We stayed at Delfines Decameron in San Andrés Island for six nights and had a disappointing experience. The all-inclusive claim is misleading—food options are very limited, and snacks are only available during specific times. Drinks being included was the only positive at the bar, but even this was frustrating during meals. Drinks were not available at the buffet, and you had to request them from waitstaff, who typically took around 10-15 minutes to bring them. This issue was not limited to Delfines Decameron but was consistent across all Decameron hotels we visited, reflecting a chain-wide problem with poor service. This often meant eating cold food while waiting or simply going without drinks, making the dining experience unpleasant.||The room was dirty, with termite damage in the furniture that wasn’t addressed for days. The hotel is located downtown, making it very noisy at night as there are no soundproof windows. The staff was unhelpful, and the facilities are old and poorly maintained.||Although the hotel claims access to five other Decameron hotels, this access is restricted to 11 AM–5 PM, after which guests are asked to leave. Reservations for lunch and dinner at these hotels must be made very early in the morning. These hotels are also poorly maintained with unfriendly staff. Additionally, guests are required to pay a deposit for towels, and if towels get wet, they won’t be replaced at other hotels in the chain, they say you need to go back to your own hotel and change it for a dry one, even though they are exactly the same.||Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I strongly advise against staying here.

We only dined here. It is a nice, chic boutique hotel. Nice little pool, the sea pool needs up keeping when the sargasus comes, but not as great as the Aquarium natural pool.

If you’re only reading the first sentence, here it is: DONT STAY HERE! |Los Delfines is hardly a 2 stars hotel. Hotel property is poorly maintained. Rooms are extremely small, outdated, in desperate need of repairs and renovation. We were accommodated at room 223, where the air conditioner wasn’t working properly and condensation drips flooded the sink right beneath it. Bathroom amenities were nonexistent. Three hair conditioners and no soap or shower gel. Shower didn’t work: almost - REALLY! - almost no water flow (I have videos) and no hot water. The room telephone was not working, so we couldn’t call the front desk to complain. There’s no sound treatment, so we slept by the sound of the competing songs playing on the street bars and restaurants. As it rained at night, we woke up to a flooded room. At this tiny room, with no place for the luggages, we left them on the floor. Only to find out that the room was flooded and our stuff were soaking wet. Restaurant is a mess. Terrible service. Worse food. And they lie when they say it’s 5 resorts in 1. You have to make reservations to use the other hotel’s restaurants, and the app doesn’t work. It was a nightmare! Felt like in a terror movie. Booked for three nights and checked out after the first night. Bottom line: don’t even think, don’t go there.

Don’t stay at this hotel. Bathrooms and surroundings are not clean. Sheets have stains, the bathroom had a snot on the wall and it feel gross to just enter in there. Lamps are old and broken and curtains have stains. Regarding customer service, the hotel personnel were not helpful until we demanded to speak with the manager. Food quality is average. I was so sad to see how Decameron has changed and it was for bad.

This is a nice hotel. it has direct access to the sea where you can swim but no beach which is not a big issue because it is just meters away from the main San Andres beach, which is great. it has a good swimming pool good for children.||||The rooms are nice, clean and with a nice view, especially those on second floor of the centre.||||Decameron offers all inclusive plans which means you dont have to pay for anything else. it offers very good buffet breakfast (with eggs and other items cooked on order) and the lunch and dinner are in a beautiful front sea restaurant which, different from other Decameron hotels, is never a buffer but prepared when you order. Snacks and drinks are also free. All yummy.||||The entire personel was very kind, warm and helpfull. The all really merit a mention because they have been wonderfull. A++!||||It is a good hotel for families and we have enjoyed staying there, the only point a bit negative is the location... it is a great location, close to shops, bar, beaches and amenities but this come with the price that it is a bit noisy during the night, fortunatelly not the entire night but still untill late.

Bad: No wifi. If you come before three o'clock, you cant use the facilities, even by 10 minutes. The food and juices are horrible, we went each day to other places just so we wont eat in the hotel. Part of the staff is lazy, part are very nice. The rooms don't have good sound proofing so you can hear everything. Good: nice view of the ocean.

At first this waterside hotel looks lovely. With a sparkling pool, pool bar, and a small restaurant that is over the crystal clear waters. But not so much.||First the check in - The flights to the island arrive early. Our flight from Cartagena arrived at 9:30. We grabbed a cab to the hotel. I knew we would not be able to check in this early but wanted to drop the bags and see what we could do. We had to wait till 11:30 to get a wrist band so we could enjoy the 'resorts' 'amenities". Like the pool, restaurant, bar. Lunch not bad. A choice of sandwiches and salads. ||||The Bar - The ONLY thing that was drinkable was the beer. The mixed drinks all tasted 'off', and don't try the wine. Not sure what it was, but I can't imagine something that horrid coming from any kind of grape. ||||After checking back with reception several times we were allowed to check into our room at 4:00 PM. A room that we had seen being 'cleaned' several hours prior. First the check in process was sooo slow. Not sure why it couldn't have been done while we waited and waited 5 hours but so be it. You have to sign and swear that you won't steal anything including the tv, remotes, pillows. Don't forget to pay an additional $6 for a key to the in room safe. And welcome to your all inclusive resort! Just check out the pictures. I have never experienced a hotel room so gross. Almost everything was stained. The bed linens were thankfully fairly new. I asked the reception for 2 additional pillows since the ones in room were so lifeless. She would only give us one - because all of the others were too worn/dirty to give out.||||Tried to visit other decameron locations for dinner - after going thru hoops to make reservations at the other Decameron location - we were only allowed to eat in the pool snack bar. Not my idea of a luxury property in any way.||||Overall there is no way that I could recommend this property. Nice beach near by, crystal clear waters, but not the immersive, relaxing holiday i expected.

Unfortunately I had a pleasant experience. Supposedly staying at the Decameron allows you to go to any of their hotels on the island and use their amenities or even make reservations for food or simply just enter. Throughout the week we stayed at the Aquarium but we would frequent this location since it was closer to the beach. And after loads of hydration we would need to use the washroom so we would enter and as always just enter use restroom and exit. But yesterday security guard named angel got really rude and started yelling at us to leave even after we showed him our bracelet and told us we were not allowed. Left a sour taste since at our hotel I asked if this was a problem and they advised us it was not and we shouldn’t have dealt with this issue. I would never stay at this specific Decameron ever.
