Nice little hotel. Pool was lovely to cool down in of an afternoon although can get busy as people reserve loungers and don't come back for hours! Rooms were big enough with a nice balcony to sit and watch the world go by, quiet enough with minimal street noise. Staff were all polite enough as you would expect from Thai people. Breakfast was the usual mix and it was nice enough. Room was good size, bed comfortable only negative the bathrooms are not designed well. Toilet behind the door and our shower kept flooding. This got fixed by removing drain cover and not an issue after that. It's probably a bit further away from things but we don't mind walking so it wasn't an issue. Good place, would stay again.

We stayed here twice in 1 week. Very different experiences. First time om second floor: spacious modern room. Big bathroom and a good bed. All looked great. Second time: 3th floor. Room looked older bathroom very small. Room was very noisy. Bed really low just 25cm from floor to top of matras. Sidetable with a cushion on the ground to sit on and on top of this severals steps in the room ( to bathroom/ to sleepingarea/ to balcony) and a wooden kind of slippery floor. Didnt liked it at all. Completly different experience then the first

While at first I felt the hotel seemed a little too “motel-y”, I soon found it very charming and special. The room had a more traditional Thai decor with a mattress on an elevated platform. The shower did run a little lukewarm to cold. That being said, the courtyard and pool were nice and my room had a view of both, along with mountains in the distant background. We didn’t have breakfast here so I can’t comment on it but the hotel front desk was nice and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located to several amazing temples, the Sunday market, and many good shops! The positives outweigh the negatives (not so hot water), especially at the amazing price point. I would stay here again (over a more expensive and traditional hotel - and I did stay in such a hotel in Chiang Mai) and would recommend this hotel to others, especially those seeking to save money.

We have booked the hotel for one night. We arrived at 12 pm and we were made to wait till 2 pm to check in to our room. But at 2 pm, we were asked to further wait another 30 mins. Seemed very unprofessional. However, on the flip side, the good things: 1. Location - right in the centre of old town, everything in walking distance 2. Rooms are nice, have an old world feel

Would give 4.5 stars if I could. I just recently returned from a trip to Thailand and stayed at a few hotels, and this one was my favorite. I think the value for the price is amazing! It's super clean and well located - so many restaurants and shops nearby, plus the market on sunday within walking distance. The staff are so so nice and helpful. The breakfast is great! Huge selection and really delicious. Another reviewer complained about hot water in the shower, but we did not run into that issue at all. If I had to make any complaint about the room, I would say I'm not a huge fan of the bed on the floor, but I understand it's traditional. There also are no outlets next to the bed, so your phone will be charging across the room... maybe a good thing :) The rooms are super clean and they bring you two bottles of water every day. The pool is really nice and the water was beautiful! I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation.

Comfortable stay at De Lanna We had a nice experience at De Lanna. While early check-in wasn’t possible, the staff kindly let us use the toilets and the swimming pool right away, which was much appreciated after a long journey. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable — absolutely nothing to complain about there. A peaceful place to relax. The pool area was lovely and refreshing, with just the right temperature and not overloaded with chlorine. The only small downside was the fake grass around the pool, but the koi fish pond nearby added a charming and tranquil touch. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options — not outstanding in quality, but it had everything you’d expect to start the day. This hotel comes with their own washing room, for 40TBH per kilo, you can wash your own clothing (if you travel light like me? This is an amazing feature!) The staff were always smiling, very welcoming and were always happy to help. Overall, a solid stay with good comfort and service in a nice location. Would stay again!

Lovely staff, lovely rooms and a feeling of 'being away from it all' even though many great attractions are super nearby. This was our favourite accommodation in Thailand for our three week travel due to the beautiful pool and surrounding area. We could have happily stayed here longer!

Best thing about De Lanna Hotel is its location - in the middle of Chiang Mai old town. Everything is in walking distance. The edifice itself looks little bit dated, though still good. It's built in traditional Thai style. In the central courtyard is a fair size swimming pool with sunbeds - great to refresh yourself after exploring. Rooms was OK, bathroom very small and breakfast OK to start a day
