Dela Restaurant

We had a great breakfast at Dela. What an amazing vibe, they have done an awesome job with the aesthetic of the restaurant. My husband had the chicken thigh sandwich with crisps, which he’d give a 4.2. He likes a bit more seasoning. My eggs hollandaise 4.3 with chips, ( crispy potatoes) which were seasoned and flavorful. 5 out of 5. Our adult son really enjoyed the burrito! 5 out of 5. Being from an area with a lot of Mexican food, he would’ve preferred the salsa to be a little more seasoned or spicy probably. 4 out of 5. Overall, it was a win and we would definitely come back! Came here for brunch about half a year ago and had an enjoyable time. The food was delicious and served at a nice warm temperature. Portions were decent yet not too overwhelming and we left quite satisfied. The service and wait however did take some time; this was more noticeable at peak hours as some tables could’ve been filled quicker. Overall it was a nice place for a hangout or a relaxing brunch for those travelling in the area

Nicely decorated and lovely staff with quick service. Had the pancakes with bacon, syrup and berry compote. The compote was not nice, a bit tangy, smelled like it had aniseed or something in it, it just didn't go well with the bacon. I would forego this or ask for it to be in a ramekin on the side if you'd like to try it. The fat on the bacon could of been rendered down more, it was a bit chewy. The pancakes had a sponge cake type texture and taste. It was grand but I wouldn't get it again.

The Dela Veggie Breakfast was so delicious! The chickpea tofu was totally unique and one of the best meals I’ve had. The portions are huge, so you can split a meal and still feel satisfied. The coffee, atmosphere, and service were also fantastic. I’ll be back next time I visit :)

FABULOUS farm to table restaurant!!! We had an amazing brunch….bloody mary’s and flat white martini’s are a MUST😉 Grilled tiger prawns, chicken buttermilk benny, breakfast burrito, and eggs benedict was all fresh and so delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Found the cafe while looking for brunch in Galway while visiting from Canada. Dela is spectacular with the cutest atmosphere which feels like a morning at the cottage. Wooden chairs and rustic tables with exposed brick and the skylights above the dining area make it feel warm and cozy. The pancakes live up to the hype and are complimented with tart compote and sweet maple syrup. The eggs benedict was different, being served on toast, but excellent either way still being served with salty bacon and savoury hollandaise. The home fries were perfect. I highly recommend getting a coffee with your breakfast or some freshly squeezed orange juice (or both!) 10/10, great place to go if you're visiting Galway!

Had to wait 40 minutes to get in but definitely worth the wait! The food was very tasty and the service was with a smile. They even gave us 3 glasses of orange juice to apologise for the extended wait. There is a reason this place has a queue! Visit if you can!

Food was incredible! The mushrooms on toast was a 10/10. Service was a bit slow, we carried at 9:30 when they open and ordered at 9:35 but didn’t receive our coffees until after 10:00. The quality of service was brilliant too, they just need to anticipate the rush of orders slightly better :)
