Deerfield Lodge At Heavenly

Our room was clean, the staff was friendly and it was a great area to access the Tahoe Strip and trail heads! This was our second stay here. A big plus for us is they are dog friendly! We had our two German Shepherd Dogs with us. They had a welcome basket for the pups with treats and towels for them and poop bags. They had a nice array of pastry items and coffee in the morning. The staff was friendly throughout our visit. We will stay here again!

Absolutely LOVE this boutique lodge. It was exactly what I was looking for and needed. A quiet garden like luxurious experience where my dog was not only allowed but very welcomed at the property. I had the king room with the spa tub that allowed for full relaxation after a day of hiking or water sports. It was so nice to enjoy a quiet morning of devotions and meditation on my patio. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive to any needs I had. All the guests were so friendly. The room itself was comfortable, accomodating, and met all my needs. I will definitely be returning.

Self check in and the room was spacious! The electrical fireplace was super cool although it’s a lil loud. The bathroom was sparkling clean with makeup remover wipes (wow!) and everything you need! Loved the interior design! Oh did I say the staff was awesome? It’s definitely a great place to stay near Lake Tahoe.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and spacious. Loved the fireplace for the heat and ambiance. Nice location far enough away from the busy downtown. Loved the back patio area to sit and enjoy the beautiful June weather. Had a nest right outside our door with a beautiful bird 🐦 sitting on her eggs.

The rooms were beautiful and clean. I felt so comfortable sleeping here. I enjoyed the snacks in the room as well. The grass area outside had hammocks between the trees and a grilling area that my family and I did use. Our room had two bathrooms, both had a shower and one had a massive tub with jets. After a day of hiking and bike riding, that tub was like magic to my aching bones. We enjoyed our stay greatly and should we ever return to Lake Tahoe we will definitely be staying here again. Cannot recommend enough.

Great location and service! We were greeted by the sweetest clerk when we checked in late (around 6pm). When she found out that my husband and I just got married, she gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. So nice! She also gave us many suggestions about nearby restaurants. The room is adorable and very clean. The fireplace is the heater. There is a kitchenette with complimentary snacks, water and coffee. I was very happy because the bed is comfy and the shower is awesome! We only spent one night here but I wish we could have stayed longer!

This lodge was excellent and I would go back in a heartbeat! We stayed in one of the suites. It was clean, cozy, and had a charming balcony view that made me want to linger. Our room conveniently had a washer/ dryer for washing our clothes after a day at the beach. There was a kitchenette where we could store leftovers too. The check-in/out process was essentially contact-less and overall we felt the hotel did a great job endorsing social distancing/ sanitizing etc. The lodge is pleasantly quiet, tucked away from noisy Lake Tahoe Blvd, and we slept so well. There are great dining options just a short walk away. Can't wait to go back!

Second time my wife and I stayed here. Both times we had our miniature schnauzer with us. It's wonderfully updated and the rooms are nice. This trip we stayed in the King One Bedroom which was great because we could hang out in the living room . The grounds are lovely and the inner courtyard is a nice place to chill or walk around with the dog. 3 gas grills are available but we didn't use them. Very easy access to anything in South Lake as well. We will certainly stay here again. Not sure if we would stay anywhere else at this point esp if we have the dog.
