De Tulperij

Great place to visit during the tulip season. We visited it during the bike ride towards Keukenhof. It was so much fun to compare two completely different experiences. Tulperij is so cozy, nice and warm place. You can take a quick pit-stop and grab a lunch among vivid colorful landscape or stuck for hours making photos of endless flowers varieties. I loved the installations and a gift shop. It is so true-Dutch-spirit where people created a great value on such a small piece of land.

Beautiful place with tulip and dahlia expositions from april to october. You can pick flowers yourself and also buy bulbs from the shop.

Cutest little tulip farm! Much smaller than others we went to, but also a better experience! The road to get there is very narrow, so while we drove and they do have parking lots, it would be best to bike in (it would be a far walk). When you walk in, there are baskets of Dahlias to buy, also some cute vintage items for sale as well (including vintage delft!!) and then you get into the cafe area and the actual shop. The shop has very cutes items for sale and the cafe has tulip beer and a tulip spritz (so good!!) which you can walk with in the gardens outside. The gardens are not really the vast sprawling fields, instead having hundreds of different varieties of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinth, all with name tags so you can find your favorites! They are have a few multi color rows where you can ask to pick your own tulips (10 for €7.50) and they will tell you how to pick the good ones! They have lots of outdoor seating and it is all so cute and well curated for a great atmosphere. There is also a burger food truck which we did not eat at, but smelled amazing! Every employee we spoke to was so kind and helpful, even with our language barrier (Dutch is really hard, English is really hard, we all did our best!). This is overall such an amazing experience and it feels a lot more intimate and intentional than other places we’ve been, we will be back! 💕

Such a lovely place to visit at the end of summer! 🌼 A beautiful flower garden where you can also sit down for a drink and enjoy the view. Entrance is free. Highly recommend!

If you want to meet the people who live and work with tulips every day, this is the place. You can walk among real fields, take beautiful photos, and hear true local stories. The café is charming — filled with vintage touches and local desserts, each telling its own story. It’s a cozy, spring-like spot where everything feels real and personal. A perfect, authentic alternative to the tourist crowds!

Free access to their show garden and take advantage of Instagram worthy scenery. Affordable tickets for the production field. Just don't forget to buy coffee and Dutch waffle to complete your visit and help the company.

My favourite place to go to during summer! Beautiful flowers all around, the super friendly owners make you feel very welcome, and the homemade cake is delicious.
