I am surprised I have missed this place so far. It was an instant favorite for me. First off, the décor is warm and gives you a feeling of comfort without the pretension you often find at coffee shops.
For seating There are chairs with tables, a small bar if you are the tall sort, a bench and some armchairs. You have options.
The music was relaxing while i was there, but most importantly not loud! I don't know why but coffee shops in Chicago play music so loud you have to talk over it. The music is present, you can tune in or out easily.
There were 6 or so baked goodies and some wraps in the cooler, all of which were gluten free. God help me, there are days when I need a brownie. It was great.
I had drip coffee. They have a great roast. The kind of coffee I would enjoy drinking all day while reading something that made me think. If you have a chance, drop in and discover this tiny gem of a coffee shop. I am a big fan.
