Del Campo al Norte

If you are in the area you must stop by here to eat. The food is very delicious, their drinks are so amazing and the prices are very good! I had the squid with mofongo and it is the only restaurant where I would eat the squid from in the area! Its one of my favorite dishes from here! My second favorite is El Coqui which is different meats on top of a mofongo which I also highly recommend!! If you dont want mofongo, you need to try their arroz Mamposteado!! Even though all the rices are delicious, the Mamposteado rice is just on another world!!!

I was fascinated by this place. I don't usually give reviews, BUT I take my hat off to this establishment. Excellent service, fast service, and the food was absolutely delicious! Fair and affordable prices. I'll be back soon! I give it an A++

The restaurant has plenty spaces of parking. It has an indoor dining room and an outdoor terrace. The decor is very cozy and pretty. The waiter served us very kindly and attentively. The drinks are varied. The appetizers of mini "alcapurrias" and "bacalaitos" are excellent. The food was also delicious. The mofongo stuffed with mahi-mahi, "mar y tierra", ribeye, and fried pork with rice and beans. The dessert was cream brulee, very delicious. I recommend it to everyone if you're in Hatillo or the surrounding area.

Delicious! We ate La Cordillera and it was beyond expectations (Please note the plate looks different as it comes with shrimp and my boo is allergic to shellfish. Therefore, the shrimp were on the side). My boo and I loved it. Affordable prices with shareable plates. Their birthday celebrations are top tier. I bet when they have more staff it’s another level when celebrating your birthday. I felt just like home, where we celebrate you in any milestone. Puerto Rico es otra cosa! Amo a mi isla y a nuestra gente.

Service was amazing. Attentive, explained everything we had question about, pointed out when we could safe money. Food was good and really more than we could eat. Watch out for that, the size is quite a challenge.

Do you want to eat the best "churrasco " on the island? Del campo al norte is the place. Excellent portion, tender, excellently cooked! I had my skirt steak with fried sweet potatoe, delicious😋. The other guests also had skirt stak and BBQ ribs. Their momposteao rice is outstandingly good!! The " mofongo" superb. They also have a great selection of alcoholic beverages! Highly recommended! My place to go as soon as we arrived on this pretty island 🏝!

Full stars for me they did great! Food was delicious and the service was great they where very nice.

We were greeted at the entrance and guided to our table promptly. Our waitress Yailing, so nice and diligent described the dishes so we could do our choice. The food was hot and fresh from the kitchen. Great flavors, and textures. Very well cooked, accessible prices. Oh, And if it's your birthday they'll sing birthday song al son de plena. Loved it.

Good authentic Puerto Rican food. Good drinks. They have a bar. Nice demographic mix of customers. Older, younger, families. Pleasant atmosphere. Portions were bigger than expected. Plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend and stop in again if I'm the area.

The food was excellent taste. Came out fast and nice and warm. This was a great hour of the day. 2pm on a Monday. The waitress Rita super sweet and helpful. The ambiance was great, calm, clean. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were hungry and stopped by last week. They were about to close but seated us anyway. The food and service were great, and we are on our way back, shortly...

Still loving this spot a year later!! They made a small mistake: I asked for mofongo de yuca and received regular mofongo. Not a problem. They brought out a mofongo de yuca for me and sang "happy birthday" in Spanish to my daughter who turns 8 tomorrow. Such a friendly spot. A lot of young people work here but as per usual, amazingly friendly and humble.

Horrible Churrasco!! I had never had such a soft and greasy Churrasco in my life! I told the manager and she said it was because it was marinaded. I'be had marinaded Churasco before and never had that textur, flavor and greasiness!!

Nice restaurant with really good food. My family and I had dinner at this restaurant and were very pleased. The mofongo was amazing and the waiter was nice. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because we waited a long time for the food, even though there were only 3 occupied tables. No complaints otherwise.

Ordered Chillo (aka red snapper) with sweet potato fries and a salad. It was very tasty. The presentation was phenomenal too. The best way to have it with garlic butter. Recommended for all seafood lovers.

Food was really good, I will give them that. The waiter was nice and attentive. The only thing that was a bit shocking was the price of each entree when you compare it to the restaurants ambiance. Is $18-$25 average for an entree a lot? Kind of, but when the atmosphere is incredibly casual and you're drinking out of plastic cups and using paper napkins then yes, there is a big sticker shock. Portions were a bit on the smaller size. My $18 shrimp dinner can with 7 shrimp and I was still hungry once I was done.

Restaurant and bar with great ambiance. This place is spacious, has good a/c, TV, covered patio outdoor seating available, and clean bathrooms. We had the vegetable mofongo in salsa criolla, rice and beans, French fries, frappe de parcha and a mojito. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff were attentive and super sweet. Amazing service. Great experience. Would return.

OMG!!! Awesome food! We started with the sampler and mini alcapurrias.... A must try! Bacalaitos are yummm. We also tried different versions of mofongo... each better than the other. Very happy with the experience and very grateful to Rita, our server, she is helpful, accommodating, patient and the best! I cannot forget about the parcha mojitos... first one was gooood.... Second one was DELICIOSO! Thank you Rita for making our experience so great!

El volcan del campo wow so delicious. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and i must say the food at least what i had which it was el volcan del campo was so so delicious. I do recomend this place, the staff is very friendly.

A charming place with a rustic feel, but fresh flavorful food and drinks. This place was a great find, my family and I were very pleased. I ordered the mofongo with churrasco and it was full of flavor and delicious. My husband had the dufongo he's still talking about the flavors and how great it was, I agree, I had to sample his, right. Even my son's chicken strips and rice were a hit. Did I mention the dessert? Amazing!! We had the mango raspberry cheese cake, a must try... and I was serenaded for my birthday, this was cool and original. Overall, we loved it.

Worst experience ever. Waited over an hour for our food. We had a 21 month old with us to top it off. When I asked how much longer for our food to arrive, it was still 10 more minutes. I cancelled our food paid for our drinks and appetizer and left. If it was going to be that long, the server should have told us. It was our last night in Puerto Rico and I found this place on Yelp while we were on our way to San Juan. I was looking forward to having an authentic Puerto Rican dinner during our last night here. Thanks for ruining our evening and our last night in Puerto Rico.

We were not impressed with this restaurant. We ordered lobster mofongo and received dry mofongo with canned lobster meat that smelled. We also ordered chicken nachos the chicken was bagged frozen chicken. Totally disappointed to eat there while on vacation.
