Firstly, we visited on a Saturday in August and it was manic for parking! Very difficult to find a space but eventually one in a car park going out of the town. Lovely promenade with a film actors theme. We were doing a flying visit so didn't spend much time on the beach but it would be worth a return visit for that as it looked lovely with plenty of facilities.

Deauville Beach, located in Normandy, France, is a picturesque destination known for its elegant charm and refined atmosphere. The beach is renowned for its wide expanse of fine golden sand, colorful parasols, and the iconic boardwalk lined with art deco cabins. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, from sunbathing and swimming to sailing and horse riding. The town itself boasts luxury hotels, high-end boutiques, and gourmet restaurants, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and sophistication. Deauville's rich cultural heritage and its status as a prestigious seaside resort make it a favorite spot for both locals and international tourists.

Deauville Beach is a stunning destination that blends historical charm with modern appeal, and fantastic spot for families with kids on vacation. During my visit, I was captivated by the vibrant, colorful umbrellas that dotted the shoreline, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere. The golden sands and clear blue waters provided the perfect setting for relaxation and fun. The beach is well-maintained and includes amenities like clean restrooms and safe areas for children to play, which add to the convenience for families. Overall, Deauville Beach combines beautiful surroundings with excellent facilities, making it an ideal destination for a memorable family vacation.

A beautiful and large beach with plenty of sand. Even though it was a little busy it never felt like it was. If you bring your own food watch out for the seagulls. The children loved the beach and enjoyed collecting hermit crabs in the shallow waters. Near the beach there are small food outlets, restaurants and toilets some you need to pay 1 euro to use. The town is a short walk away with more shops and restaurants. There is a large sign that you can take pictures of with your family and friends. The parking is 50 cents per 15 minutes but there may be cheaper places to park but not sure. A good day out with the family!

Beautiful beach with many restaurants and cafes around. Its in a very posh area of France. During peak summer or otherwise too You can spot the rich and famous people of France and other celebraties. The restaurant on the beach itself are super expensive. The town area is a bit less expensive compared to the beach front. However some spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Great location to spend a relaxed day on the sand and enjoy the sunshine. The water is very cold so wouldn't recommend swimming as water temperature is around 12-15 degree even in peak summer. The enticed town has a very relaxed and calm vibe to it. It gets really crowded starting June till end of July. Plan accordingly. Best would be to have a picnic on the beach with your family or special someone. 🏖️❤️🏖️

Nice beach. Plenty of bars and a ton of resourcing space.

Deauville Beach, also known as Plage de Deauville, offers visitors a picturesque stretch of sandy coastline that is perfect for leisurely strolls and relaxation. During my recent visit to Deauville, I had the pleasure of spending a day at this charming beach, and it left quite an impression. One of the unique features of Deauville Beach is the mini bungalows that line the shore. Each bungalow is adorned with a star name tag, reminiscent of the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. This touch of glamour adds a fun and playful element to the beach experience, allowing visitors to imagine themselves in the shoes of the stars.

Yelp
Kids and I had a couple of wonderful 2 days at this beach. One day, we got an umbrella and 2 chairs for 20 euro and one day we just plopped down by the water. The only problem with the umbrellas is that they are far away from the water, so I could't be relaxing under an umbrella while the kids were in the water. The tide goes way out in the afternoon so it feels like kids are miles away. The breakfast was ridiculously expensive but we took the baguettes left over to the beach for lunch later. I think, we were the ONLY Americans in Deauville, which was nice but the fact that I speak zero French, made it interesting. LOVED the colorful umbrellas and the people watching. Kids and i also had fun playing mini golf. There was also horseback riding, an Olympic size pool...
