The noise from the restaurant is insane, it's like a construction zone. I thought the hotel was being broken into it was so loud. People started literally screaming at 6 am, then they got a delivery, then they rolled all the metal tables outside starting at 7 while yelling back and forth across the patio. It's not a hotel, it's rooms inside a restaurant kitchen.

This hotel has the best location where it is close to all the major attractions such as the magnificent Guadalajara Cathedral. The rooms are clean and the staff there are very friendly and helpful. On top of that, this hotel has an amazing restaurant serving high quality and delicious food. They serve brunch buffet during weekends where you can eat all kinds of authentic Mexican food, as well as fresh fruits. It is also very convenient with all the shops, markets, pharmacies right next to it.||Our flight was in the evening, and this hotel offers late checkout with just a little bit extra charge. So we were able to stay at the hotel till late afternoon. This is a really good bonus.||Highly recommend this hotel!

Very cool flipped traditional building that has been converted into a hotel. The rooms feel authentic with a modern vibe, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it's in a central location. If you want to experience Guadlajara in an authentic way without giving up home comforts I would recommend the hotel. In terms of noise I would say it didn't bother us (we're in our 30s). If you're looking for adventure - to walk around the historic areas, go to restaurants, and have a drink at night - this is a great hotel.

I made my reservation for November 16 and 17th, when I arrived the hotel informed me they did had my reservation but they had given away my room to another person that arrived earlier and paid in cash. I was left at 7pm in Guadalajara with no hotel room, Staff did not even offered to help me find another hotel, manager refused to speak with me, I almost called the police on this hotel. I am a professional interior designer I work all over Mexico and this is the first time this has ever happened to me. Absolutely the worst experience ive ever had!!! A real nightmare...

This place is cute and very beautiful. It also happens to be an extremely popular food spot. We stayed for 5 days and this place (restaurant portion) was always busy- and I mean from the moment it opened until midnight. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, and in the evening, only guests of the hotel are allowed to eat inside- so noise is very low. ||As one other reviewer said- it is kind of like hotel rooms inside a cafe. But all the rooms are on the second floor and overlook the restaurant- so no one goes near your room as they have no need to go near or up the stairs. I never once felt worried about myself or my belongings. ||We’ve stayed in Guadalajara at many different hotels- you are always going to hear outside noise. But honestly it wasn’t bothersome or annoying. And I’m a light sleeper and hate being woken up. I was never woken up by the noise. ||Every room in this hotel has a theme, and they are all so cute and so different, and all inspired by an artist. The lady that runs the place was kind enough to show us some of the other vacant rooms and they truly are so cool and very artsy. ||The dining experience is a huge plus too. The food is amazing, and they literally have everything a restaurant would. ||The only slight disappointment was no pool. And the towels are kind of sandpaper rough. But not like so off putting you can’t use them. ||The service was great, the staff is great. The room was kept clean. ||If you’re looking for cute & different, I would highly recommend this place. It’s also near everything major you’d want to see. ||Would definitely stay here again.

About 6 rooms sitting on the 2nd floor of a very busy restaurant in a spanish colonial villa converted to a business establishment. Although booking websites claim that this is a 4 star property, it is far from it. The rooms are decorated to give a modern hip feel but whats lacking is the thought that should have gone into design especially when converting an old building. Lack of ventilation leaves the room musty (and even smelling of mildew !). We slept in a smaller room facing the alley on our first night because the actual master suite we booked did not have functioning AC. They had to call in maintenance and get it fixed b4 we could move in the next day. Although the master suite was much better than the room we slept in on our first night here (smell of mildew) , again lack of proper ventilation meant we had to keep the window open to let the moisture out. The wait staff are good and do try their best to make life easier. So kudos to them. Location is central to all things walkable.. ||||We had to find a copy shop to print our flight itinerary back cos the front desk lacked one. So, based on everything, this place is a 3 star at most. Given that the Hilton that's 5 blocks away and right in the middle of the centro historic square is not much more expensive than this place, I'd do that next time and just visit the restaurant in this building.

Pop music blares from the restaurant downstairs from 8 am-11 pm, and the setting up/tearing down of the outdoor portion is equally as noisy, metal tables scraping sidewalks, etc. From midnight to 7 am our first night, the staff had loud music on (I'm assuming in the kitchen) and were singing loudly to it until sunrise. It was impossible to sleep without both earplugs & white noise. During the day the music from the restaurant would have made it impossible to take a nap. We were glad we were there for only two nights since everything is open concrete and there is no noise muffling when you're in the room.||||The hotel and the rooms are really stunning and the food is quite good, but it's really not worth the noise to stay overnight. Even in a big city, there are much quieter places.

We have enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights. The rooms are well designed by local artists. The staff are very attentive. It is a convenient location to explore the City. The downstairs restaurant is good and we ate there several times. One complaint is the toilet bowl cleaner that is the initial smell as you enter the room.
