Incredible selection of old treasures that are waiting to be built into or around someone's eccentric home / projects. As well as a feast for the eyes if you enjoy shiny things or objects that could possibly be haunted.

Google
Beautiful one of kind items. It's so fun to browse their treasures! Very friendly staff full of stories about where the items come from. I even saw some antiques that were movie props for, Killers of the Flower Moon!

Google
In search of architectural antiques, and they do have some....but there's a strong garage sale vibe here too. I would respect this more if the garage sale items were in a separate area, and priced accordingly. The store would be cooler, if it had a value room with items under $25. It's tough when random items of little to no value are mixed in with legitimate architectural antiques. Garage sale items = reproduction items, furniture from target, damaged things and things I would toss and not sell. I have to point out they have an amazing amount of hanging light fixtures and doors. Worth a look around.

I want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your establishment. Prior to my visit, I had reviewed online feedback expressing concerns, but decided to visit nonetheless. Unfortunately, these concerns proved to be well-founded. My intention was to purchase several stamp books. However, I encountered significant issues. Multiple books were displayed without pricing, and upon inquiry, the employee was unable to provide any valuation. I offered what I believed to be a fair price for three specific books, based on my expertise as a stamp collector and an assessment of their apparent contents. My offer was rejected, and I was informed that a higher price would be demanded. I ultimately purchased one book for $250. Upon closer examination at home, I discovered that a substantial number of stamps were missing, as evidenced by the original owner’s inventory list included within the book. This constitutes a significant discrepancy and renders the purchase price unacceptable, particularly considering the lack of transparency regarding the book's contents. This experience has left me with a strong sense that the pricing and sales practices employed at your store are misleading and unfair. I strongly urge you to review your pricing and inventory management processes to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Google
Really cool store, but most of the things that they have are quite expensive and also quite large. It's a great place to window shop and see the vintage items. They have a lot of antiques, including huge doors and full entry ways. There is a ton to see, and the staff is really nice. Make sure to stop by but you might want to bring a large vehicle to get anything home that you might decide to pick up.

Google
Great place to find solid wood doors! They also do custom work. We found a beautiful door that was a perfect fit. Rose helped us find the perfect matching hardware and was so sweet! They also do beautiful custom work.

I spent some time this week wandering around Dead People’s Stuff in Oklahoma City while working on an upcoming article. Walking through the front door felt like I had tumbled down Alice's rabbit hole into an architectural antique and design wonderland. You can almost feel the history breathing in and out of the woods, whispering the stories they have witnessed over the decades. I stopped several times in almost reverence to marvel at the craftsmen who created these works of art that have endured the test of time. Every nook and cranny is an eclectic melding of your grandma's house, a hundred museums, and the best estate sale you've ever attended. As a storyteller, I was overwhelmed by the threads of time woven in and out of every aisle of this unique store. You need to have vision when dealing with dead people's stuff. Dream about what could be, not just what you see before you, so remember to bring your credit card and your imagination. So many nameless artisans' works of art are now gathered in one place for us to explore and incorporate into our homes - making new stories for them to remember. #deadpeoplesstuff (photos by me)

Google
Such a fun place to explore. They have some absolutely gorgeous fixtures and doors. It's a bit of an eclectic treasure trove. Definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Um, if I could live here..... I would !! We live in our RV and was hoping to spruce it up and I'll be honest, the name got me in but man, it is soooo amazing here !! I told my husband, if we lived near here, he would be in trouble because I loved it all ! Even their woman's bathroom was gorgeous ! We walked around (very slowly according to my husband lol ) for about an hour and I left with only a couple of things but I had made plans to come back again but I didn't make it. I was so sad ! This place is AMAZEBALLS !!

Yelp
It's an ok store. It's more of an old door store than your typical antique store. Not much to take home and put on a shelf. And it's very expensive to buy anything here. It has a cool name lol and that's kinda it.

Richelle L.

Yelp
This place is worth the visit to see 'dead people's stuff'. Unfortunately, everything is high priced for what it is. It is also difficult to navigate through. Not handicap, stroller nor distracted person friendly. I imagine if you have an old house with non standard door dimensions, or in need of stained glass windows, this might be your place.
google avatar

Nicole E.

Yelp
Discounts glass windows and other items too. If you check-in, you get a 10% discount. It's rather overwhelming and chaotic, yet there is some method to the madness and layout and organization in some areas. Other areas feels like a maze and quite disorganized. It was still interesting to walk through. I was interested to look at their silver, but to get to them, they were blocked by antique chaise that you are not allowed to sit on to get to the silver.

Yelp
It was a treat and a trip visiting DPS. Lord knows I have collected a lot of others people's stuff over a long time and most of them were probably dead or dead by now. There is a cornucopia of items here and luckily for me I don't have room in my carry on bag for any of it except a t shirt. But there was a plethora of items I liked. The staff was helpful and nice. If I lived in okc I would frequent the place, thankfully for my wallet I do not. I would recommend it as a destination for visitors and people who want to put some spunk in their home.

Yelp
This place is as cool as the name implies! They have a HUGE selection of antique housewares. Less trinkety items. All home furnishings. You could completely backwards remodel a house to vintage wonder with everything they have. I never spoke to a staff member while I wandered around, but they were helping other customers. The only negative is it is extremely expensive. You can find very similar antiques in the NE part of Oklahoma for a fraction of the cost. But they have very cool pieces.
google avatar

Elisa S.

Yelp
This was a nice place. Second time coming here but it's been about 5 years. I think they're expanded and they have a lot more vendor items which are really unique. They also have a wall of succulents for sale. I didn't find any special prices for myself this time but I will definitely be returning in the future.
google avatar

Shawn C.

Yelp
kget ready to spend hours looking around. there is stuff everywhere. Outside too. a small upstairs area. if you are renovating and want some old doors, windows, glass, baseboards, door knobs, handles/knobs for cabinets, sinks, toilets, urinals, tubs, whole vanity/sinks, old stoves, safes etc they have it all. HECK even a huge wood stair case!! some things are in poor condition, somethings are perfectly preserved. they have some HUGE solid wood furniture pieces as well. This is a dream place for someone trying to restore old homes. BE WARNED its expensive!
google avatar

Janelle D.

Yelp
This place is INSANELY overpriced for the quality. I will admit there are some cool and very unique pieces; but there is also a lot of junk being sold at exorbitant prices. Like $85 for a door knocker that's chipped and dusty? Please be real. 3/5 stars. If you're will to pay and/or are big into renovation projects this could be the place for you. 2/5 parking, mainly street parking and in a really run down area of town
google avatar

Lynnet P.

Yelp
First time here and WOW! This place is huge, we could have spent a couple hours... Very cool We will be back!
google avatar

Debra K.

Yelp
So I remember back in the day when this was just "Architectural Antiques" and it was a great place to browse through dusty stuff. Dead People's Stuff is a little more refined than the previous business but it's morphed into a great store but expensive. Really great stuff but EXPENSIVE! I'm not beyond paying for quality merch but really? Over $40 bucks for a clay pot? But, don't get me wrong, I love exploring and I adore their logos. I did have to by a t-shirt. This is destination shopping though, still at its best. The compound next door (beers and BBQ) looks interesting but it was closed when I was there.
google avatar

Maria V.

Yelp
Awesome store. I was slightly overwhelmed on where to look and hunt. But that's what always keeps my interest on vintage shopping.
google avatar

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Cool store with lots of unique items, but insanely overpriced!!! I even found a Sam's club mirror there that I paid $45 for and they had it priced at $125. I don't see how they make any money with their prices, but if they do that's good for them. Cool stuff, pricing is definitely way too high.

Lois S.

Yelp
This is the coolest store! Anything from an old house that you can think of, they have it. Stained glass doors, windows, furniture, light fixtures, chandeliers, claw foot tubs, etc. We picked up a very nice cane-back wooden rocker , excellent condition and at a good price. We spent a long time just looking around at everything. They even had staircases that had to have come from a huge home. Fun!
google avatar

Robert C.

Yelp
It's a cool place to look at some really neat stuff but most of it is way overpriced I understand a mark up for the convenience and building but their prices are the highest in town.

Alice W.

Yelp
Great inventory, you will find unusual. Well built furniture. The people there are great.
google avatar

Yelp
From the moment you grab the 1900's naval brass door handles you are teleported into a pickers paradise! Fixtures, doors and even a whole staircase and pump pedal organs... to mission Furnature... if you're looking for antiques, look no further then this shoppe!

Yelp
I was so excited to come here with my friend. I had heard of people finding cute plants here. We walked in and were greeted by eclectic decorations and plants for sale disbursed throughout. I hate hate hate to give bad reviews, and honestly their plants deserve 0 stars, but I was HORRIFIED at what I saw. ALL of their plants were completely infested with bugs and fungi and all kinds of nightmares. I instantly ran to the bathroom after touching one of them. I felt like I needed to strip and cleanse before entering my home of 200 houseplants. Very concerning. They had a bunch of cute decorations but I also saw lots of eggs and mold on them as well. Unfortunately, because I have so many houseplants, I cannot risk every going inside this store again for fear of bringing home a plant disease. Very disappointing because there was so much potential.

Yelp
I've been here several times the past couple years, usually looking for something in particular. The thing is, it's the same stuff. Nobody is buying this stuff. There is a shelf that's been there for 3 years, at almost $1000. I offered $250 and got an eye roll and a "no thanks". So it's just going to sit there until they close down, since no one is buying any of the big stuff. I saw people buying plants and doorknobs. I don't know how they are still in business. Cool stuff to look at. Makes for cute insta posts.
google avatar

Yelp
Oh how I LOVE to wander this store. Soooo mannnnny unique pieces from lighting to bathroom fixtures, cabinet hardware to doors...and so much MORE. If you've been on the hunt for something and unable to locate it, you'll likely be successful here. The outside of the building is plain and unassuming but when you step inside, you've stepped back in time. If you're looking for conversation pieces for your home, you'll find those here! The staff; always always helpful and friendly!!!
google avatar

GlobetrottingGrubster ..

Yelp
So it is a really cool place to go to when you just wanna check out old stuff. I don't know anyone that would pay the prices that they want to charge for things. Go to check out a piece of your past...not to purchase anything.
google avatar

Gina M.

Yelp
Place is pretty cool. Lots of antiques. Place is packed to the rafters with stuff. ....
google avatar

Carleen H.

Yelp
Fascinating store with plants, doors, stained glass windows and tons of salvaged treasures. Whether you are looking for decor items or want to take a walk back in time, you will be fulfilled here! There is a fair amount of quirky things as well as some nice furniture pieces. Loads of outdoor cement odds and ends including planters, angels and benches. The prices are slightly higher than an antique shop but the variety is vast. Definitely will go back again!

Michael W.

Yelp
This place has a lot of antiques, but it way over priced. As we were looking around the store we found a box of old broken picture frames buried in the back of the store covered in dust. We found a few small frame that were not in good shape. And when we brought these small half broken frame to the front register. They want $145 for 6 of them. No thank you we walked out of the store for price gouging. We ended up going to habitat for humanity Restore and found old pictures frame for less than $1 each.

Yelp
I've been following this place for a while on Instagram and finally decided to drive up from Dallas on Saturday. The front area is more of a retail boutique and the back is where the "architectural" stuff is (sinks, doors, windows, etc) but it's all still interesting to wander through. Worth the impromptu road trip!
google avatar

Brian V.

Yelp
Holy cow, this place is a tad off the beaten path, but worth the mile trek from the Plaza district to see. If you need that unique piece to make your interior design stand out, this is the shop for you. The have everything from doors to door knobs to architectural salvage. Please check out the pictures I have shared because there is sooo much more!
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Super cool collection of stuff that you won't find in other places. Bring a truck and a wallet!!
google avatar

Tally C.

Yelp
If you're looking for something specifically antiquey - this is your place. They had TONS of doors, lots of reclaimed wood, cool door hardware and lighting. It was a bit overwhelming as someone who walked in not knowing exactly what to expect, but the place was packed full of treasures. While we didn't find what we were looking for this visit, I'm sure I'll be back sometime soon to give another peek.
google avatar

Selisha T.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best antique shops in OKC. They have an eclectic collection that seems thoughtfully curated. Would be great to scope if you are remodeling a house, the had a great hall of doors, windows and lights. Will for sure be back!
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
This store is amazing. And how are you going to pass up a great name like this !! The plants are amazing and the staff were supper nice.
google avatar

Mica G.

Yelp
If you even semi enjoy antiquing, this is a must see store! They had such fun, eclectic items and everything is displayed in an easy to access way. There were some beautiful pieces mixed in with everyday items and it was such a fun time walking through the store. We also ended up buying a plant, which was so not what I was expecting from an antique store!
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
I visited the shop not long ago and was duly impressed with the wide and varied selection. A former employee here had spent a great deal of time and money with me at my estate sales, and so I was familiar (at least somewhat) with the retail location. The store itself is HUGE, and the service is friendly and helpful. You'll find doors, windows, cornices, wainscoting, hardware, corbels, mantels, columns, and . . . well, all this plus SO much more. The parking here is actually quite genrous, but it may appear less than ample on the first visit. (There are lots of adjacent streets to park along should you fail to find a parking spot during peak hours, so don't gripe.) FIVE YELP STARS!
google avatar

Sherry R.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. The building has been completely remodeled. It is completely unrecognizable compared to what it used to be. New owners have brought in awesome new inventory. I could shop for hours here. Staff was super helpful at answering all my questions. Looking forward to construction being done because there will be a grand re-opening which they informed me they will stock the store with a lot of new inventory from England, Europe, India etc. P.S love their new logo!

Alannis B.

Yelp
More than worth taking the time to stop in and see what they have! Their door selection was amazing as well as their lighting fixtures. Love that they sell plants and planters too!

J L.

Yelp
Not an antique store. The front has some plants, crystal rocks, cement garden statues, but mostly home decor and tshirts and mugs. The back is a warehouse FULL of old doors, lighting fixtures, windows, huge wood carved mantle pieces and vintage sinks. If you were renovating a gothic or European style home you might come here to look for original hardware, etc. Cool name but it is misleading.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this place out for-evah, and finally had good reason to make my way over to Linwood (a street I always manage to lose). I was looking for a large desk, and while I didn't find a desk, I finally got to check out a local treasure. This place is massive, with many rooms and nooks. And while there is a LOT of stuff, it is not packed or cramped. The front of the shop has many large mantles, lots of stained glass pieces, wrought iron, an antique phone booth, and oh so much more. As you go back further into the store, there are rooms with old apothecary tables that contain all manner of antique hinges, door knobs, drawer and cabinet pulls and so on. There are also a ton of cool old light fixtures, many of them art deco, as well as a lot of sturdy old pedestal sinks. Coat racks, student desks, lamps, and so on. This could be 5 stars, but there is so much of it that I just have no idea what to do with. For someone who knows the first thing about antiques, remodeling or architectural salvage, I'm sure it would be like the coolest place ever. If you're into that kind of stuff here, I'm sure you're well aware of all this place has to offer. Then there were so many other things, I wouldn't even begin to try and list them off. You should go there to see it for yourself. I did take a few pictures just to give you an idea.

Yelp
Came down to OKC to explore and we found this shop! They look like they were renovating the place. Had a lot of interesting things to look at as well. The owners were very helpful and nice! If you are looking for doors, chandeliers, and unique items for your house/projects this is the place to go! They have plenty of skeleton keys for sell too if you're looking to buy some for a craft/project!

Larry G.

Yelp
A place to get great architectural pieces but not senior citizen friendly, especially the rude, skinny young man with dirty long hair.

Ashley W.

Yelp
Needed to purchase lighting but the young woman working was extremely unfriendly. I am interested in two fixtures but left wanting to look elsewhere bc how unwelcome I felt. Beautiful store tho

Hannah D.

Yelp
I am going to be very upfront and say that I HATE antique stores and resale shops... BUT Dead People's Stuff is SUCH a unique and cool place to visit. A friend brought me here and we had the great last time looking around. They have VERY interesting well pieces (big and small) that you can use to make your home or space one with lots of character! It is organized and fun even just to take a look around and dream!
google avatar

Erik K.

Yelp
We wanted to check this place out after reading Julies review and because we like to explore Oklahoma. This place seemed like it would be very cool. It was i guess. We got skunked but that does not mean you wont find something you like. We just didnt see anything that was affordable and would compliment our home. Nothing jumped out. We did see a few itmes we liked but the prices were OMG! as my daughter would say. So eh. we did like rummaging around and the owner was very nice. I dont think we will go back. There are so many other places to see. But if you have not been here and\or if you have a door fetish ( they have lots of doors and door parts for some reason) this is a cool place to see and check off your list. We had a good time.

Yelp
WOW! What an amazing place.. a way to spend ane nitre day.. as someone who daubles in antiques, architecture & decorating.. this is my kind of place! There is so much.. from hardware to a mssive elevator.. and the history.. wow, if these walls could talk!
