Google
Great place to spend the day, especially at the Joypolis! Plenty of food options, shopping, and entertainment. If you need to cool off from all the Sega craziness, head to the beach!!!

Retrosuperfuture! Cool place to walk through and chill. Outside view of odaiba marina is grand especially on sunset.

Oh, what a fantastic mess of crazy this place is. A bit too crowded for my liking but otherwise great! There’s food, there’s shopping, there’s even like half of floor-worth of kids area for them to play in a you’re a parent and want a minute of as breather. There’s the LEGO discovery center, an area that looks like an olden shopping street, haunted house and Madame Tussauds, which was a bit smaller than I’d like it to be but it had Becky and Beckham too, so all people worth knowing with names starting with B. :)

Google
Good spot for taking pictures of Rainbow Bridge, 4 storeys high Gundam statue and can peek Tokyo tower. But shops are not quite enough for shopping sprees.

Google
Great spot for food and some gaming. Restaurants, shops snd there is a great Retro arcade we really enjoyed, a hunted house, Legoland, wax works and a large indoor theme park/ arcade. We had other things also planned and wish we had more time, you can easily spend all day here and it rights by the beach/water front with great views. Fuji centre and observation deck are also right next door, though it was closed when we visited.

Google
Great place with excellent locals to get some retro souvenirs and have a good time with family and friends. It also has locals to get anime figures at a great price. You can find a good food area in the place.

Yelp
A real eccentric collection of retail here! We primarily came here for animal cafe called Animeal -- which we immensely enjoyed the dogs, cats, capybara, and assorted collection of furry friends. I couldn't really categorize this mall to be high end or low end but there is so much activity here! Shop for shoes? Yes. Go game? Yes. Go back in time on the 4th floor? Hell, yes! The 4th floor has a retro arcade and other interesting places to visit like a trick eye museum and haunted house (?) and eventually, the Takoyaki Museum which is basically a collection of takoyaki stalls. Other floors have restaurants and retail. If you are in the area, swing by!

Yelp
We came here before on our last trip to Japan and since it was only a few stops down from the Toyosu area, we got off to walk around. This is a very eclectic mall and if you come during the day, the view of the harbor, bridges, and surrounding areas are awesome. The mall itself has a huge variety of stores, restaurants, and activities for the family. We found it a little hard to navigate the 1st floor exterior where the eateries are, but we managed. If it is your first time, make sure that you allot a little space into your schedule so you don't have to rush.

Yelp
This is one of the main shopping centers in Odaiba. They offer amusement parks, shopping restaurants, and of course the Takoyaki Museum! It's basically a shopping street with lots of cartoon octopus's looking at you with the strange eye! I like this shopping center as it's not something you'll see in the states and has a lot of heart and soul. Most of the locations in this mall are not free, but a lot still is. I wouldn't say this is the best location to shop in Odaiba, but it sure makes for a weird experience. Give it a shot, even if you don't spend a lot of time here.

Yelp
Tourist trap. This is not the place to come for anything other than charging your phone or camera battery pack when you need it. Most of the people here do know some English, but you are surrounded by foreigners or business men who work in the area. The prices are higher than the usual, and on top of that you don't want to buy these items created just for tourists. If you want cheesy t shirts with English words saying ODAIBA or something along the lines of fake Japanese imitations, here is the place to be. This is just the impression I get. You can come see it for yourselves, perhaps I am missing something...

Yelp
I loved the Decks. It's two shopping buildings connected together in Odaiba with spacious wooden decks overlooking the water. They have an indoor amusement park complete with rides (wish we had time to check it out), Legoland (only for kids and their parents/chaperones), Madame Tussauds wax museum (we skipped), and my favorite, the Tokyo Trick Art Museum filled with interactive optical illusions. The Decks also has many fun shops to browse through for traditional Japanese souvenirs. I bought my coin purse here and it's proven very handy throughout my Japan and Hong Kong trip!

Yelp
This is one of the three major shopping complexes in Odaiba. Things of note are the Legoland Center, Joypolis, and the takoyaki museum. The Legoland Center, Joypolis (gaming center), and another museum here aren't free though. In addition, the takoyaki museum isn't a museum, but a place where there are lots of octopus ball vendors.

Yelp
Decks is another one of the shopping complexes that lines the Odaiba Water Front and has many stores, restaurants and theme parks. It houses, Joypolis (renovated in 2012) Legoland, Madam Tussauds and a trick art museum. I think you can spend a full day in Odaiba and not get bored. Decks and Aqua City are the malls that I end up shopping most at, but Decks is most fun because it has the delicious and famous Bills, and the best entertainment/amusement complex of Joypolis. It's a great place to come with friends, make it a date night, or even come with the family. Kids (from every age) can have fun at Lego Land to Joypolis. Definitely plan to spend a few hours at this mall!

Yelp
Better than Venus. Worse than DiverSity. At least they have the biggest (and cheapest?) Daiso.
