Marsa Alam Diving Center | Deep south-divers PADI & SDI

I spent a week in Marsa Alam in November, doing 14 dives in 6 days, and I enjoyed it every day. I found a perfect weather and a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The dive instructors were helpful, kind, and professional, and in case of sick (hopefully u don't need), they had a first aid kit and oxygen. I saw many colour fish, reef sharks, pufferfish, stingrays, parrot fish, moray eels, and turtles. I liked that the dive groups were small because you could easily interact directly with the instructor and ask questions if you needed them. I recommend the dive school; I'll be back to get the advance certification!!! can’t wait!!!

This diving experience was absolutely amazing! The seawater was incredibly clear and beautiful, and the whole team created a very welcoming atmosphere. A huge thank you to the instructors—they were truly professional and responsible. They patiently taught us all the basics, explaining every detail clearly, which allowed us to grasp the essentials in a relaxed and confident state. Once in the water, the instructors stayed close by, always watching over us and offering guidance and assistance. That sense of being cared for throughout gave us complete peace of mind. We were taken to a dive site that was both safe and stunningly beautiful, where we saw colorful fish and coral—a truly unforgettable sight. As a first-time diver, the whole experience was fantastic—thrilling yet enjoyable, with no tension or discomfort at all. Thank you so much to the dive shop for the well-organized trip and to the instructors for their hard work. This was a perfect and wonderful memory! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try diving!

I just finished 13 dives / 5 days with Deep South. I had Seba as my instructor/guide the whole time - He quickly adapted to my skill level and personality, making sure that every dive was a success, both enjoyable and rewarding, developing essential skills to build confidence for more advanced underwater adventures. Completing the SSI deep diving specialty felt natural and safe; while experiencing the pure immersion of the ecosystem. The dive shop was extremely hospitable; helping me set up my new regulator and dealing with my annoying yoke setup ;). We finished the week with a super special night dive which I would highly recommend. I’m happy I chose to dive with Deep South and I plan on returning next year! Thanks for the great time 🙏

I wholeheartedly recommend Deep South Divers! I completed my SSI Open Water course here, and I can truly say I became part of a real diving family. I had the incredible honor of being trained by the Big Boss himself – Muhammad. His patience, professionalism, and passion opened the door to an entirely new world for me. He was the one who showed me that you can actually “fly underwater” — a feeling of absolute freedom underwater. I also had the pleasure of diving with Seba ❤️ an outstanding professional and passionate who speaks beautiful Polish, I was really impressed! During our boat dives, I felt completely safe and cared for. His calm guidance made every dive feel effortless and joyful. We had so much fun! And then there’s Monia – a true volcano of positive energy! She radiates passion for diving, and it’s impossible not to catch it from her. In fact, the entire Deep South Divers team consists of genuine enthusiasts who live and breathe the ocean. Their love for the underwater world is contagious, and being around them makes you fall in love with diving even more. This was an unforgettable experience, one that touched me deeply and will stay with me for the rest of my life. I cannot imagine choosing a better place to begin my diving journey. I am truly grateful for every moment, every breath underwater, and every person who guided me along the way 💙🌊🤿

I dived with Sheetos, one of the best dive guides in Marsa Alam, and had an incredible experience. The team at Deep South Divers gave me such a warm welcome and took amazing care of everything — from diving arrangements to making sure every dive felt safe, smooth, and unforgettable. My main dream for coming to Marsa Alam and diving at Elphinstone was to see the Longimanus (Oceanic Whitetip Shark)… and Sheetos made it happen. On every single dive, he managed to find Longimanus and show it to me while keeping divers calm, safe, and fully present in the moment. It was beyond anything I expected. He also organized extra trips for me — to Dugong dive, Dolphin House, canyon dives, and more — making the whole trip feel tailored and special. I highly recommend Deep South Divers to anyone diving in Marsa Alam. They are very professional and awesome team to dive with. I’m already looking forward to coming back and diving with them again. Truly an unforgettable experience.

I had an amazing experience at this diving center as a complete beginner. The instructors were patient, professional, and reassuring, always taking the time to explain everything clearly. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, which made learning to dive even more enjoyable. Over the days I spent there, I gained confidence and truly fell in love with diving. Therefore, highly recommended for beginners!

I only wish I could give them more stars. These guys are awesome and very professional! I did my Advanced Open Water with them over 3 days and 5 dives. Everything was handled very well. I highly recommend them if you want a good dive in Marsa Alam. Big huge boat, shore dives and small boats. They offer something for everyone no matter what your level. I'm very picky about who I dive with and do a lot of research. They might be the best I've dived with. For sure the best Dive Master I've had. Thank you all! Especially Mostafa. We spent three days diving with Deep South in Marsa Alam and had an excellent experience. We are AOW certified and comfortable in the water. We dove in late January during low season but still had good conditions and well-chosen dive sites. We completed shore dives at Marsa Egla, followed by Dolphin House including a cave dive, and finished at Elphinstone Reef. No white tips due to the season, but we did encounter a pod of dolphins!! Equipment was well maintained, and safety standards were solid, with oxygen and first aid consistently available. Special mention to our dive master, Youssef!! He gave clear briefings before every dive and was calm, attentive, and very professional underwater. One diver in our group had an equalization issue, which he handled smoothly and patiently. He kept a close eye on the group throughout, making the dives feel relaxed and well managed. A solid, well-run dive centre. Would happily recommend and dive with them again!!
