Délices de la Mer is a delightful bar and restaurant located on the eastern end of Plage des Salines, offering excellent food and stunning views. I visited just before noon on New Year’s Day, and although the restaurant was about to get very busy, with most tables already reserved, the staff graciously found us a table with a beautiful sea view. The food was a highlight of the visit. I ordered the chicken Colombo (Colombo de poulet) and was thoroughly impressed. This was my first time trying this traditional dish from the French Antilles, and the combination of tender chicken and rich curry flavors made it memorable. We also tried the chicken, fries, and salad (poulet, frites et crudités), which was enjoyable, though the chicken Colombo was the star of the meal. The restaurant’s location is hard to beat, with a picturesque view of the entire beach and a handful of sailboats gently anchored offshore. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy a meal while soaking in the natural beauty of Plage des Salines. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend stopping by Délices de la Mer. Come early or make a reservation, especially during peak times, to secure a table with a view. The food, atmosphere, and hospitality make it a fantastic choice for a seaside dining experience.

Mixed feelings... we had a mixed Martinique plate which wasn't great, and an avocado with shrimp which was pretty good. People were friendly and there was wifi. The whole ambiance was rather simple set up, typical low ket beach restaurant. The google rating is rather high IMHO.

Perfect view, OK service but the cocktails are not what me gets to come back to this place

Food was ok, it was cold. Service extremely slow. Waited more than one hour for the food. Overall just very slow It is located in a nice place.

My wife and I ate here on a whim during a visit to Anse des Salines during our honeymoon. It is conveniently located pretty conspicuously at the end of the beach. We both felt like it was the best meal we had, and we ate at a few highly recommended restaurants. The key was the fish. Salty fresh fish cooked on a grill with a nice sear. We also got the lobster avocado, which was good, and we ordered a very simple salad of greens, carrots, and cucumber, which was not on the menu, and they were accommodating. Our server did not speak English, but if you are an English speaker in Martinique, you probably already understand that finding a restaurant where English is spoken by the staff can be hit or miss. We were the first customers of the day at lunch time and it seems like it was starting to fill in, and I did only see one person working, so it's possible that service drops off a little when they get busy, but for me and my wife, we definitely enjoyed our meal.
