It's Peak Bûche de Noël Season in Paris

"Take a trip down memory lane with this work of art designed to look like a decorative Christmas ball you hang on your tree. Lift the hand-painted chocolate sphere, crafted as an intricate ornament, to unveil the entremet flavored with citrus, gingerbread, honey, passion fruit, and cinnamon. The surprise doesn’t stop there: crack the pedestal base and you’ll discover an array of tiny treats to share. Though this bûche is already sold out, you can pick up an individual portion of “The Taste of Noël” entremets for 10.50€ at Nina Métayer retail locations, including Printemps du Goût in Paris; the Christmas collection also includes classic yule logs in fun flavors like pistachio and cardamom. Serves 10, €150, limited edition." - Mary Winston Nicklin

A great culinary moment in a fabulous place... Even if the chef Nina Métayer might not be "the best pastry chef in the world", she definitely is one of the very best! We tasted her flowers, clouds and cookies, and it was literally like eating magic and poetry. I will remember that lavender flower and this cocoa nibs cookie for a long time !

Ordered online for pick-up. The pastries are good and light (not too sweet). Prices are reasonable. It's also possible to eat in.

DONT COME HERE! DONT COME HERE! DONT COME HERE! sadly to say that but the staffs are really unfriendly and seems don’t care about their customers. Yesterday I bought a cake with friends and when we say we want to take away and it’s my birthday, if possible there’s some candles we can buy. one Asian girl expressed her kindness and tried to offer us forks so it’s easier for the take away to eat but the other stuffs immediately stopped her and rudely said we have no candles and trying to get us away from their shop. Rude and honestly the cake is not being well packaged. We hold it but after a few stops of metro it’s totally ruined. No idea why the staff is so rude but I’m sure she is ruining Ms Nina’s business with her unprofessional behavior and bad attitude.

I never write reviews, but my first negative one had to go to this place. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have had in Paris. The cakes are pretty, but taste bad. Overpriced, bland, and utterly forgettable We ordered two of these disappointing cakes and a drink. We finished within 30 minutes and wanted to sit for a short while longer. Without any prior warning, a waitress came over and directly told us to either order more or get out. We were paying customers, not people loitering. To be rushed out the door in under an hour is a special kind of greed and disrespect. The only conclusions we can draw are that the staff is either outright racist or simply provides the most appallingly poor service imaginable. The attitude from the white woman who approached us was aggressively rude. No wonder there are so many bad reviews. The food is a scam and the service is a disgrace. Save your money and your dignity. Go literally anywhere else for a happy time in Paris. A truly vile experience from start to finish.

A lovely spot with a welcoming atmosphere! The pastries are beautifully made and delicious, and the drinks are just as enjoyable. The team is friendly and attentive, and you can tell they put care into both the food and the service. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a treat. Highly recommended!

We were greeted by a sigh of complaints when we showed our vouchers to the cashier. It seems like they are tired of seeing customers with the coupon initially offered by the hotel. We sat at the table with the dishes and stuff from the previous customer, which the staff did not take away. When the staff brought us our pastries and drinks, she saw the table was full of previous customers’ dishes but didn't care about taking them back and cleaning the table. We ended up asking them to take them away. She took them away but didn’t wipe down the table. The table had some hair, leftover food residues, watermarks, and sticky syrups. We cleaned it up using our paper towel, and it got pretty dark, meaning the table had not been wiped down for a while. It was disgusting. Also, they did not give us silverware or anything. We had to ask for a dessert fork and get them from the cashier. I won’t come back for sure.

These pastries were absolutely delicious. We first tried the individual sized lemon tarte and mont blanc and we just had to order more! We ordered to full sized mont blanc, citrus tarte and chocolate tarte and they were all so yummy. I'm looking forward to trying the king cake this month.

The pros : nice selection of pastries, good presentation The cons : waiting time was way too long. Only one staff and she was busy attending some other clients on the phone. Seating area wasn’t clean and space is too small to seat if you are tall.
