Highly recommend!! Everything is vegan (a few smoothie items have honey). Vegan empanada was delicious, made with whole wheat, pumpkin and lentils. Smoothie bowl had fresh fruit and was sooo good. Really loved the “back in balance” smoothie. Ingredients are fresh and food is out of this world. Highly recommend!

We stopped here after zip-lining and loved it. Definitely a nutritious and refreshing stop. We got all three smoothie bowls and loved them. My husband got the funky monkey smoothie and loved it so he actually grabbed a Run Through the Garden juice on our way out. I wish I had more pictures to share but we ate those bowls before I even thought of it. They were so pretty. It’s mostly covered, open air patio style seating. There was a young family enjoying the veggie burgers and chips. They had a baby with them and seemed very comfy at the table. The staff was so friendly. Highly recommend.

The place is indeed is amazing and also only Vegan place in town except they have Honey (You guys can easily switch to Agave Syrup or Maple Syrup as they are vegan and honey is not). The people are extremely sweet. We tried 4 dishes here but it was all okayish. Maybe cause u have had really good Vegan Food. We ordered : Veggie Burger - 6/10 Lentil wrap - 5/10 Empanada - 4/10 Pink Tide with Banana and Chia Seeds topping - 4/10 Well! They have a lot of scope to go up on their taste, but well, this is good Vegan Spot in town till then.

Quick stop for breakfast before heading to the National Forest. Parking in the area is a bit hard, but totally worth the effort. Food was great! Especially the Mango Magnifico bowl! They have a super cute jungle area with seating in the back.

Excellent food. Our family stopped by on the way back from Rain forest. Its the best vegan restaurant food I have ever tried in PR. Must visit… we tried about 7-8 different entries, 6 Juices/Shakes. Everything was amazing.

I’ve had 100+ smoothie bowls while traveling, and Degree 18 Juice Bar might be the best. Perfect texture, rich flavors, and fresh, high-quality ingredients you can taste. The vibe is fun, laid-back, and welcoming, making it the perfect post-adventure stop. If you love smoothie bowls and juice, this is a must-visit. 10/10.

Visited en route El Yunque National Park. Parking is in the street. Excellent vibes. Has a wide selection of bowls smoothies juices and a few vegan food items to choose from. Staff were so welcoming. Loved it here, will visit again!

My wife got a parcha smoothie very refreshing. I got a acai bowl with coco flakes and honey, it was absolutely delicious. Staff was great, very clean, pet friendly I recommend!

This is a great place to stop on your way to or from the rainforest. My family loves smoothies, and these are top level!! Their smoothie choices are filled with local flavors, real fruit and healthy add ons. We each loved our smoothie! We also got the coconut energy balls, which were amazing. They're very similar to a peanut butter healthy ball we make, so it was a nice treat.

Super Super good açai On our way to Fajardo we stopped here for a snack/lunch and they were really fast and great!! The bowls a pretty deep so don't be fooled I shared mine with my toddler snd he LOVED them and I still feel full. The smoothies also looked really good so if you are around the area please do stop here!

I was looking for a fresh treat on the island! Degree 18 Juice Bar was just that. They have a large variety of juice, smoothies, smoothie bowl and a few meal options as well. Their juices and smoothies will run you about $8.75 per item. There is plenty of street parking and plenty of seating. The smoothies we got were fresh and delicious and I appreciated the plastic free packaging. The restaurant is animal friendly and they had a kitty that was hanging around. I will definitely be back again on our trip to PR!

Literally the best smoothie place I've ever been to -- this place has the BEST ambiance and most delicious bowls! My friends and I stopped in for a refreshing lunch/snack after a hike at El Yunque. I was craving a smoothie/açaí bowl and this definitely satisfied my craving! I got the pink tide and added peanut butter and kiwi on top. They were so generous w the peanut butter! I love that you get to pick 2 extra ingredients. The smoothie bowl was the thickest, smoothest consistency I've ever seen in a smoothie. It was seriously magical. Like dig your spoon in and it leaves a dent kinda thick. You probably don't need to read a paragraph of me raving about this smoothie, so I'll just leave it at this: so refreshing and flavorful, huge portions, worth every penny!! The ambiance here is absolutely amazing too. Super cute tropical themed decor. It's almost like a little smoothie shack outdoors with plenty of seating. And great music too! They were playing Still Woozy and that's when I knew I was in love w this place. Friendly and quick service too. Highly recommend checking this place out! Had such a great experience here. Easy 5/5

Best acai bowl anywhere! Perfect for either a quick stop or spend the afternoon enjoying the vibe. Always enjoy the back garden while your order is being prepared. They also have a limited, but delicious selection of vegan grub, like lentil wrap and vegan empanada. And the team that owns/works here are amazingly kind and welcoming. Always our 1st stop when on the island.

Such a wonderful find on our daily excursions. Exceptionally friendly staff and incredibly well crafted vegetarian/ vegan offerings. The dishes are all prepared fresh and made to order. Fun and eclectic fresh fruit additions to make each meal a star. Wonderfully casual in line with the island culture. Outdoor seating with plenty of shade, things to keep kids occupie (chalkboard, books) and HAMMOCKS! Clean and well appointed restrooms. What's not to like about this place. If I were an island resident, this place would be on my list of repeat places to eat. Did I mention HAMMOCKS?!?

After all the mallorcas and breakfast sandwiches we have been eating on our trip, we were craving something healthy and refreshing before heading to El Yunque. I got their açaí bowl and my husband got their mango smoothie bowl. Both were made fresh on the spot and were SO DELICIOUS. I don't like when açaí bowls are liquidy, and this one hit the spot since it stayed mostly solid despite the heat. Street parking was easy, they have WiFi, free filtered water, and a clean restroom. If we were staying around the area we would definitely come back here again.

I loved the açaí bowl with the berry finish and toppings. I especially liked that they gave an option to add organic protein which made it a lot more filling and complete. I also liked the lentil wrap but I wish it was a little less salty and had more flavor. Most of all, I really enjoyed the ambiance and the energy from the servers who greeted us and recommended us amazing options.

Absolutely love this place! Every time we go to Puerto Rico it's a mandatory stop! Smoothies, juices, food, everything tastes amazing and everyone is very friendly.

After a long hike in el Yunque, Degree 18 is just so perfect and refreshing. The smoothie here is so fresh, sweet, and delicious cool treat. It's an outdoor area with large fans and nice art murals around the walls. While this establishment is vegan, there are food truck options right next to this place. Everything is made to order, and ordering was a breeze. We got the purple haze, tropical sunset, and banana strawberry twist. Honestly, I wanted to try all the other 7 smoothie options because they sounded so good. Base is coconut milk, almond milk, or orange juice. Almost all options have banana in it, and many have interesting items like bee pollen, chia seeds, and hemp seeds. Finally, the environmental consciousness of this place feels nice too. Glass jars and metal straws if you opt to drink there.

We only got food. The veggie burger was sold out. We got the other options (lentil wrap, empanada, and hummus plate). The wrap was great. Hummus was good. Empanada was ok and would not get again. We sat in the back garden/open area as there was no room in the front. It was a nice relaxing area. There were hammocks available to lay in also.

While visiting El Yunque National Forest, my family and I were looking for a good place to fuel up after a day of hiking. 18 degrees juice bar was the perfect place! We ordered the hummus board for the table. So fresh and flavorful. I ordered an acai bowl with banana, granola, coconut flake, and peanut butter toppings. So delicious! The outdoor seating area was cool. They played 80's music on the patio while we were there. All of the employees wore a smile on their face. I would too if I worked in a place like that! Great food, service, and ambiance. Check it out for yourself!

This little cafe was was the best find for vegan options in the Luquillo area. It's an open air cafe with lots of seating options. All of the food and drinks are made to order and super fresh. I had the Pink Tide smoothie bowl with granola (I asked if it was made with honey and was told it was not), no bee pollen, blueberries, banana and almonds, which was very good. We got the hummus to share for the table, it was some of the best hummus I've had. It was made fresh to order and served with tortilla chips and carrot sticks. Definitely worth a stop for lunch or a snack!

Love this place, delicious wholesome food and conveniently located just outside of El Yunque. The smoothies, açaí bowls, and veggie burger are delicious. Service is super friendly and I love how eco friendly they are with their to go or for here options. There are nice clean bathrooms and their garden patio offers many little seating options here and there to enjoy your meal. 10/10 would recommend and I will always visit when I'm in town.

We all got some fresh juice smoothies, and it was so fresh and delicious. The service is quick. Everyone is so kind. The setup feels like a hut. The backyard is filled with fruits and trees it's amazing. I highly recommend their smoothies.

Service was quick, and helpful. Got the Funky Monkey Smoothie, tasted like a Reeces Peanut butter cup if they were healthy. Very Beachy, and Chill atmosphere.

If I could have eaten here every single day while I was in PR, I would have lol. On our first day here, we tried the açaí bowl. The next day we came back and tried the mango smoothie bowl and both were absolutely amazing!! My husband and I were able to share the bowl. The fruit tasted super fresh. They even have a mango tree in their back seating area. There are quite a few tables to choose from. It is all outdoors but there are plenty areas where you can find some shade. They have restrooms. Street parking is your best option. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!! Best smoothie/açaí bowl I've ever had :)

I love this place so much! The smoothies and acai bowls are better than any smoothies or acai bowls in California. And I love the lentil wrap, super delish! If you get an acai bowl, granola and almonds come with it, then you pick 2 other toppings. I highly recommend making parcha (passion fruit) one of your two toppings. This is fresh parcha and it it's delicious with the acai. Simply an awesome place for everyone! And don't forget to enjoy their beautiful garden in the back. Buen provecho! .... and their kitty is very sweet.

omggggggg The food is delicious here. Great service and cool vibes. Really nice outside shady seating area too. Food was quick to arrive and really tasty. We came here after a visit to the National Park, and it did not disappoint! Easy street parking was bonus. Cannot wait to come back!

Stopped in for acai bowls. Looks like they offer lunch as well as smoothies. They are good size and are priced around $12 each.

Based on reviews, we thought we'd stop in... Unfortunately, never received our drinks. After waiting 30 minutes and seeing another group who arrived after us receive their drinks, I questioned them. She said, ooops, I gave them your drinks, and these are theirs." They were willing to make them... however, I've never waited more than 10 minutes at ANY juice bar for a drink. That being said, observing their processes: They are very antiquated. Have an iPad, but still writing orders in a notebook without associating names. Also, they do not prep any fruits or juice. If you want to take the chance of waiting over 30mins for a juice or longer, this is your place...

Your BEST spot before or after any visit to El Yunque Absolutely loved everything about this place. Atmosphere, music, food, cute cats and super sweet ladies at the counter. We ordered the veggie burger, pachalicious smoothie and hummus plater. I was so happy to finally order a veggie burger that wasn't just black beans thrown together with quinoa. I typically hate veggies burgers, but thank you Degree for changing my mind! For sure the best veggie burger I've ever had! Flavorful with a slight crunch in certain areas. Hummus arrived in abundance with a side of delicious tortilla chips and carrots. I was not expecting homemade hummus, but what a pleasant surprise. The warmth from the hummus was a clear indicator that it was just whipped up in the vitamix. The pacha (passion fruit) smoothie was ridiculously good. This smoothie is also made with pineapple and banana but the taste of the passion fruit really shines through. Loved it! I will be stopping by again and again when I am on the island. See ya soon! *Be sure to ask for a small sampling of the hot sauce with your order. You won't be disappointed- both options were spicy, sweet and an excellent accompaniment. Say hi and give the kitties a little rub. They're the sweetest and don't pester you for food.

The food was amazing! I 100% recommend their empanada and veggie burger - both were so amazing, and unique! The smoothies are very very fresh and delicious. All staff is very friendly and service is relatively quick.

It's all outside. They do not except American Express here either. $15.33. Grabbed a costa azul, added kiwi, blackberries, honey, peanut butter, bee pollen and banana. Paged me for the wrong order. Order took way too long for our Uber driver waiting for us. I did ask for peanut butter but they have me almond butter, not my favorite at all. The açaí bowl was about average. A dock down for not giving me what I asked for. Added cost for add-ons but rather skimpy in what they gave us for ingredients. The açaí smoothie was okay, not as rich deep purple as I have had before. For the price, I expected more.

Great place to stop right near Yunque! Great for before or after some hiking. They have smoothies, acai bowls and a small hot menu as well. Personally I enjoyed the purple haze smoothie as well as their vegan wrap. Was great for fuel and I felt great.

I loved this place and they had great gluten free options. Some of the fruit was local from their property and I found out I love parcha!!! Everyone was really friendly and they played great music! Park a few stores down in the dirt parking lot. Tip: go sit in the back in the graded seating.

We stayed in Puerto Rico for a week and a half and found the food to be exceedingly heavy - rice, beans, plantains, and a ton of greasy fried meats. Good sources of fruits and veggies seemed much harder to find (outside of our daily Pina coladas), so I'm glad we random drove across this place on our way to El Yunque. Their acai bowls are a good price ($10), and include a blended fruit/acai/milk/toppings base, 2 default toppings, and 2 customizable toppings. The people were super friendly as well so if you didn't like a default ingredient I'd guess they would allow you to customize. Portions were definately larger than I expected. Tried the Mango Magnifico and Berry Bueno - both were amazing and a well needed and massively desired burst of vitamins and fruit.

My mango bowl with passion fruit and kiwi was incredible. $10. More oats that I prefer but one of the best bowls I've had. The mango and passion fruit are sourced from PR. The acaii bowl was good but recall that acaii is not traditionally sourced here, so it'll be from the frozen packet you can get back home as well if you're from abroad. Local or visiting, $10 for a very generously sized bowl with fantastic seating on a pretty day.

We were in Puerto Rico for our honeymoon, stayed at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar and stayed there four days. We struggled to find good vegetarian food and breakfast food and this place was GREAT! It became our go to for lunch and breakfast. They had smoothies, acai bowls, and veggie burgers. We had the veggie burger for lunch and it came with chips and love it! Good enough portion. I ordered the tropical sunset smoothie however when it came, it came in juice form. I thought it was still good so didn't say anything. Five minutes later, the waiter came to give us an apology and the smoothie I ordered for free. Also, had an acai bowl for breakfast another day, and also was great, good size! They have outdoor seating and indoor seating. Outdoor seating was beautiful, in a garden behind the ordering area. Highly recommend for any vegans, vegetarians in the area!

Thee most delicious acai and fruit bowls - so much so we had to stop their three times during our trip and will be each future visit. It's a super clutch stop before or after the beach. Everything was beyond fresh with hefty portions. Each staff member was sweet and helpful with answering any questions we had so it was an enjoyable experience through and through.

The most refreshing and healthy spot in the Rio Grande area! After spending some time on a nearby beach, we went here to find some smoothies and açaí bowls. It was perfectly refreshing and they had a wide variety of ingredients. I added almond butter, granola, and some local honey to my açaí bowl and it was great, especially with the garden setting. The staff were extremely personable and helped us find some local activities to do in the area.

Staff is super friendly and welcoming. They were quick to provide tips and answer questions for our travels while in Puerto Rico. The juice was delicious. The entire menu was tempting. They serve vegan food, smoothies, juices and açaí bowls. Conveniently located near El Yunque National Forest.

Hard to know where to start. Great vegan food. Made-to-order hummus for example. Lovely place--very informal. Outside under roof. Best of all the outstanding staff. So friendly and accommodating. Especially good for kids, including board games for them. We came here twice!

We have been talking and thinking about this place ever since we left and would be back on the daily if we stayed closer. We came after having spent the whole day trundling around El Yunque and needed some nutrition and refreshment. We found that and more at Degree 18. Their smoothies are incredible and perfectly balanced in flavor and consistency. The one with passionfruit and honey is probably in the top 5 best smoothies I have ever tasted. The acai bowls are hearty and soothing. Their hot food is impressive as well. I'm not vegan (just maybe 70% vegetarian) but I am dying to try to recreate their savory satisfying lentil wrap and their veggie burger. It is all so satisfying you realize you do not miss the animal protein at all. And it is not lacking in flavor!! You can really tell from the vibe of the place, to the way the seating area is designed, to the amazing food, friendly staff, and even the fruiting plants tended to around the restaurant, that this is a place run with love and passion.

Delicious smoothies, homemade kombucha on a shaded oasis in Puerto Rico surrounded by gift shops, local art work and other restaurants. We came early morning and had a very relaxing time.

We had been looking forward to coming here for weeks before our stay in Rio Grande, especially because we heard the place we were staying at had really bad service. This was highly rated by locals and foreigners alike, their portions looked healthy and fresh, and everything looked tip top. Pros -- the bowls and smoothies are in fact really really good, and plentiful. You won't feel like you're cheating at all, and your body will thank you. We had the Purple Haze, Costa Azul {acai base}, Pink Tide {strawberry base}, and La Maquina Verde {spinach and ginger base}. The fruit is fresh and well-blended. Cons -- the service was quite horrendous...they had four people working (no one with a mask on), and while there were quite a few orders to make, they still somehow managed to take 45 minutes to make 3 bowls and 1 smoothie...At one point, one of the acai bases had already melted before they created the rest of the bowl, leading to a sad gloopy mess. Moreover, the cashier was quite unapologetic when she got one of our orders wrong. I told them I ordered the bowl with "kiwi and honey" (in that order) to which she replied, "I wrote down 'honey and pb' {peanut butter}". At that point, I was too annoyed at the wait to try and argue that they fix the error, but they didn't try to ameliorate or make it right at all. Lastly, this place was expensive compared to other places of comparable quality - we had four items from a food truck of similar fare, and they took all of 7 minutes to get everything out at 2/3rds of the price. Tl;dr: Really fine place to come if you have time to spare, but the long wait and rudeness left a bad taste in my mouth.

This is quaint little place hidden down a street of run down homes and other shops. You'd never guess it was sitting right there until you walk right by. Once inside, it's all outdoor seating. The food is really good--but it's funny because you can see that all their ingredients (or most of them anyway for the smoothies and bowls) are from Costco. Their smoothies are made in a vitamix. Overall, the smoothies were really delicious. We tried the veggie burger which came with what appears to be Boulder City potato chips (again from Costco). The burger was good! It had this almond "cheese" spread that was unique. I wish it came with fries...lol. Great veggie and vegan options here.

I loved this little hidden gem, the setting was so cute and was such beach side vibes. It was right by the El Yunque rainforest which you can go to on the way out. The people working were so nice and would make the bowls pretty fast and bring it right out to wherever you are sitting. The bowl was amazing and i loved this place so much. i highly recommend if you are in the area. I got the berry bueno and added honey and almond butter and it tasted amazing. i've never had an acai bowl this good.

I love this place omg. this is a def place you should stop by if your in the area. the setting is so cute and is a hidden gem. such local vibes. the people are so nice and patient. the best acai i've ever had. i got the berry bueno and for the extra toppings i added almond butter and honey. it's right next to el yunque and i highly recommend on your way out. the price aswell makes the bowl worth it since other places will give you way less for around the same price.
