We had such a wonderful stay at De Russie Boutique Hotel. The suite was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We loved the welcome bag of continental breakfast goodies, including fresh bread, delicious juices, coffee, granola and more. It was the perfect way to start each morning. The location is ideal. Peaceful and quiet, yet within easy walking distance to some of Orange’s best restaurants, Woolworths, Cook Park and more. It made exploring the town so easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the daily room service was a lovely touch that made the stay feel extra special. We truly could not fault a single thing and cannot wait to return.

I picked this place at random based on other reviews I read about it. It did not disappoint. Extremely comfortable king size bed, super quiet and even though the temperature outside dropped to close to zero overnight the room stayed warm without putting the heating on. It’s nice and close to the centre of town so you have multiple restaurants in walking distance and even though it looked to be pretty full on the night we were there we did not hear anything at all from any other guests. The continental breakfast they provided was good and we got upgraded to a two room suite (one of the bedrooms was locked off) that meant we also had a well set up kitchenette that even included a dishwasher. This is a good option for staying in Orange.

Just loved this hotel. Welcoming, so comfortable, great position, easy parking. Super comfortable bed, great little in room breakfast package. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Washing machine and dryer excellent for people on the road

The attention to detail was incredible—from the plush bedding and spacious layout to the little touches like complimentary breakfast essentials and thoughtful amenities that made us feel right at home. The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their local recommendations helped us experience the very best of Orange including the best wine tasting spots. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend escape, a romantic getaway, or a special occasion, De Russie is the perfect choice. It’s easily one of the most memorable boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at, and we’ll absolutely be returning. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a blend of comfort, style, and exceptional hospitality in the heart of Orange.

Beautiful hotel, most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Rooms well appointed, clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Great central location. Would define recommend and return.

Stayed for a long cold & wet winter weekend. Hotel, room and service were outstanding. The bed had to be the most comfortable one I’ve slept on out of home. The breaky bags each morning were such a nice touch. The location is perfect.. walking distance from plenty of restaurants & cafes. And an easy trip out to some lovely wineries.

An incredible stay, the room (king suite) is so thoughtfully designed. Plenty of storage space, a kitchenette, verendah, large tv and very comfortable bed!! SO clean, and the breakfast grab and go bags in the bedroom are so generous. The man at reception was also so great, and took the time to explain local recommendations and gave the best first impression to the hotel. 10/10

Arguably the best guest house in the Orange district! Four of us stayed in one of the two-bedroom suites. The room accommodated the four adults quite easily, with two separate bedrooms, one bathroom (with bath), and an open plan kitchen - lounge - dining area. Some of the things I really liked were: The complimentary breakfast baggie every morning, containing three slices of bread, jams, butter, margarine, flash fruit juices and gourmet muesli; Reverse-cycle airco; Pillow-top comfy beds (even in the double single beds); Plenty of pillow options; Extra blankets (but not required); Comfy couch; Large flat screen tv; Full range of kitchen utensils; Hot shower with broad head (not one of those pissy needle types); Fluffy towels changed daily, so I didn't have to remember which one was mine; Great fireplace and comfy chairs in the quiet reception, if you needed space; Off-street parking; Lovely old-fashioned service, but modern decor and comforts; Centre of town location (just around the corner); TERRIFIC new wine bar just across the road!! If you've got the inclination to stay somewhere a little classier than a motel, then have a look as the prices are really quite reasonable for a share scenario (it cost me under $250 for 3 nights over the weekend, shared cost).

Really comfortable family suite. Clean, well presented and plenty of room. Mini and snack bar pricing was very reasonable. Easy walking distance to shops and cafés in Orange. Indoor pool was a bit small and wasn't heated as specified. But would definitely stay again.
