Located in a converted garage overlooking Noorderk, De Weldaad is a fusion of home supplies and architectural salvage. The spacious store offers an electic mixture of furniture, lighting, fabrics, shelving, fittings, garden decor and an astonishing variety of bird cages. Here you'll find everything from antiques to industrial designs in a multitude of materials including fabric, wood, metal, glass, ceramics and porcelain. Items are exported all over the world and the owner regularly travels to India and Hungary in search of unique and authentic products. This is a great place to combine with a visit to the Saturday Market which takes place on the square surrounding Noorderkerk.
