"Love is powerful, but it can sometimes be delicate — and you can marvel at a similarly fragile treasure at Arches National Park. Although this geologic feature is now widely known as Delicate Arch, it's also been called many other colorful names, like 'Cowboy's Chaps' and 'Old Maid's Bloomers.'" - Travel + Leisure Editors

I didn’t have much trail information but booked marked this one and went and it blew my mind and made it all the more amazing! Such a cool hike and amazing arch! Not too big of a hike but there are small big uphills parts that can be a little strenuous, just take your time and enjoy the views on the way. Before you get to the big hill there was this really big cool mineral rock that had little ones all over the ground! Was really cool. This arch is the one that’s on the Utah plates which I had no idea till someone told me while hiking. When you get to the arch the views of it and around are so amazing! Spent some good time up there taking pictures from every angle!

Incredible! I would absolutely go again. I am 5'4" 240lbs lady with iffy knees. Totally worth every step. We went when it was cool and WINDY. Freaked me out a bit, but I had teens with me, and they already freak me out. 😆 We deliberately went when there were not a lot of people.

Judging by the number of reviews, this doesn't appear to be a very popular place ;) So glad we were there on a Wednesday, as I hear it's unbelievably crowded on the weekend. The lone arch jutting from the surface standing above the swirled basin - it's almost like it was hand crafted! Be very careful, though. Folks have fallen into the basin and others succumbed to the hike!

Delicate Arch is truly one of Arches National Parks most incredible formations and most Iconic arch. There are basically three ways to view the arch. We hiked the Upper Delicate Arch Viewpoint trail to get a wonderful view of this amazing Arch. The trail is a 1 mile out and back, moderately difficult, trail with a lot of elevation gain and takes about a half hour to complete. This Arch is a must see when visiting the Arches National Park.

I was a little worried about going on this hike by myself, but even first thing in the morning while it was cool, there were people in front of and behind me. There was no way of getting lost, and a nice man offered me a hand when I got stuck on my way down. This is a difficult hike--be prepared--but well worth it if you're in good shape.

It was such a pretty view and 100 percent worth the climb. Great pictures and awesome place for sunset and sunrise hikes. Make sure you old of to your water bottles or they could roll into the pit and you won’t get it back.

Wonderful place to take a night hike and view the stars. One must stick around for sunrise to see the glory of this place with the Sunrise over the mountains behind. The truly brave can venture down below or around to the other side and take a look at a place that looks like there is no way that it wasn’t sculpted by the hands of someone.

Visiting Delicate Arch was truly one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life. Standing before this natural wonder, I was overwhelmed by its sheer beauty and grandeur. The intricate shape of the arch, framed against the vast desert landscape, felt almost otherworldly. The hike to reach it was absolutely worth every step. Along the way, the changing scenery kept me captivated, but nothing could prepare me for the awe I felt when I finally stood before the arch. Watching the sunset here added an extra layer of magic, with the warm hues lighting up the rocks in a surreal glow. Delicate Arch is more than just a sight—it’s an unforgettable moment that stays with you forever. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature, adventure, and incredible views. This is truly a place you have to see to believe!
