Dead Sea Museum

The museum had some interesting information about the Dead Sea and it's declining water levels. The information is dated though (from 2009), would be nice to see an update now that it's nearly 2026. Didn't go into the restaurant. The walking trail wasn't particularly special and I would expect the majority of people would be fine skipping it.

I’ve been here twice for lunch, and the view and I also visited the museum. The restaurant: Food was more than decent, the shish tawook, kibbeh beiruti hummous and also had mixed grill and the grilled halloumi the first time (no photos) were pretty good, but the grilled shrimped was expensive and flavour was a bit off. The lamb had a nice sauce that went well with French fries, reminded me of a poutine gravy. The lamb chops themselves were decent but not great. Service was nice and they take credit card. Overall food is good for a quick lunch, a bit pricey for the quality, but it’s the view that is worth the detour. You have I think one of the best panoramic views of the Dead Sea. The museum is also decent, lots of interesting info but seems a bit dated. Ah yes there is a weird entrance fee that is cheaper for Jordanians and Arabs, but not residents, so 2 JOD per person if you’re not Arab…first time I see that Overall 4.5/5 because -1 star fo the food quality.

Absolutely stunning place full of charm and so romantic with beautiful scenery of cliffs and the dead sea ❤️there is also a museum and areas you can stroll around ❤️food was delicious ❤️ would definitely go back

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Jordan. It has a magnificent view of the dead sea! The food is really good and reasonably priced as well. And lastly the service is great. I always try to stop by whenever I’m in Jordan. It’s a little hard to get to but the view is totally worth it!

The location of the panorama is very distinctive, beautiful and high. It contains the Dead Sea Museum, a panorama restaurant, and a group of private hotel and residential rooms in a pyramid shape. The site overlooks a large area of the Dead Sea as well as a significant area of Palestine. The atmosphere is very nice and many beautiful souvenir photos can be taken. As for the restaurant, there is a wide list of distinctive and delicious foods and drinks, but the restaurant needs to modify the type of bread served, preferably baked on site. The service is very good and the staff is nice and helpful. Health facilities need more attention to cleanliness.

Beautiful place! Amazing atmosphere and spectacular view! The food is a bit on the pricey side but complete worth it! Best to get near sunset

A small museum arranged in a complex that also includes a restaurant and (I'm not sure) some accommodation, located in the middle of the wilderness. It offers interesting information about the flora, fauna, geological structure of the Dead Sea area. A separate chapter is dedicated to the dramatic drop in the water level of the Dead Sea. You need 30-40 minutes to visit it.
