Dean's Pizza

Deans pizza is absolutely delicious. Their ingredients are always fresh and has been a family favorite for 30+ years. Their sausage is like no other, but I prefer to bake their pizzas on my own. My favorite is a Canadian bacon, sausage and olive.

Awesome little pizza spot that makes amazing sandwiches, a pizza by the slice! Shawn recommended the Italian and it was amazing! He had a great vibe and was holding down the spot by himself but got my order out fast ! This is a hidden gem would definitely recommend !

I was like, "eh it's ok" but my wife was like "oh man! This is some good pizza" so obviously that means it was a 5 star experience.

The Place is old and run down hot to dine at but the pizza is amazing building need to be up dated but this is my favorite pizza place 25 for a large supreme pizza with meat and veggies so delicious beter the pizzas hut or dominoes

Picked up my order today at 3:20pm the pizza and wings were made to perfection!!! The girl at drive-thru window gave amazing customer service!!!! Dean's never has failed me!!!! Definitely recommend!!!!

Was recommended to Deans Pizza from a friend and have to say it was disappointing. It was not horrible but not that good. Crust was like cardboard on the bottom from being way over cooked and lacked flavor on the pepperoni. Combo was not as bad but to be honest I hate to say Domino's is better. First impressions are everything as far as return customers. Sorry guys.

Honestly this is the best pizza place in turlock that you can order from. The pizza is always delicious and full. When my family and I go to pick up or have it delivered, we have the best experiences. The owner and staff are very friendly and willing to help when needed. You guys are doing an amazing job!

Paid $ 44.79 for 2 pizzas got the receipt from email. Went inside to pick it up. Then left got home ate it. Looked my card transaction and it said $46.68 so I got charge an extra transition of $1.89 yup for $1.89 you lost a customer. Got overcharged from my receipt

Deans pizza is absolutely delicious! To top it off the staff is friendly and helpful. Pizzas are always ready to go when we pick them up. Hands down favorite pizza in town. The drive through window is very convenient when I have my car full of kids.

I called to order a take and bake pizza. Phone order went flawless. Arrived to pick up pizza a few minutes early and your crew was very polite. We needed to wait a few minutes out front and they brought out pizza out as promised. We got home and cooked it and it was one of the best pizza we have ever had.

So happy to find pizza sold by the slice with soda included in price. Initially with first two orders everything was spot on, unfortunately the last two times were a disaster, forgot one of the toppings, wings with bar b que sauce were extremely spicy, had to travel across town to return, tried again tonight wings with no sauce were very spicy and the slice with avocado and ham just looked sad. This has happened during the evening shift, maybe no manager on site?

I'm the bro that put Jesus on this and this is the best pizza ever it's convenient and always consistently amazing. Normally some places you can get a great pizza sometimes and other it's not that good but here always good. My teacher put me on in middle school never again has my mouth tasted anything this great and again I can not complement the consistency enough

Me and my friends got 1 slice each today and it was delicious! First of all the service was amazing the person taking our order was kind and a very friendly person. And lastly the inside was clean but not for sitting and eating but the front lace is still 5 stars.

Damn, if there was a pizza slice I'd marry, it'd be the ones at deans. They smack so hard. Top tier bro. I'm used to little ceasars mid ahh pizza but when my bro introduced me to deans, I was lwk flabbergasted. Plus on the app , you can pick cash to pay inside so you don't gotta enter you card info. 20/10 service with that. Also great workers. Will definitely waste more money here for top tier pizza .

I work a few doors down from Dean's Pizza. I order their sandwiches almost daily. They are incredibly good! Their pizzas are fantastic too. Try Dean's in Turlock, you won't be disappointed.

I'm constantly impressed with the care Tom and his crew gave my order. I was paying a lot for extra toppings that were already part of the pizza I had selected. Tom called to clarify credited my card, and made the pizzas perfectly!

I got the rad card and figured I'd try Dean's out. Not sure how it took me so many years! We opted for the gourmet combo. Love that it had white sauce and artichokes. They have a drive thru, which makes pick up super easy. I called after work and they do take and bake or cook it for you for an additional fee. I asked for it cooked and when I I there, I only had to wait 5 mins. We got the family size and it was perfect for the 4 of us. Can't wait to try other varieties!

Used to be my favorite pizza ever. I don't know if I ordered the wrong thing or it was different people cooking but it was not good not to mention it got me and my kids sick with diarrhea all night. I don't know if it was the pizza or the wings but that's really all I had all day yesterday and my kids. 55$ for pizza and wings and added toppings. If I try again I'll remember not to get the club pizza

This is a family owned business that has a personal level of service. They make you feel like family and the pizza is delicious. I love going to Dean's. They can make you pizza ready to eat or for Take and Bake.

Great pizzas, fresh ingredients, sizes run small compared to other pizza places, and prices are high.

This is probably best pizza place around here, not bad for the price of fresh pizza and it's always super tasty. Either take it home and cook it when you still have groceries to put away or get it cooked right there!

Seriously Deans is hands down the best pizza in Turlock. My husband and I have been eating their pizza for literally years and have never been disappointed. Not only is the service great, they're fast, they support local youth programs and they use fresh ingredients. Seriously bomb diggity. Anytime you order anything as "extra" they do not scrimp and you get your money's worth. I almost hate to leave a review, because I don't want them to get busier, but c'est la vie.

Wow, this is most concerned business owner in Turlock! He callled mme back very soon after my review to apologise for the misunderstandings on not asking for verification of both address and phone number. He offered to provide free pizza on my next visit. That kind of service can't be topped. I still recommend Dean's for the best pizza and. Service in Turlock. I've already been back several times, to my complete Satisfaction.

It's just me. I ordered one of Betty's gourmet and wow I could only eat half. The delivery to the hotel was quick and easy, only thing missing was napkins. Forgiveness given, i'ld do it again.

First and foremost, the staff here has always been top notch! We had some food delivered recently, we have a new baby in the house, and when my delivery gal arrived I had a baby crying and dogs barking. My delivery gal was so patient with me. The foods hit the spot as well. The gluten free pizza has always been the best in town. I have never had any reactions to it. Thank you for taking the time to consider people with Celiac. Thank you!

I have ordered from Dean's countless times and have always been very satisfied. However, once it takes an hour and a half to deliver us a pizza that isn't even cooked... Forget it. No explanation was given to us when we called to check on the order once it was an hour late. We won't be ordering from them again. I should also add...our order was placed midday on a Wednesday!! Not during peak hours.

We had Pizza, Salad and the potato wedges. The bacon potato wedges were the bomb! Pizza was really good and the salad was wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants good food and great service.

Great pizza - not so great service. Called on a Wednesday a few weeks ago around 430pm and was on hold for almost 15 minutes before I eventually hung up. The last time we ordered they said it would be ready in 30 minutes but when we arrived they said pizzas hadn't been started yet and we had to wait an additional 35 minutes with no compensation or apologies offered.

We had Dean's Pizza today and we were not disappointed! We had the avocado club, pesto chicken sandwich. The pizza was really good, I was a bit skeptical because of the avocado but it was delicious. The chicken pesto sandwich was even better and always a favorite. The potato wedges were alright. I would definitely recommend Deans!

Best pizza I've had. The only reason why it doesn't have 5 stars is because I've seen, on multiple occasions, several employees either not wearing a mask, or wearing it below their nose.

This place has the best pizza in Turlock. The pizza tastes like it was homemade by the Italian mother you never had but always wanted. Their delivery is always prompt and the pizza is always cooked perfectly. It has always arrived hot and it costs less than most pizza places in Turlock. We even ordered our pizza as take and bake one time and when I followed the baking instructions, it tasted just like it did when it was pre-baked and delivered. Every experience I have had with their employees has been positive and professional. They all just sound happy to be there. Dean's pizza sets the flavor bar pretty high so if you decide to eat there, plan on never wanting to get pizza anywhere else. #DP4Life

Man, the pizza is great, but while paying I've watched (a few times, I'm embarrassed to say) the food prep folks unmasked, ungloved, hair flopping around, grabbing toppings and spreading them on the pizzas... totally gross. Even in the old days before covid the school lunch preparers wore gloves and tied back their hair in hairnets. I need to find exceptional pizza like Dean's but with some basic hygiene rules.

The Pizza here was better than going to a local franchise. I tried to get delivery service but they said it would probably take to long and that it would be faster for pick up. I order their meat pizza and really enjoyed it.

I feel bad leaving this review but my first time ordering here was disappointing. The staff was friendly, I give them that but the food I received was disappointing . I ordered the 15 piece buffalo wings, first, they didn't look cooked all the way and second they were dry, didn't really have buffalo sauce so they were basically plain wings. I wish I would've seen them before I got home, I didn't feel like driving back. I would've liked for them to have remade them at least :/

Dean's is always delicious and I have always experienced great customer service. However, today's customer service was sour. Total appetite killer. ( Matty or Maggie) definitely needs to be talked to or maybe this position just isn't for her.

The pizza didn't look like much when I received it but that all changed when we cooked and ate it . Definitely more flavorful than Papa murphys . But also much more expensive . 20+ dollars for a large where as the one at Papa Murphy's is way cheaper; and remember this is a pizza that you take home and cook . I don't think paying 20 for that is fair.

I have Celiacs Disease and this pizza spot is phenomenal!! It's my first time eating out in a year and the woman who answers the phone was so kind and patient and assisted in answering all our questions. When we got there, the man at the window was so sweet and literally read the ingredients to the ranch dressing for us to make sure we were safe. I really appreciate their patience and kindness and for going far beyond in customer experience! PLUS the pizza was fantastic! Thank you!!

My kids absolutely LOVED this pizza!! Thee ONLY reason im not giving it 5 stars is because the guy at the register was on the phone for about 35 minutes and the line was out of the door. When i stepped up and asked someone if they help him, all the workers just looked at me. I then said, can i just pick up my pizza? And then someone got me the pizza ive been standing in line for 35 minutes to pick up. ALSO, they dont wesr gloves. I watched like a hawk before ordering to see if one of them fixed their hair or rubbed their face or anything and they didnt. BUUUTTT I really feel like they should wear gloves and hair/facial hair covers!!!! Other than that, the pizza was better than little Cesar's and wayyyyyy better than pizza hut (yuck!)!! I got a $10 gift card from my boss and i am soo happy i did!! We will definitely call this our #1 pizza go to place in turlock!! Thank you Deans!

Pizza is fantastic. It's not your typical pizza almost a home made touch to it. Get a a specialty pizza and call it a day. Service is always top notch.

Excellent pizza taste great! Very busy but it's worth the wait! New ordered thin crust with 3 toppings. It was made in error with only 2 toppings. They quickly remade & gave the 2 toppings that was made in error for free! Best tasting pizza . They have a take & bake which I may try next time!! Good job guys!!

Dean's is Turlock's best take n bake pizza just in front of Papa Murphys. The crust and sauce is excellent. I've always order their pizza to go and bake at home. One of my friends the other night showed up with a baked pizza in a box and I did not know where it came from. I took a bite of it and had to ask " where did you get this most excellent pizza". It was a baked pizza from Deans.

We love this pizza place! The ingredients are always fresh and the customer service can't be beat. Even when they mess up (which only happened once), they quickly fixed it and made our next visit special. Also, I really like that they have a decent gluten free crust available.

Although you an option to have your food cooked, I preferred to take and bake and Dean's is consistently the best. Many options available, price is fair and employees are polite.

This is just not my favorite pie. It was mediocre at best. I would have expected more given the back story and the price.

I have lived in Turlock my whole life and Dean's pizza has been #1 until now. I dont know if they sold it and it's under new management but it's at the bottom of the list. The ingredients are not fresh and the crust sucks. I can go to the store and by a frozen pizza that taste better. What happened to the orginal Deans pizza?

Hands down the best take and bake going in Turlock. Tremendous BOGO deals via fundraiser booklets. Lots of awesome choices, plus fast delivery if that is your option!

Absolutely the best take'n'bake in Turlock (or anywhere that I have tried). Better than most of the full service pizza places in town. Great crust, sauce, toppings, and cooking instructions. When it comes to pizza, the sauce and crust are the most important thing for me! I am surprised there are not more reviews on this restaurant as it is a time tested favorite of Turlock locals. They have even survived moving the business across town (which must be why there are two Yelp pages for it).
