Free beach right next to the landing approach to the airport = fun! There are street vendors selling beverages (beers, sodas, water) and it felt safe. Definitely a local spot and glad we had a chance to experience! Parking might be a challenge.

I walked from the guesthouse to Dead End Beach near the airport. On the way, you pass through a city park and a large sandy beach near a neighboring park, as well as a very small beach. After going through the main shopping street, you finally see the words "Dead End Beach." However, the beach itself is much smaller than I expected — just a tiny strip of sand. There were locals here cleaning fish and selling drinks. So, after seeing it, I decided to head back the same way, passing by the two larger beaches again. That said, the seawater here is as clear and beautiful as everywhere else in Jamaica — which is to say, incredibly clear and stunning. So if you want to take a picture of the "Dead End Beach" sign, it’s worth a visit. But if you’re hoping to see something extraordinary or have high expectations, it’s probably not necessary to go out of your way.

One of the very public beaches left. And tho very small it’s still amazing and packs a punch. You can fish and rent jet skis. Vendors are onsite and so are restaurants

Beautiful, Free and Picturesque. You can watch the planes landing, enjoy a special from the local vendors while listening to their music and enjoying the beach. This beach is connected to other hotels’ properties but this area is completely free to use. There’s a mix of tourist and locals which makes this place feel more welcoming. The water seems to always be warm and so calm that the babies can run around without harm. This is by far my favorite free beach. Parking is first come first serve and at your own risk. There isn’t a parking lot but people park where it’s convenient

Good Day Everyone On this day we made a quick stop by dead end beach. I have been there many times. It’s a free beach and there’s always a vibe. Many local vendors are present selling everything from handmade waist beads , homegrown herb, to homemade food. Someone always has music playing and the sun always shines beautifully in MoBay. Some water sports can be booked through the locals If you’re not afraid to do so. Many locals have their own boats etc and will take you out for a quick ride and photos. Families and children are usually present frockling along the beach. Don’t be surprised if you see parents teaching the little ones to swim or some of the women doing laundry. The local fishermen can be seen selling their fresh catches of the day. A nice place for reading, relaxing, yoga or just a social experience. I always stop by dead end beach when I’m in MoBay. a very small and dirty beach Locals come there, and not everyone has the best mental health. One woman started yelling at me when I was taking a photo of the beach 😬

I came across Dead End Beach by complete chance. Since I did, I just continued to look around. There isn't really much sand on the beach, expect for two big patches. The beach is close to the airport, so you'll hear alot of loud plane realted noises. This beach is actually pretty popular on the weend. The beach is nothing too impressive really, jus a chill show for the family.

I stumbled upon Dead End Beach by accident, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! 🌴✨ Located right at the end of the airport, it's the perfect spot for plane spotting as they come in to land. 🛬✈️ The beach itself is great for swimming, with clear waters and a relaxed vibe. 🌊🏊‍♂️ What I loved the most were the local vendors along this end. 🏝️🍹 Their offerings add a charming, authentic touch to the whole experience. I'll recommend Dead End Beach any day! If you find yourself in Montego Bay, make sure to take a drive to this hidden gem. 🚗🌟
