A truly excellent meal meal with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Had the tasting menu paired with the cocktails and thought each dish played superbly with the corresponding cocktails. Everything from food to ambiance to meal pacing was great. Was in Paris four nights, dining at both traditional and non traditional “foodie” spots and thought the food was significantly more creative/innovative than an unnamed Michelin restaurant with notoriously challenging booking. Definitely strongly recommend a visit to De Vie!

Incredible experience at De Vie, would rate higher if I could!! Food was amazing, paired with incredible cocktails that just completed the flavors flawlessly. Service was impeccable - just what you need to feel welcome but discrete enough to let you enjoy. The ambience was also really great, with a choice of cutlery and plates perfectly consistent with the design and philosophy of the restaurant. Also very appreciated: the circular production of the dishes. De Vie is a gem, I’ll try again!

What a special place! Everything and everyone here is really exceptional. The food is extraordinary, every course was devine. I love that there is a non alcoholic option for the menu pairing, and each drink has as much thought and attention as the version with alcohol. The team is so friendly and knowledgeable about what is being served- good vibes all around. I wish I could give them an extra star for their effort to us local/seasonal products and sustainability. Can’t wait to come back

This team truly loves what they do—you can feel it in every detail. Their creativity shines through each dish and drink, and I really appreciate the effort they put into using ingredients sustainably. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also passionate, making the whole experience feel personal and genuine. I especially loved the thoughtful touch of the little card with recommendations for nearby bars—it showed how much they care about the guest experience beyond just the meal. I came in for a solo dinner and was met with such warm hospitality that I never once felt out of place. I’d absolutely return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a team that goes above and beyond.

Simply put, one of the most creative and impressive meals I've ever had. The food and drink pairings were incredible. There was so much going on, I can't even describe it accurately. Even when we finished dinner and the found room for us at the downstairs bar, the drinks continued to be something unique and special. I don't live in Paris and while I travel there frequently enough, this place has me thinking how soon can I go back? The staff were beyond friendly. Rarely do we eat somewhere that the staff is as talkative and engaging as they were. My only complaint would be I don't live here to go back immediately.

An excellent experience at the bar with Tom as a most informative and entertaining bartender I've ever had to pleasure to meet. A friend found and booked this place for the cocktail tasting menu. We had 5 (plus 1 extra) fabulous cocktails; each one was unusual, unique, and delicious! It was a fun and educational experience. Tom is a very open, warm-hearted man who very much enjoys his work. I heartily recommend this place to anyone, and I plan to go back for the food next time I'm in Paris.

Impeccably designed cocktails and bites. The apricot kernel marzipan is still memorable! Everything presented with style and thoroughly explained by lovely staff. It was pretty packed with tourists (of which I was one) given the neighborhood and season (August); it doesn’t detract from anything but might be good to know for those planning a visit.

By far one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had! We stumbled upon the underground cocktail lounge just by chance and were so impressed with Barney’s kindness, conversation, and cocktails so we booked the following evening for the multi course dinner with drinks pairing… it was all so delicious!!! The service was excellent and I also really enjoyed the atmosphere. They place a high priority’s on local, high quality ingredients (this even translates to their chairs and ceramics) and reducing waste. This place is an absolute must and I can’t wait to go back again.
