Great place, we has so much fun! We ordered beers, buffalo wings and some french fries (delicious and the right amount of crispiness). Our server was really great, fast and patience since we were a big party and the place is loud.

Sides and apps were generally better executed than the mains. For example, the steak is about what most people can cook at home. Which would be fair at 40$, but here its 50+. The mains in general are about 10$ more than what they deliver. The apps on the other hand are exactly where they should be for a restaurant of this caliber - the tuna poke especially was incredible. For about 100$ a person, I’d say it goes in the category with steakhouses and other upscale options for when you want to hit one decently fancy place before you leave. For that role, I’d say its a decent mid tier option. 7/10

We stopped for dinner and cocktails on a Saturday evening. The place was decorated well, with very Deco modern interior. Sleek lighting and contemporary booths. The acoustics made it a bit challenging with all hard surfaces and little sound absorption. The service was great, with delightful descriptions of cocktails, wine and food. The food was a bit of a let down, following such in depth descriptions of it from our server. The lamb chops were seasoned well and cooked perfectly, but could have benefited from better cleaning and removal of excess fat. The sweet and spicy chicken sandwich was over cooked, but flavorful. The Elote was delicious. Overall, it was a standard to above par experience. The food and cocktails were slightly high priced, but to be expected in Vail.

We wanted to do dinner and bowling but ended up only doing dinner because we didn’t have a reservation which obviously was on us and not them. The restaurant was nice and the service was really good but I was a bit disappointed in the food. I initially ordered the sliders but had to ask them to take it back because it wasn’t as flavorful as I expected. As a replacement I got the ribs which were amazing even though I could’ve done without the peanuts. Most of the dishes we ordered were just ok, nothing amazing, but overall a good experience!

I've always had good food, drinks and service here. Been about 20-25 times over the past several years. Had the pleasure to talking with one of the managers for a while when business was slow, really cool guy. The bartender and other employees said what a nice guy he is. It makes a huge difference when the people that work there actually like the management and their job. Restaurants can be hit or miss sometimes around here but deca bol seems to always provide good service and atmosphere. Also thank you for building an actua real bar, most restaurants around only have a few seats for the bar. This place has a huge bar with tons of seating so if you are OK with sitting at the bar there's almost always a space which makes it an easy go to spot.

We came as a girls night, the food is a little pricey and is not a lot more like appetizer size, the service was ok took a little long but overall not super dissatisfied, they could for sure do a little better with how they charge but it’s Vail so what can we expect! I will say the short ribs sliders was missing some seasoning or salt, the meat didn’t taste like anything at all.

Never going back. I usually don’t right reviews but thanks to manager Josh our night not was ruined… We booked this reservation a month in advance for my husband’s birthday. We booked dinner and bowling after. When we booked we called to verify everything was good and we called again 3 days before our reservation. We have 2 young children that were super excited to bowl. When we got there they said they couldn’t find our reservation for bowling only for dinner. Got past all that which our kids were super upset about which was super fun taking to the manager about. You can tell the manager Josh had 0 sympathy or heart. Next they stuck us at a table in the middle of the floor when multiple booths were open. When I asked if we could go to a booth they said no yet people that say after us at a booth wanted a table and they switched them? Next I asked if they do anything for birthday and they don’t..no candle no nothing…From the moment we walked in they made us feel VERY unwelcome. To top all this off they put that we “canceled” our reservation on open table so I couldn’t leave a review so here I am on google warning people before you plan your entire trip on this dinner/bowling.

Eat, drink, bowl n repeat. Huge place. Cocktails are great. Service is courteous. Food is great. Love the salads. After you eat you eat, work off the meal by bowling. There's a bowling alley in the back of the restaurant. We were also here for the NYE party! Omg too much fun! Great music. We danced all night long.

My friends and I were so excited to dine at Deca + Bol on our first night in Vail. We had a great first impression because the hostesses were so nice. We declined drinks because we were trying to avoid altitude sickness and drink as much water as possible, and our waitresses demeanor completely changed. Maybe we're used to southern hospitality, but clearly she hated our guts. Everyone enjoyed their meals. For appetizers, we enjoyed trying the burrata and meatballs. For mains, we got the New York Strip, chicken caesar salad, the wedge with steak, and grilled cheese. The steak was a bit chewy, but otherwise everything tasted pretty good. So, if you don't mind being treated as an inconvenience, you'll love this place.

Excellent drinks and service at the bar. Second time here and it just delivers, nobody would suspect there is a bowling alley inside as you cannot hear it at all. Great atmosphere.

We came here on NYE with their pre-fix menu. Everything was delicious. I had the butternut squash soup, and their dressing on their house salad was yummy. My favorite thing of the night though was the lamb lollipop. I don't have the words for how delicious it was. Our server, Adam, was also amazing. He checked in often and was really observant. Thanks, Adam!

I sat in the bar with a friend and had the charcuterie plate, and Caesar salad. The portions were actually very large. Super good. I'll come back. The margarita was just okay.

Well, we didn't get to taste the food because we decided to leave before ordering. The attitude of the staff sets a new low! We were told that they only had inside seating but seated several families who just walked up. Okay, fine. We were seated and then the server came to ask us for our drinks. We ordered and she walked away with such an attitude, we felt like apologizing for disturbing her. Then my husband attempted to pick up the menu and the empty glass resting next to it somehow tipped over and shattered. A piece of shattered glass cut my husband's hand so badly, he started dripping blood. Meanwhile, the server and the hostess were standing around and staring. No "Are you okay? Can we help you?" One of them came and offered a bandage and told us that we can move to a new table. At that time, we left. To the staff, if you are reading this, being polite is free, smiling is free. Not sure how the food tastes but don't expect much hospitality at this place. Note: Food is only checked under "What could improve?" because we can't figure out how to un-check it.

Very expensive for the potions but the food is good. I mean $25 for three small street tacos? Only in Vail...

Service here was sooo slow, and when our food did come out, some of the meals were missing! Also confused why we had such a long wait to be seated, because when we were seated the restaurant was basically empty. I feel like I wasted a night out in Vail by going here. Luckily, staff realized how badly they messed up and we got to bowl for free.

I was skeptical going in based on previous poor reviews but I must say, we were pleasantly surprised! Located in Solaris complex with indoor payed parking lot attached. We came between Xmas & New Year's eve & could only get a 9 pm reservation since it was only reserved the same day. Would recommend making reservations at least a week in advance. There were zero bowling alley slots available for days ! We were seated with courtesy & our waitress checked in on us in timely manner. The ambiance including music is very upbeat. Several TV screens playing various sports in background. Started with Buffalo wings which were perfectly spiced & juicy. I tried the half chicken with mashed potatoes & baby carrots. Chicken was on par, succulent & flavorful. My husband had the NY Prime steak with broccoli which again didn't disappoint. Hoping to come back and try some bowling the next time we're in town.

We had a group event here and it was awesome. The set up and vibe was perfect. We had college football on the screens above the bowling lanes. Most our our group bowled, we all chilled, and everyone enjoyed the food. We had a variety a wings to start. We ordered the rest of our food from the catering menu. The true definition of good food is when you're full but you keep eating. This place fits that definition. I had to roll myself out. Let's talk about the bar. FANTASTIC selection of spirits. Also, great pricing on highly coveted spirits. I won't quite priced as they can change, but 100% not what I expected to find in Vail. This is a super cool place to hang out on the weekend or have dinner. Love the concept they have and what they are doing.

This place is a joke and it's no wonder there are the number of 1 and 2 star reviews. Every year they announce reservations being available for the holidays but then they block out the entire last two weeks. It's probably a way to gouge people who in for a reservation. I hope this place goes out of business just like the movie theater did!

We've eaten here twice and loved it both times. I'm surprised that it's not rated higher here on Yelp. The atmosphere is a little clubby but both times our service was professional and attentive and the food was outstanding. The dishes include both shareable and mains, with a variety of options. We order a lot and sample. The poke is one of our favorites, as our the lamb lollipops. We will be back for a third time on our next trip to Vail.

This was a spot we visited for dinner + bowling after. The food was shareable and the vibes inside were great. A very chic space & very clean. Drinks & food were good too!

I will just list what happened to explain my experience 1. Ordered salad and didnt come 2. Server gave attitude and said its because we ordered as appetizer and not starter 3. Both appetizer and starter passed and everyone getting entree and then salad comes after 1.5 hrs. 4. Now the entree and sides did not arrive. 5. Server gives attitude and says we didnt order when she even confirmed her order prior. 6. Never got beer after 2 hrs 7. Took away food we are still eating without asking 8. Gave us sides we never ordered 9. Missed other starters as well The only redeeming quality is the manager that tried his best to make it right which is only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1

The chairs were crummy, the boys bathroom was gross and their was piss all over the floor, and Jimmy was rude

Had a great dinner at Deca tonight! Started with the Buffalo wings smothered in garlic parm sauce. So good! Also enjoyed the empanadas which were tasty. The best part was the terrific cocktails made by our server, Brandon. He recommended the Reuben which my husband loved. My daughter liked the Buffalo chicken flatbread and I loved my Winter greens salad with blackened chicken. Everything was delicious. A great place to add to your list. Bonus - a cool bowling alley in the back of the restaurant. Enjoy!

I'm a Vail local and this is my favorite restaurant in the valley. AMAZING vibes and even better food!My go to dishes are the short rib and berry picker salad. The servers were so accommodating + friendly (we had light bites while bowling and then sat down for a full meal afterwards). Fresh food, upscale atmosphere, and social vibes with lots of people there. 10/10 would recommend!

We got to the restaurant and we're not greeted by any staff. We ordered drinks and were never asked if we wanted food or even a menu. The servers never asked us if we needed anything and continued to stand there as we asked for the bill. When we did ask, they didn't give it to us. We had to ask 2 other servers and eventually got it. When we asked they were very rude and blunt. It was very time consuming for just 6 drinks and we weren't aware of the 20% up charge for 6 or more guests as it wasn't advertised anywhere. I would not recommend

My friends and I came in to grab a late dinner and it was nothing short of fabulous!! Every single thing we had to eat was phenomenal and the atmosphere was so fun. We really enjoyed our night and will definitely be returning for more menu items! -- Very fun and friendly staff that made our night so fun....s/o to James at the bar!

They split our booth/table of 4 adults next to a group of 10 young kids and 6 adults - apparently the party maximum of 6 didn't apply to their party. The adults stood in the back & had a gossip sesh while the kids were left unsupervised in the lane - leaning on our screen, pushing the buttons, doing handstands in the lane, rough housing each other, taking our water, putting their grubby greasy kid hands in our bowling balls (side note; it's not easy to bowl with chicken wing grease in the holes). Spoke to the manager, a young man that had a flippant attitude & totally did NOT care about anything we had to say. No refunds because he "can't do anything about the past." Expected a way better experience after spending $400+ there. My advice would be to go later in the evening (we could only get reservations at 4:30pm) so you don't run the risk of parents treating this place like a Chuck E Cheese/social hour.

I had the most amazing time with my friends here. We started the night with a fun activity of bowling. Bowling had the latest technology with additional games you could play like angry birds. Then had the most amazing short ribs of my life. Also had the arancini and Cesar salad which were amazing. The service was super friendly and quick. Definitely will be back here.

Poor service, waiter didn't come to us the whole time and was very rude. Very very rude.

I love this place. I come everyone I'm visiting vail. We weren't able to go bowling because it was very full. Highly recommend if you're trying to bowl during the holiday season to make that reservation in early December.

If you want to be totally ripped off... then by all means go bowling at Bol. Family of 4 average cost with food and 1 hour of bowling if you book ahead is almost $600!! And the food is over- rated high end theater fare.

Our server Stephanie was the goat and gave us great food recommendations - charcuterie, tuna poke, and braised short ribs. All of it was delicious, but I wish we got the lamb lollipops too (per recommendation.) Wings smelled amazing but didn't try. Highly recommend!

We had a 7:15pm reservation on NYE. We enjoyed dinner, dessert and after dessert we ordered 2 cocktails. The waiter refused saying "we are having a NYE party and we need to add more decorations and these people coming paid big money for a ticket to get in." RIDICULOUS. When we walked in, no one mentioned this at all. I guess we aren't special enough even though our bill was $500. I will NEVER be back and it's unfortunate because the food was really good.

We took a group here after a soccer tournament. I called a month ahead to make the reservation and was not given any information regarding their inability to do separate checks or that they would be automatically adding gratuity to the bill for the group size (10). I tried to work with the server to order through him instead of going to the bar but he was extremely rude and simply replied that the system couldn't do separate checks and left it at that so I group ordered directly from the bar. When I received the bill, they charged gratuity on the bowling (no drinks or food). I think I've complained at a restaurant maybe twice in my life but why would I pay gratuity on the bowling? That's literally what I paid for - shoes and bowling, there was no service involved. When I said I wasn't going to pay it the server said 'that's your right' but then very rudely blamed me for him not making any money that shift. I then asked to speak to a manager and was met with same rude attitude and echoed that I was taking money away from the server. I guess they expect that if you're in Vail you tip for just being there, not for actual service. The staff there was truly the rudest I have ever encountered. I would NEVER go back.

We try to come here every time we are in Vail. We love the vibe and energy of the place. Great for my whole family. The food is fantastic. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the options. Especially, the roasted cauliflower and grilled cheese! Definitely, the most upscale bowling alley I've ever been to. Highly recommend!

The best lunch we had during our 4 weeks in the area. Very tasty and inventive treatments, especially of the vegetables.

we started our evening with bowling and enjoyed the charcuterie and bbq pizza. the selection of cheeses and atmosphere was excellent. the bowling alley has an integrated gaming experience and the kids were able to play the angry birds version which they found quite entertaining. After bowling, we had dinner at Deca and my favorite dish was the short rib. It was succulent and melted in my mouth. overall, we had an amazing experience and Deca/ Bol had something for everyone in the group.

Expensive. Mediocre. Those two dont go well together. Sliders were mediocre, wao bao ihung were disappointing, however the lamb lollipops were a for sure winner.

Don't go here, and don't think of calling for take-out or for a reservation. They were extremely rude in two separate occasions. First time we were told they couldn't take our order and that we should try calling again in 20 min. After a couple days we decided to give it another shot, they straight up hung up the phone on mid-sentence.

Was skeptical to go here after seeing some negative reviews, and in the end I really should have listened. I will say I really enjoy the aesthetics of the restaurant, but that was the only thing I liked. Our water glasses were very hot, so of course my water was warm, who like warm water?! My friend has a dairy allergy and they couldn't take the cheese off the surf and turf tacos, our waiter did not even attempt to go back and ask if it was possible. We decided on the edamame hummus which was decent, definitely over priced, and we were not given enough pita bread. We asked for more and we're charged extra for the 4 small pieces of pita. With a place this expensive you would expect it to just be free. We both got the airline chicken, one piece was good and the other piece was wayy too tender and just didn't seem cooked enough. Our waiter told us it was fine, but we have both been having stomach attacks all morning. All in all, we should have just paid the 50$ cancelation fee on open table instead of giving this establishment our business. Overpriced and subpar.
