De.light Boutique Hotel (Mykonos, Greek Islands) 2 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Some Mykonos hotels are so centrally located that, for better or worse, the party comes to you. Others are outposts on distant, tranquil stretches of coast where there’s little more than sea and sand. The all-suite De.light Boutique Hotel falls somewhere in between, close enough to the center of town that you can pop in for some shopping and dining, but far enough out that you won’t forget you’re on an arcadian island. To put it another way, you can still go to the party, but you won’t feel like you’ve been stuck in the position of weary host." - Tablet Hotels

We had a very enjoyable stay at the DeLight hotel! The staff was very welcoming and super helpful, assisting us with planning our time on the Island and accommodating our needs. We also had a great time at the spa! Our room was spacious and well maintained, the bed was large and comfortable and the amenities were great. The views are impeccable and the bar staff is friendly and capable. We also enjoyed a day at the beach, with complimentary sun beds included with our stay. Highly recommended for travelers looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation with great views.

The hotel is in the St. John area - which is a little quieter. We walked to Mykonos town several times - but it is a 2.5 mile walk and along the road - so I would do it after dark. Our room was huge! It had all of the amenities - even window treatments that you could open from bed. We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the beach. You have to access the beach through a different hotel, but you can use the chairs and umbrellas. The beach was quiet and gorgeous. The restaurant staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were also great! The concierge was helpful with finding taxis and letting us know the cost upfront. Would stay here again!

I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel and was truly impressed by the views, design, and friendly service. The location is fantastic and most aspects of the stay were exceptional, but unfortunately, one issue left a lasting negative impression. After using the hotel pool, I discovered that two of my high-quality bikinis, each worth £150, were badly discoloured and permanently damaged. I reported this at check-out and followed up with management, who explained that their pool meets maintenance standards and that some fabrics can react to pool conditions. However, I received no apology, warning, or compensation. What makes this more frustrating is that I used the same swimsuits in two different hotel pools earlier this summer, both times with no issues. The bikinis were in impeccable condition before entering this particular pool. If you plan to stay here, I recommend avoiding the pool with expensive swimwear or asking questions beforehand. It is a stunning property, but for a hotel of this standard I expected better accountability and care when something goes wrong.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was very comfortable and the team was excellent – especially Kostas who was always so helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, highly recommended for everyone to try! A special thanks to Chef Daniel for the amazing dishes and also to Mata for the warm and kind service.

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are perfect, pool beautiful, views are amazing but most importantly the staff is super nice - panos, costas, kotsi - are the best! Super recommended!

My stay at De.Light Boutique Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service, truly living up to its status as a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Nestled in a picturesque location, the hotel offers breathtaking views that perfectly complement the serene atmosphere. The room was a haven of luxury, with every detail carefully thought out to provide maximum comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the little touches, like the plush bathrobes and high-end toiletries. Dining at the hotel was an experience in itself. The gourmet dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making each meal a delight for the senses. What truly sets De.Light Boutique Hotel apart is the level of personalized service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, making me feel like a valued guest. I highly recommend De.Light Boutique Hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable getaway. It’s a gem that stands out in every way, and I can’t wait to return. See you soon 💜🙏

Gorgeous hotel & location. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Rooms are large with fantastic views. ||There is a restaurant, supermarket & bus stop directly opposite the hotel. The bus service is brilliant, every half hour into Mykonos and only 2 euros each. From there you can then take the bus to other areas of the island.||Food in the hotel is lovely, lots of choice & large portions. ||Weather was perfect the whole week we were here.||Would certainly come back to this hotel.

This hotel is amazing. It’s small but immaculate with clean lines and the lovely soft Grecian blue touches in the shutters and decor. All the rooms have a stunning view of the sea. The decor is neutral and contemporary and the room was huge. There is a small out door terrace with every room. Breakfast is a la carte but with huge choice and all freshly cooked. We ate at the hotel one evening and one lunchtime and had amazing salad, club sandwiches, wraps and tempura prawns. Portions are huge so share dishes. ||There is a pool which isn’t heated so it ws a bit chilly in May but still nice to cool off in. The staff could not be more helpful. The pool has a mix of sun beds and cabanas so you can escape the heat. We didn’t use the spa but they can arrange treatments for you with 24 hours notice. There are 4 restaurants in walking distance. We ate Italian at Belissimo and Greek at the restaurant next door . Both really good value and again huge portions. We had amazing gyros. We treated ourselves to a meal at Hippiefish which was amazing. We didn’t try Beef bar but this is also in walking distance. ||The local bus is excellent. 2 euros to get in to Mykonos town . We recommend D’angelos here which was good value. ||Mykonos town can be crowded when cruise ships are in and is definitely much noisier than lovely Agios Ioannis where the De.light hotel is. We liked the contrast of the two. |||One final recommendation is Pasaji on Ornos beach. A lovely night out with excellent food and easy to get to as the bus stops in Ornos en route to Mykonos town.
