The Top Things to See and Do in Brussels in 2025

"With the longest beer menu in the world—over 2,000 beers from more than 60 countries and a Guinness World Record—I find Delirium a fun (if crowded and touristy) place to try a wide selection of Belgian beers and international brews." - Matthew Kepnes

Google
Best Beer Place ever and ever! An Unique Taphouse in Belgium , in Europe and even in the " Beer Globe"! Service is excellent and professional! A Beer List always ready to make happy every single thirsty beer drinker! Not sure but last time I ve counted more than 30 different draft beer on tap ! We had 4 amazing pints! If you visited Brussels city is a must indeed! See you soon Guys!

Luke E.

Google
The Delirium Village is epic! Every staircase leads to another bar. Excellent selection of beers that changes between bars. Loads of fun and a great place to visit pre/post Atomium for New Year! Very much recommend a visit if in Brussels!

Tomislav B.

Google
Delirium Taphouse in Brussels is a true pilgrimage site for every beer lover. The selection is outstanding-huge, diverse and full of interesting options, with something for every taste. The staff are friendly, helpful and always ready to recommend something new, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a top-tier taphouse; lively, relaxed and authentic. If you enjoy beer even a little and find yourself in Brussels, Delirium Taphouse is a place you simply cannot skip. A must-visit!

Google
We visited twice during our weekend. A great place with a huge range of beer. Lovely atmosphere too. On our second visit we had a x10 glass flight each. This was only available on the top floor bar. Equivalent to 3.5pints each, it was a great way to sample a range of the beers available.

Google
Most iconic place to have a beer in Brussels. This place have the world record of beers, you can taste over 2000 different ones. The bar itself is amazing, as soon as you crops the door you know you find your place. It's located in a little alley where you can find the statue of the girls peeing.

Cristian N.

Google
Great pub with an awesome vibe! Amazing atmosphere, excellent beer selection 🍺🍻, great music, and a friendly crowd. Really enjoyed it!

Rohit

Google
Great beers. Great place to hangout. You can almost find a table all the time.

Google
The Tap house blends into the Delirium cafe but it has a huge selection of draft beers and several that are on rotation. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful others don’t give a damn.

Yelp
What an amazing stop in Brussels! This is a beer lovers paradise ! With over 2000 beers to choose from, it was challenging to pick, but the beer tenders were awesome and gave us a hand. We tried some delicious IPA, Belgian whites, triples, and even took our chance on the beer plank ! It's a dive bar style spot. With eclectic vintage decor, but it's also very welcoming and memorable. I am so glad we got to check it out and I can't wait to come back to Brussels and go drink some more beer ! Cheers !

Yelp
My husband loves beer, and one brand he likes is the Belgian brand Delirium, so we went to Delirium Café, which is located in Impasse de la Fidélité, the small alley across from Jeanneke Pis. Delirium Café has hundreds of beers, and they hold the Guinness World Record for the most beers offered. I don't drink beer so I didn't have anything to drink, but my husband sampled a few beers and we had a good time hanging out. [Yelp collections: Europe 2024; Brussels, Belgium]

Yelp
You dont travel to Brussels without stopping at this legendary hardcore multi level pub down an old brick paved corridor. Walked inside expecting a busy spot but noticed a long bar with a plethora of beer taps and a sterotypical Belgium bartender proudly standing behind the liquid gold with an instant greeting. Where were the customers at such an iconic bar? Anyways, the bartender explained a few of the tap beer options. Chose a strong Delirium Red 8% abv. The wife had a Delirium Classic and we sat an old wooden barrel table and took a toast of our first beer of the day. We took a tour of the pub and went down stairs and found the all the hidden customers. Probably the most interesting room decorated in just pure beer placards including a shrine of old Delirium beer bottles. The Delirium brewery for production and international distribution is based at another location. This bar has a fun atmosphere with a variety of strong fresh craft beers.

Yelp
This place is absolutely massive and the draft list is just a big! I heard that this was a must-do in Brussels and I have to agree. Delirium owns a whole little alley with multiple bars and seating areas including a small rooftop space. As far as I can tell, they don't serve food, but there's plenty of places nearby if you need something to soak up your drink. They offer so many beers that there has to be something for everyone. I tried a lime and cactus draft which was delicious and served to me quickly by a very efficient and friendly bartender. Most people seemed to be ordering a beer meter which is a pre fixe flight they offer which includes 10 different beers--great for sharing!
google avatar

Yelp
If you love beer and want to try 10 at once then this is the place! There is a delirium village where if you go in a bit further than the cafe there is another entrance where there is even more beer on tap! It's cute inside and you can try the beers or vodka (apparently you can get one, 10 or 100 shots! No idea why!) Beers are great and it's fun to try them all! Service is friendly and fast too!
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
One thing I know for sure was after eating a Belgium waffle I went straight to the place to get the best Belgium beer and that is the Delirium Cafe. The atmosphere inside the bar felt like an antique shop with lots of barrel tables and beer taps. I ordered a Delirium Blonde at 8.5% abv which was refreshing.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
This place is so much fun! Each floor has a bit of its own unique atmosphere! I especially loved the bottom floor with the bottle caps all over the ceiling; so cool! There are so many beers on tap here it's a bit overwhelming, but in a good way. The most extensive beer menu you will ever see in your life just may be here :) Service is good. It's mostly walk up to the counter and order and then sit down. They do have a pre set flight you can order to try a bunch of things if you are indecisive or just want to try a lot :) An upbeat ambiance with beautiful decor and tasty delights awaits you in this cute spot! Don't miss this if you like beer and a chill atmosphere.
google avatar

Jason K.

Yelp
This was my favorite spot in all of BELGIUM! The bar is a bunch of connected bars, so there are lots of cool rooms to explore. The beer is as amazing as one would expect it to be. There is a rooftop patio. There is a 3m flight of beer. There is incredible people watching. Oh, and there is DAS BOOT! The service is solid. We did not have table service, so we ordered at the bar. The only struggle was trying to carry the 3m flight through the bar. Delirium has always been one of my favorite Belgian breweries, and after visiting this spot, it ranks even higher on my list. I can't wait to come back just to sit here for an afternoon.
google avatar

Drew O.

Yelp
I've been coming here for 20 years. The bartenders are so kind and take very good care of me and my guys. We have a rule if we see a passenger from the flight we pay for their entire tab. It happened today. Lots of high ABV beers here. Take an uber back to your hotel.
google avatar

Ed S.

Yelp
A bit crazy during Jazz Weekend but great beers - over 2,000 at one of the village bars downstairs. Worth a stop in a city with great options.
google avatar

Kristin N.

Yelp
We popped in here after wandering Brussels for a few hours. Massive beer list, great tunes and if you sit by the window of the peeing statue, you'll get hours of people watching fun!
google avatar

Thuy Dan T.

Yelp
Delirium Cafe is basically a whole alleyway of different sections from the cafe, to the beer, to even a tequila tasting section. You can walk out and in from one spot to another. It's a little difficult to find seating on a busy afternoon, but it's quite large so you should be able to find something. They have a very wide selection of beers (and even tequilas) to try. We got the flight which came with 10 varieties. The sour one were my favorite. Definitely a must stop visit in Belgium!
google avatar

Zuletzt H.

Yelp
So it isn't what it used to be. We were here in 2011 and it was amazing. Now, the tequila bar is closed completely. The hoppy loft isn't really hoppy. The cafe smells like 2 year old beer. Staff were decent but didn't know what a couple of beers we wanted were. Sometimes "ages like a fine wine" just isn't true. I definitely recommend you stop here but there are other places nearby that are actually better. Sorry, Delerium. Up your game!
google avatar

Mel T.

Yelp
Stopped in just before 7 pm on a Thursday. When in Brussels, the Delirium Bar is a must! They have so many beers, so it would be a good idea to research some beforehand so you're not standing there forever deciding. I had the cactus beer and it was SO good. Sometimes, fruity beers are too fruit or sour, but this one was perfect. The bar has plenty of seating since they have different sections and levels, so you don't need to worry about that. It was a cool atmosphere with chill vibes and cool music. We didn't stay too long but if I was a local, I could totally see this being one of my regular spots.
google avatar

Sade N.

Yelp
I can genuinely say that I have never experienced anything like Delirium Village and Cafe! If you love beer, then this is definitely a must try while in Brussels. This was our first time in Brussels and we tried this place based on our travel research and locals recommendations. There's no way to try all 2000 beers they have available ON TAP, but we sure did try. Great music, good beer, and fun vibes.
google avatar

Maddy W.

Yelp
A must do when in Brussels! They have so many options, I'd recommend trying their flight of 12, generosity sized beers. One flight can be easily split between 2 or even 3 people. Personally, I loved the cherry beer. The atmosphere here is exactly what you would expect. Lots of history in these walls and walking throughout the bar/cafe with your flight is defiantly a challenge.
google avatar

Jordan C.

Yelp
A lot of beers are available here, including some gluten free. This is among the places it's popular to stop at and if you're just looking for beer they have plenty at a good price. The ambiance and facilities are not 5 star which is fine for this kind of place, but if you're looking to grab a peaceful beer you may want to look elsewhere. We found a bit of a line anytime we wanted to order so that wasn't the best experience but the staff were trying hard and friendly.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
One cannot miss the Delirum Café located down Delirium Alley on their visit to Brussels. The Delirium brand, in general, is world renown especially for its claim to serve a supposed 2000 beers from all over the world to try (on tap and bottles). Because of this, many a traveler will be in and out whether among the countless bars scattered throughout Delirium Village or out on the street in the alley. You'll experience quite the number of clientele therefore you will be entertained at all the lively activity going on around you. It is a place promising pure debauchery. You'll see many people ordering that "yard stick" which is basically 25cl or so of each beer on tap situated on a slab. It is A LOT of beer so all the seats occupied over at the café side are definitely rowdy. The Delirium Cafe is fun, HOWEVER, it may be a tourist trap... beer prices were not consistent across each bar depending on where you order. Delirium Tremens on tap seemed obscenely expensive at 8 euros too. A word of caution, but the only bathroom is on the third floor after ascending a dizzying set of stairs. Service was outstanding, however, and the bartenders have real skill. A Delirium Tremens you may order, but I would opt for a couple of Pilsners or Tripels on tap after that. Avoid that yard stick and you'll have a spectacular time!

Yelp
This place was so much fun!! I came here while visiting from London with a few friends who live in Belgium, and we had a blast!
google avatar

Rich N.

Yelp
Fun place with many different vibes depending on which area you are. Helpful staff and great beers!
google avatar

Zach H.

Yelp
Must check this place out while you are here. Down an alley way you have a few options of bars to check out. All with great beer selections and friendly service. A meter of beer is a great way to sample different types of beer. Felt old but clean and the cobblestone streets just add to the ambiance.
google avatar

Janelle A.

Yelp
What a cool bar! So many beers to pick from! So many areas to sit and drink with different music sections! The decor is excellent! It's June and we just happen to be in Brussels during its hottest time so we decided to drink downstairs because it's cooler! I enjoyed drinking the floris! I tried the peche, passion, and honey! If you love beer this is your place!
google avatar

Barney C.

Yelp
Such a fun time! This is a beer lovers paradise and an experience you shouldn't miss if you're visiting Brussels. Tons of beers! - A Guinness World record amount of beers available! Each venue has the popular beers on tap for the most part but find your way the cellar and get a full menu. The amount of high quality, delicious beers can be overwhelming! Prices are great so give a bunch a try or go for a flight. Tons of tourists / people! - This place is not a secret. There's a ton of people there at night. With that being said be mindful of all the broken glass in the streets and getting bumped and potentially spilled on. The crowd is very eclectic - you see blazers, leather jackets, funny tees and everything in-between. Everyone there is usually light hearted and there to enjoy the vibes and excellent beers. Have a pint. Have two. Maybe 3? Just make sure you visit this amazing place.
google avatar

Allyson S.

Yelp
Can't-miss stop if you're in in Brussels! There are more than enough beers to choose from, plan to stay for a couple. I felt that the service was top notch. The bartenders were knowledgeable and shared a ton of information to help find a beer I'd love.
google avatar

Alejandra M.

Yelp
Very kool place, great vibes. The flights were good and very good price. Some of the beers were different but it was a good experience to get to try so many of them.
google avatar

Helen H.

Yelp
If you like Belgian beer, then most likely you've heard of Delirium. There are 8 bars within Delirium Village and we went to this one, which is the original. Apparently, they offer 2004 beers. Barrels are used as tables and beer trays are used as decor. It can get quite crowded inside, but we had a chill time there.
google avatar

G.A. V.

Yelp
Such great beers, but I feel like that's a given. The ambiance was fantastic! The music and service were superb! I can't wait to come back to Brussels!!!!!
google avatar

Angelica B.

Yelp
Dead during the day and a mini club at night but no AC but a Great time and great beers! I loved the souvenirs and grabbed a cute few be sure to do so as well. My bar mat is my favorite
google avatar

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Almost a must go when in Brussels! I always make a stop when in town. Hundreds of beers to choose from with multiple floors that hold different beer experiences on each. Service is fast even when busy and has an old tavern feel to it.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Everyone comes here for the meter long beer flight, and I can see why! They give you and insanely number of samples. There is something for any taste. The difficult part is finding where to sit. They make the best of it with tables outside and upstairs, but since they are so busy and everyone is doing the meter beer flight (which means they will be sitting for longer than 30 minutes) finding a place to sit requires timing an luck. The rustic pub vibe is cool and everything comes for a reasonable price for something in so high demand. Definitely check it out if you want to try beers.
google avatar

Ana W.

Yelp
Drinks are great! Whatever you do, do not take pictures of the bartenders, they are very serious about this rules. There are several floors and rooms for drinking so great for crowds. Beers were great.
google avatar

Makara S.

Yelp
Such an amazing place to visit and grab a beer. Bartender was great at explaining the different beers on tap.

Jason A.

Yelp
Wonderful bar in the heart of Brussels. I'd read reviews about it being crowded, noisy, and over-touristed, but I was there early on a Thursday and then Friday evening in June and it was low-key. The bartenders were really easy-going and friendly, and spoke perfect English. They have all the amazing beers that you would expect. No Westvleteren 12, but pretty much most every other great Belgian beer that you can think of. I've been to the Delirium bars in Tokyo and Vienna, and this place is much, much bigger.
google avatar

Ed H.

Yelp
Delirium Village is like Mecca for Beer and especially Belgian Beer. Alley full of different Delerium bars, each with a slightly different focus and vibe. Well worth a visit for the many beers on offer and the comfortable environment.
google avatar

Alison B.

Yelp
Delirium came HIGHLY recommended to our group of 4 when we mentioned we would be visiting Brussels. There are multiple floors with plenty of seating inside and music playing (but not so loud that you cannot hear). We went up to the bar to order and despite it being a busy evening, the bartenders were attentive and quick. Our group had quite the range of interests from fruity ciders to stouts and let me assure you there is something for everyone at Delirium! My favorite part was the unique glassware that all of our drinks came in. I highly recommend Delirium for anyone looking to try some of Belgiums delicious beers!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
The place was crowded when I arrived, so it's clearly popular. Service was friendly but slow. The beer was excellent.
google avatar

Peter L.

Yelp
Delirium Cafe is a collection of a few buildings and bars that serve a lot of beer. The place does get very loud and crowded, but the bartenders are efficient with the beers and the selection is surreal. Seems like most of the crowd were also tourists but the place has a friendly vibe and the music is loud. The beer samplers served on long boards seemed like a good way to knock off a number of beers, but as we had dinner plans, I had to choose carefully for a pre-dinner beverage. I selected one of Delirium's own brews, which was solid, but my friend's lambic was amazing. So it's not a place where one comes for a quiet evening but the beer selection is amazing and fun.
google avatar

Barbara M.

Yelp
Such a cool place! SO many different kinds of beer and in a great location. Lots of different areas to have your drinks. Definitely have to check it out if you like beer!

Sabrina A.

Yelp
Really cool pub with a lot of options. The bartenders weren't that amicable but it was pretty busy.
google avatar

Bill G.

Yelp
A horrific tourist trap. I think this place made one too many visitor guides to Brussels. Loud club music blares on all three levels, and at night it fills with drunk tourists---no real way to engage with the bartenders or proprietors given the noise and churn. The beer selection is extensive, but the same could be said for many other spots in less dense regions of town.
google avatar

Jennie C.

Yelp
You've gotta try the flight and if not all that then the cherry beer at least. But the most popular is the Delirium blonde apparently according to the bartender. Even though this place is super touristy, it wasn't overrun like some nearby fry places. We were ignored for a really long time at first but then we were served probably within 10-16 minutes. Would probably recommend sitting upstairs for quieter ambiance. Bathroom vibe is weird many stickers about pickpocketing.
google avatar

JJ C.

Yelp
Atmosphere: The Delirium bar is a rustic spot that is in an alleyway in the heart of Brussels. The bar has some seating if you are lucky enough to snag a table. Otherwise, there are some tables and chairs in the alleyway, which is where we sat at. Service: Even with the long line inside, we were served promptly, and the bartenders immediately understood our request for their beer meter. Food: We ordered the beer meter, which consisted of ten beers. We were served the Campus, Delirium Tremens, Delirium Red, Floris Cactus, Paranoïa IPA, St. Bernardus ABT 12, Chimay Triple, Delirium Winter, St. Bernardus III, and Bush Amber. We loved the Floris Cactus and Delirium Red, which were more fruity and sweet beers with lime and cherry flavors, respectively. We also enjoyed the blond beers, notably the St. Bernardus III and the Delirium Tremens, as they were smooth, fresh, and clean without an extremely strong aftertaste. Overall: We would highly recommend Delirium to anyone looking to try a variety of Belgian beers. Both the lively atmosphere and beer offerings makes Delirium the perfect place for tourists!
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
Great selection with dive bar vibes in the Cafe area. Cool nooks for conversation along with big open areas/tables for big groups. Bar tenders know their selections, which is impressive since there are over 2,000 beers!!! Yeah it can be touristy, but sometimes you just gotta do cheesy stuff with a good drink in hand.
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
THIS is the kind of bar I was hoping to find on my trip through Europe! First off, Delirium beer is easy to find elsewhere in the world, so if you haven't tried it, please do so, it's amazing! But getting back to this location, I was happy that I stumbled upon it. It was tucked away in a side street and I immediately recognized the pink elephant logo adorning it's exterior. So we stopped in to discover multiple floors of a hopping bar, with great music, people laughing, SO MUCH BEER ON TAP, and just the right ambiance. I wouldn't call it a dive bar, but it had those great characteristics of one - but also seemed very well-run and well-kept. There's a ton of beers from other breweries to choose from as well as from Delirium. I had such a blast here. We drank, we laughed, we enjoyed the crowd around us. The bartenders were all super friendly and approachable. Also happy that all of the ones I spoke with were happy to help me despite me only speaking English. They were happy to help with my language barrier in addition to wearing masks and having loud music playing all making it even more difficult - thank you for being patient with me! Stop in, grab a pint, have a blast!
google avatar

Benjamin P.

Yelp
I went to Europe for my Honeymoon. We made stops in London, Brussels, Brugge and Barcelona. Would you believe that this tavern was my favorite spot of the whole trip? I've been a fan of Belgian beer for years. Delirium in particular is a family favorite. My wife did some research before the trip and this was marked down as a must stop. We walked by this place multiple times and were shocked at how busy it was at all hours of the day. We finally stopped in and I was blown away. There's simply a happy & warm vibe in this place. Maybe it's the 8-12% ABV beer they're pouring? Really cool early-mid 1900's ads for decor. Minor language barrier mistake - I tried to ask for another flight of beers and I ended up getting three "smaller" beers. I wasn't unhappy about it. The best beers in the world are offered at this place. Take a pic in the photo booth!
google avatar

Paulina A.

Yelp
Delirium is a must visit when in Brussels. It's a dark underground type of bar with over 3,000 beer selections to choose from. I never drink beer so my friend picked out a light fruity type beer for me and it was great! The first full glass of beer I ever had lol. Service just exists at the bar, you have to place your order with a bartender and serve yourself. There is also self-seating throughout the bar.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
One of the best stops in Belgium! The delirium brewery made the Belgium trip for me! Must go here if you enjoy beer. They have all types of beer and you are bound to find many you like. I enjoyed almost every beer I tried, especially some hard to find Trappist beer! Also, the prices are great so you won't be breaking the bank for these amazing brews. Imagine, I pay double for Delirium beer in the states and it is only half the price at it's hometown! That's a win for me! I HIGHLY recommend trying their selection of trappist beer as they have award winning selections that may be hard to find elsewhere! If you enjoy beer and you don't visit Delirium in Belgium, I feel bad for you! Chill vibe and self-seating. Wi-Fi did not work when we visited, but it didn't matter with the great selection of beer!
google avatar

Angela D.

Yelp
Fun time at Delirium. They have different areas with different vibes. The Delirium red was very good and tastes like cherries but there's something for everybody there (I don't even normally drink beer).
google avatar

Veronica K.

Yelp
There's too much to choose from. That's my only complaint. This is a beer lover's dream. What else can I say? The prices are fair and it's a dimly lit bar to enjoy yourself in. It was mostly empty when I went (a Wednesday afternoon), but they have a few floors to choose from. There's bound to be a empty space somewhere. If you love beer then you have to drop by this place if in Brussels.
