"Deception Pass State Park is Washington's most visited state park, offering a range of outdoor activities and breathtaking views from Deception Pass Bridge. The park includes two adjacent islands, Fidalgo and Whidbey, and is known for its watercraft launches, coves, craggy shores, and old-growth forests."

Beautiful scenery the color of the water I had never seen before. The water moves fast and the green scenery is magnificent. Park get out and walk the bridge.

SURPRISINGLY, I was able to get parking at the main parking lot off the side of the road right before you get on the bridge. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there was only 3 parking spots left. Anyways what a beautifully constructed bridge with an amazing view. There is a really steep trail to head down by the beach to get a better view. Ughhhh I love Washington

Deception Pass State Park is a true Washington gem! The dramatic bridge over swirling waters is the highlight—walking across it offers stunning views of cliffs, islands, and fast-moving tides below. We also enjoyed trails through lush forest, rocky beaches, and peaceful coves. Great for a day of hiking, picnicking, or just taking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Don’t miss sunset from the bridge—it’s unforgettable!

Epic views! Loved this quick stop on the way to Anacortes. Saw a bald eagle, a seal swimming under the bridge, and enjoyed the walk across the bridges

If emeralds were liquid this is what they would look like. So beautiful! Fairly busy place. Lots to look at. Worth the stop. Saw lots of wildlife too!

An absolutely beautiful drive down from Bellingham, hike, and view! Lots of spots to climb but plenty to see from the trail if you prefer a less precarious path

Always a beautiful place to hike. If you have a discover pass you’re good to go just about parking anywhere. Otherwise you may need to be careful where you park. Rocky beaches with some sand, very peaceful. Bridge is awesome.

Parking at the north beach is perfect if you want to go down to the water. Worth the $10 day pass for sure! It’s beautiful and perfect for a picnic. Photos just don’t do it justice, a must see. Bathrooms in parking lots
