My husband and I stayed here one evening to celebrate our anniversary. We needed a simple getaway and this was perfect! The staff! Out of this world! Everyone we encountered was very attentive and pleasant! The amazing thing about this newly built hotel is they offer complimentary valet as well as shuttle service into downtown! ( parking downtown can be difficult so this really comes in handy) There was also complementary continental breakfast. HOWEVER this should not be skipped they offer hot dishes as well! We also loved the free admission to the seaport museum as part of our stay! Rooms were clean and provided turn down service. We did not utilize the pool due to weather but looked nice. Our favorite part was sitting on the deck outside enjoying our desert cocktails. Thanks for the memories!

We just had a great 3 night stay at the new Delamar Mystic. We've previously stayed several times at the Delamar Greenwich which is very nice, but this hotel which is only a few months old exceeds expectations. The location right on the Mystic River directly adjacent to the Seaport Museum is exceptional with great views from the guest rooms, as well as the lobby, outside deck, restaurant, and bar area. The building design is beautiful and very functional as well. The room amenities are first class, including a Nespresso coffee machine in the room with real half and half containers, not fake "creamers" ( a pet peeve of mine at some supposedly first class hotels). Lastly, the hotel, restaurant, and bar staff are without exception both highly competent and very personable, everyone from the valets up to the hotel general manager. All great. We will definitely return.

We came here for our anniversary and had such a lovely time. Beautiful new hotel, great food and drinks. And welcome Prosecco, and had a box of truffles and card for us waiting in our room for our anniversary. Felt so special. The staff is so attentive and friendly. It felt authentic and genuine, especially Penny and the wait staff at breakfast (didn’t get their names). The shuttle was also a nice, convenient touch. We truly can’t wait to go back!

This is our third stay at the Delamar Mystic. A new hotel with only 36 guest rooms and a nice restaurant. The staff is excellent. Jillian at the front desk is a pleasure to work with. The complimentary morning breakfast is excellent with both cold and hot dishes. The hotel is located next to the Maritime Museum and provides complimentary wrist bands for entering the Museum's expansive grounds. As the hotel is located about a mile from downtown Mystic and Old Mystic village, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service which is great for going to restaurants. Located on the Mystic river, the setting is very scenic and relaxing. Highly recommended.

My husband and I spent a long weekend at the Delamar and had the best time! The accommodations are fresh, refined, and perfect for a weekend getaway. Its location is great, right next to the Seaport museum and far enough away from the noise of downtown. You can easily walk to downtown, or the shuttle service is convenient too. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the river, relaxing by the pool, the delicious restaurant, and the peace and quiet. We also brought our dog, who had a great time too! The staff was kind and helpful, and we left the weekend feeling refreshed.

We stayed during the soft opening and deliberately chose a room with a nice view. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor next to the exit and directly in front of a maid’s storage area. The window barely offered a partial view of the ocean, and there was a door right in front of our bed through which we could hear everything from the neighboring guest, including coughing and conversation. At night, the AC was also quite loud. The amenities were from Bulgari, and we were so impressed with the body products that we ended up purchasing them for ourselves after the stay. While some of the front desk staff came off a bit distant, we were deeply touched by a woman working in the evening who went above and beyond to assist us when several amenities were missing in our room—likely due to the hotel not being fully prepared yet. Despite the breakfast being modest, it was lovely—bagels, salmon spread, juice—all simple but delicious. The exterior was still under construction, and the pool hadn’t been built yet, but I can imagine how beautiful it will be once complete, especially in the summer. Everything was brand new, making the stay feel exceptionally clean and refreshing. Still, we were quite disappointed with the room assignment. It wasn’t peak season, and the hotel clearly had many rooms available, so it felt unfair to be given such a poor location. It wasn’t just the fact that it’s a new building that made us happy—it’s the hope that cleanliness and hospitality continue even after the hotel is fully operational. If I visit Mystic again, I’d still love to return here.

We visited for our Anniversary and enjoyed everything about this hotel but especially the service. All the staff treated you like family and we're very accommodating. But we especially enjoyed Penny who really provided a personal experience. We will definitely be back!

I've been in more hotel rooms than the Gideon Bible. The Delamar Mystic is one of the best. My wife Linda and I spent a week at the Delamar celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. The food any better. The room, the view, all made us homesick for a place we’d never been.
