We booked to stay for four nights but unfortunately had to move to another house after two due to a cockroach issue! We ended up with over 10 in the bedroom within 16hours of arrival and this included them being in our shoes and suitcase! They were great at moving us quickly although assured us we would see them everywhere we go, that has not been the case...|The second property, 92 Waterkant, was lovely and clean but annoyingly did not have the pool which is what we booked the first property for.|The location was great with lots of cafes nearby and we felt very secure. |Overall not what we wanted for our first few nights in Cape Town with friends!

Just back from 4 BAYVIEW TERRACE which was simply outstanding. Really friendly welcome and a fabulous house. Had everything we needed, felt incredibly safe and well maintained and just a stroll from the waterfront. Really couldn’t fault it and would love to stay again.

My husband and I stayed at 40 Napier St for a week and would probably stay here again. Check in is a bit of an ordeal but the location is amazing, the unit conveniently has a dryer for clothing and there is a pool, which we actually used as a cold plunge in June. The sofa could sure use a refresh but it worked fine with just two of us. With a group of 4, seating might be more of an issue. Something odd is that they only supply the bare minimum "to get you started" but I found it odd that they have biweekly cleaning but wouldn't replace a single mini bar of soap that we requested. It's so illogical when places do that for longer stays, given that the guest pays for those extra nights, and it's less work for the host, the longer a guest stays. Why do you get one bar of soap if it's a one night stay or a one month? So odd. Anyway, just a small thing and I'd probably stay here again when we are back in Cape Town.

A total gem, near to everything and very little that was not already available immediately. Absolutely recommend this spot if you're looking for a home away from home, a little lavish experience for your holiday getaway. Without breaking the bank. When comparing to hotels around this was cheaper without all the admin and hassle, the team are amazing, friendly, helpful, even gave us a free tour of the local area to get our bearings. Really really fantastic spot!

We had a fantastic, four-night stay at the three-bedroom apartment at 70 Loader Street, De Waterkant, at the end of our three-week family holiday in South Africa. The apartment was stunning - clean, modern and beautifully and distinctively decorated. The views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill from the hot tub deck and of The Waterfront from the patio and balcony were superb. The communication with De Waterkant Cottages, including the welcome on arrival and the level of information that they provided, was outstanding. De Waterkant was a beautiful, safe neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants and cafes and the apartment was within easy walking distance of the city centre, the Waterfront and the colourful neighbourhood of Bo Kaap. The apartment had a garage but we used the free on-street parking as well, using a parking permit that was provided.

If all of the properties in this group are the same as 92 Waterkant, you cant go wrong. Beautiful and well maintained house in a very safe area. Fully equipped, quality kitchen, with washer dryer. Over 4 floors so plenty of room to chill and get some personal space. Plunge pool looked lovely but weather too cold! Beds were extremely comfy with loads of pillows. Ensuites to both bedrooms were quality with loads of hot water. No loadshedding which was a bonus! Only niggle was they changed the towels and full bedding when not necessary. Waste of water and electricity. Made our beds and didnt leave towels on floor, but all still changed, even after saying it wasn't necessary. Also no peephole on side door so no way of knowing who was ringing the bell, apart from running upstairs and looking over the balcony. Apart from this, a perfect stay in a great house. Highly recommend and would def stay again.

We're staying here for 3 nights. Came from the airport straight to appartement 92. Sadly the weather is bad. So we didn't use the outside terrace. It's clean, big enough. Only the amount of light switches is big........ 😁 And perfect that the power outlets all have usb outlets. Thnx . Btw We're leaving Monday morning..... and could leave the keys in de mailbox

We were 2 families (9 ppl) traveling together and we stayed at the 39 Dixon unit. What a beautiful house in a great neighborhood. Unfortunately, we were there during Level 4 adjusted lockdown, so the area was very quiet and businesses are hurting. However, we felt very safe at all times and all the proper COVID protocols were in place. Trust was our main contact - he was always responsive to e-mails and very helpful. He brought in a few groceries for us upon arrival and gave us a very informative tour of the unit. The rooms were all very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a beautiful rooftop view of Table Mountain and a hot tub too! The De Waterkant Cottages are a great option, especially for families that don't fit into traditional hotel rooms.
