Deli aDrift is a small cafe located on the corner of Veivers Road and Williams Esplanade in Palm Cove. Slightly set back from the beach, it offers breakfast and lunch options as well as a Deli, primarily aimed at guests for the hotel complex. There are also a small range of cakes and sweet offerings to tempt you if you're having a mid morning coffee, something to replenish the sugars if you've had a hard day relaxing by the hotel pool or the Palm Cove beach.
The mood is gentle, no booming music and the ambience is one of peaceful enjoyment. Sitting options are both in and out, though the space in either is not large. This numbers restriction does keep some of the wait time down, though with limited food preparation area, in busy periods, you may not be served as quickly as you'd like. However, there are worse places to have to wait for your food!
The staff are always attentive, the food, whilst simple, still very tasty, reasonably priced and the coffee is very good. In my experience, there are two really good Cafe's in Palm Cove and this is definitely one of them. Highly recommended.
