Exceptionally good value. 5 delicious courses with a combination of more traditional Spanish dishes and other equally delicious fusion cuisine. I've recommended this place to several friends who live in Valencia already and will definitely go back.

Amazing meal. The food was incredible, diverse fusion that was impeccably balanced, great wines by the glass and impeccable service!

Wonderful experience. A menu of 5 courses (3 appetizers, a main dish and dessert) for only 16.50€, although drinks/coffee not included. Original dishes, and although at first portions do not seem like a lot, altogether they make up for quite an abundant meal. Service was good, but you have to take into account that there are only two waiters and the place gets full really fast, so do expect some waiting time.

There's just one menu - but that's not a problem at all, because the food is incredible! We booked a table for a Tuesday lunch (without booking, you might not find a table!) and we were presented with a menu composed of four dishes, and they were all very delicate and tasteful. Two menus (14 EUR each) + 2 glasses of wine (2,5 EUR each) was a bargain! Strongly suggested for couples - the place is small, and because there's just a fixed menu I suggest to avoid going with kids.

Our absolute favourite place in el carmen. The lunchtime menu del dia is 5 courses of fine dining fusion for €16 and the menu changes every week. There's a gorgeous terrace overlooking the cathedral too. The staff are the friendliest in the barrio and incredibly creative, delicious food. Perfection!

This is the most amazing place to eat and the service was good too. Honestly, this is in my top 10 restaurants of all time. The fusion of Spanish and Japanese was unique. Who would have thought that these two cuisines could be fused in such a powerful and tasty way. Please try the rose foam and lychee granita with raspberries - it was a taste sensation. Some restaurants are great, this one takes the cake...excuse the pun!

Best restaurant we visited in Valencia. Menu del dia €15, & 5 courses! quality exceptional. It really makes me question every other restaurant in Valencia that does a set lunch menu for €13-€15 & serve 3 courses that usually includes a dubious paella. Go to Delicat but book 1st.

We were waiting for them to open at the tables outside and when they opened, they immediately yelled at us to move away. We were unaware the restaurant was booked and we didn’t mind moving out of the way. The lady yelled at us and pushed us out of the way. We may have come back but felt completely disrespected.

Yelp
After seeing repeat recommendations across multiple travel guides, we decided to drop by here for lunch during our visit to Valencia. A great find, tucked away a short distance from Plaza de la Virgin, Delicat offers a gourmet dining experience without any unnecessary pretentiousness. The dining room is quite small with about 9 tables, but we had no problem getting seated immediately on that slow and rainy day. Lunch service is a 12€, five course prix fixe menu. Each of the offerings are delightfully delicate in presentation, with a distinctly asian/indian flavor. For our lunch, we got: Green pea soup - Savory and creamy, fresh pea flavor Chicken skewer - Crispy indian curry chicken draws contrast with the side of tomato salsa and guacamole Shrimp and dumpling - Cute dish finished with edible flowers, fresh and simple with a delicious hoisin type sauce Pork ribs - Tender braised pork w/ a sort of chinese, five spice inspired flavor and a hint of wasabi in the side of mashed potatoes Basil ice cream - Surprisingly forward basil flavor, over macerated strawberries and whipped cream The small portions of each dish leave you craving for more, but our appetites were satiated by the end of the meal. Overall an excellent value for the exquisite experience.

Yelp
Amazing food in Valencia. Great cuisine, passionate owners. A must visit when you are in the city center. Please mind opening times and to get a reservation before you arrive. The five course prefix menu is always extraordinary and you get the best value for your money.

Yelp
Food was overly salty!!!! Every dish was salty. Had the pig with carpaccio, Moroccan chicken, and shrimp and rice. Hostess never checked in on us either. If the chef didn't over salt the dishes, I'd imagine food would've tasted good.

Yelp
I give the restaurant props for trying to be different but what to did great on presentation it failed on the actual taste of the food. I think they would better if they stick to actual tapas. Plus the service was poor. We got our order one at a time. So three plates were delivered in a span of 30 minutes. Plus no sangria or Agua de Valencia! That's a sin for not selling your national drink.
