de Oriental Grand

Our group of 27 people visited Kohima on 16/01/2026. It was our good fortune that we stay in a wonderful hotel De Oriental Grand. This is really a Grand luxury hotel. Specious, neat, clean and fresh rooms. Very very testy food. Prompt service by smart staff. Very beautiful view of mountains and valley can be seen from room of this hotel. This hotel is centrally located. Easily excesible to all important locations. Huge parking area is available for guest vehicles.

It's best hotel in Kohima with very good and testy Veg food options. If you want to stay in between the city this may be best option. Huge parking place is also plus point in hilly Town.

It is one of the biggest and grandest hotel in Kohima. We were booked in the mini suite and it was the best room you can find in terms of luxury in Kohima. The food was nice but we spent more time eating at the hornbill festival and the night market. The breakfast spread was also lavish and catering to all sensibilities. This place is totally worth it

Had a pleasant stay at De Oriental Grand. The location is excellent, and the hotel gives a warm and welcoming vibe. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Service was smooth, and the overall ambience made the experience even better. A great option if you're visiting Nagaland and want a comfortable, relaxing stay

With only 4 rooms occupied yesterday in the whole hotel, they moved me to a bigger room as we were 3 adults. The room had cobwebs/ broken switches/ broken night lamp and worst was the clogged shower areas and the bathroom was flooded. The receptionist didn’t care much. Today we are the only occupants and regret our choice of spending new years in this place. You will find much better places to stay. They just didn’t care.

Probably the best place to stay in Kohima, this hotel has a great location, has spacious rooms, lots of parking space, excellent food and warm hospitality from every staff. Breakfast options are limited and some times stock of few items run out. Exhaust fan in our room wasn't working, which was replaced after 2 days. But overall it was a nice stay. Special mention for certain staff members like Shalo and Peza from the Front Desk, Pisela from the Restaurant, and Mausang & Nzanthong from Housekeeping.

the best hotel in Kohima. unfortunately i didn't try there lunch and dinner. But i try breakfast and enjoyed very much.

Bad service , miser breakfast, every small thing is chargeable, serve you expired water bottles ( dont change inspite of complaining....a crime ) ...seems no gurantee for food quality ....sure would never recommend the hotel to anyone
