On short notice was able to take on my nephew hair and re-twist his dreadlocks was amazing. He love it’s so much that he wants to take really good care of his dreadlocks. Thank you.

This Salon is great and I've been coming here since it opened. The best part to me is that they do natural hairstyles. It's a local black owned business that is currently working to encourage and empower new stylists learning the ropes.

My first time was a great experience. I was relaxed and work on in a timely fashion. The work areas are clean. They take your temperature as soon as you walk in and let you sign in. I will be recommending this salon to everyone I know. Everyone is very friendly and informative. Great place to get your locs done. They do everything here. Just ask🥰

10 starts for great customer service, great energy and a great stylist. I had. Nadia and she knew everything I needed for my natural hair. It’s such a gift when you find someone comfortable doing natural hair and she did a great job from detangling gently to the skilled trim, to a quick and effortless flat twist that I couldn’t have done that near or fast. Glad to have gotten her after De Lux hair salon on Fulton st shut down. This will be my new spot. Very happy with the service

I can’t say enough great things about this salon. The ladies here are well educated and informed on all kinds of haircare, and on all hair textures. I was in the salon receiving knotless braids from a visiting stylist but… while sitting in the salon I witnessed the stylists there do amazing color, rod sets, relaxers, loc retwists, silk presses, haircuts, and box braids. These ladies are extremely versatile, personable, knowledgeable, and polite. Also, the apprentice, Sheena, gave me the best shampoo experience of my life. I felt uplifted and seen in this space. Thank you for an amazing salon experience!

My daughter has an upcoming sweet sixteen party today and I sent her to get knotless box braids based on the Yelp reviews. I am convinced that Mateya took advantage of my daughter given that she was 16. Because there is no way if I had accompanied her to the appointment that she could have left with her hair like that with a whopping charge of $185. I will pay any price to have my daughter's hair done as long as the person does a good job and this was horrible. She claims she used two packs of braids. Seems like she used only one. The braids are thin at the beginning and at the end looks like strings. There are some very thin tiny ones in the back. My daughter has a thick head of hair and these make her look like her hair is extremely thin. I am completely and utterly disappointed. My daughter this morning wants the braids out of her hair which we are going to take out.

Every time I go I get amazing work done to my hair. I have been coming since August 2020 and I've never been disappointed. Nadia is amazing at her job. I don't even think that's a strong enough adjective to describe her talent and attention to detail.

Got knotless braids by Matoya that I love. She braids fast. Even better, she washed and blow dryer my hair. They also pretreated my hair. All I had to do was show up and relax. The shop is beautiful and the owner was nice.

I am a long time customer of K. I've had color correction, two strand twists, braids, locs, etc. I always receive compliments on my hairstyles. Hair care is number 1 along with excellent customer service. This is the place for natural hair.

Kahlida has been doing my hair for years, and I trust no one else the way I trust her. She takes the health of your hair into consideration and not just how it looks. Natural hair is her specialty, whether you want it flat ironed, twisted, in an updo, or locs. She's an excellent colorist and super creative with styles. People stop me on the street to ask about my styles and color all the time. The salon is neat, clean, and welcoming. I can't give a higher recommendation!
