Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype or the Price
I had high hopes for Deep Blue Hot Springs, but it turned out to be a major letdown. The whole experience felt more like a tourist trap than a relaxing retreat.
The pricing is steep for what you actually get—overcrowded pools, limited seating, and very little privacy. Despite promises of a tranquil atmosphere, it was noisy, and the “quiet zones” were not enforced at all.
Facilities were underwhelming. Some pools were either scalding hot or barely warm. The changing areas are cramped, not gender-separated (no dedicated male/female change rooms), and not particularly clean. The strong chemical smell made the whole place feel anything but natural.
Amenities were cheap and basic—definitely not what you’d expect for the price. The “sea view” room is just a pretext to overcharge; there’s no real added value. Parking costs an extra $10 even though it’s just an empty lot.
To make matters worse, the staff were disinterested, unhelpful, and even chased us down toward closing time to vacate the premises—completely ruining any chance of a relaxed end to the visit.
For what you pay, I expected much more.
