Delish Lifestyle Beach Sports Bar

We decided to try this restaurant before we arrived on the island. It was only 5 minutes from our rental and the reviews were mostly good. I was there to have lobster but they were out and we were advised IMMEDIATELY upon being seated that they were out. This is in a VERY sharp contrast to another review that I wrote about another restaurant in Governors Harbour that let us sit for over an hour before they told us they were out of the food we ordered. The folks at Delish were EXCELLENT to take care of us. There were at least 4 different people who checked on us in the short time we were there. They showed their appreciation for our business. I decided to go with the grouper and shrimp and could not have been more pleased ! All of the food was as fresh as expected and the delicate breading on the fish and shrimp was perfect. The hand cut fries were also perfect ! We sat on the outside deck for a great sunset also. When we come back to the island, we will be at Delish again.

This is what a beach bar should be! Great views, cold beers, and the fish fingers were absolutely killer. Would definitely visit again.

The staff is very receptive and they pay attention to detail. They moved fans towards us and placed these ontop the tables as some flies had joined the party. They offered bug repellant for the sandflies as well. The food came incredibly fast, so fast that we only had two sips from our margaritas. The drinks are well made with fresh lime and generous booze. The food tasted amazing, as though it had just hopped out of the ocean and into the frying pan. The Cracked Conch and Cracked Lobster are the best.

Delish, located on beautiful Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, is an absolute gem when it comes to fresh, flavorful island cuisine. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Shelly, who runs the place, was incredibly kind and welcoming — it felt like we were visiting a friend’s home rather than just dining out. The food was outstanding. Every dish we tried was packed with island flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether it was fresh seafood, savory sides, or delicious Bahamian classics, everything tasted homemade and full of heart. The portions were generous, and the presentation was simple yet inviting. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and handled with care. What really stood out, beyond the amazing food, was the service. Shelly made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our visit. She took time to explain the menu and offered great recommendations, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Delish is one of those rare places where the food, the people, and the atmosphere come together to create something truly special. If you’re visiting Eleuthera, don’t miss this hidden treasure. It’s a taste of the Bahamas you won’t forget!

I had lobster here and shortly afterward experienced a severe reaction that required a hospital visit (widespread hives, flushing, racing heart, dizziness). I’m thankfully okay now, but it was very scary and completely unexpected, as I’ve eaten lobster many times before. I can’t say whether this was an allergy or a freshness/handling issue, but wanted to share so others can make an informed decision. Also worth noting there were a lot of mosquitoes in the dining area, which didn’t help the situation. Lastly, the pricing felt excessive — $108 for two cocktails plus fish and lobster.

We made 3 trips to Delish on our week long vacation to Eleuthera! It was always friendly service, and was our favorite food on the island! The menu changes up daily. Definitely worth a visit!

We were looking for a place to have lunch and this place was recommended to us by a local. What a great place! The food, service and location were amazing. It was my first time having conch and the fresh conch salad definitely set the bar high. We also ordered the lobster wrap, fried rice and chicken wings which were all delicious. The location was great with a beautiful view, not to mention the staff was extremely friendly. This is a place I would definitely like to go back to.
