Ordered out their Chicago deep dish and it was amazing! I definitely recommend ordering the meatball topping! The cheese was great with that classic stretch. Service was great I asked about reheating options since I had a bit of a drive and they were very helpful, you will enjoy the food at della barba pizza!

This is the first time I visited Della Barba. I was on a long bike ride from Kensington. I had always wanted to try Della Barba, but, had not had a chance to before. We were very hungry by the time we got here and I was just hoping service would be reasonably fast and food be great. We wanted to sit outside as weather was amazing and we did not want to lock our bikes. There were only two tables outside which became available. We ordered our food at the counter. Lady who worked there was working all by herself and a cook in the back. She was amazingly sweet, suggested New York pizza and Nonna for first timers. We ordered food and drinks thinking it would take sometime to get our food. She quickly took care of cleaning our table, brought water and drinks and our Pizza was ready shortly after. We were expecting great pizza, but, we were treated to an amazing pizza. I can’t recall having a better pizza anywhere else. My complement to the chef and the young Lady who served us (sorry, I don’t remember her name). Dalla Barba was definitely one of the memorable part of our bike trip. I will definitely be back.

Amazing Chicago Style Pizza! Cute little spot right in the city. Unfortunately there isn’t really any service. You have to order on your phone. That part was very disappointing. But the pizza was unreal and a fun experience.

We liked the Detroit a lot. The Chicago was really heavy for me probably cuz it was a meat lovers. There are a lot of screaming kids in that restaurant on a Saturday afternoon unfortunately. I would still go back though cuz I want to try the Nona. By the way, it's not close to a Metro stop.

Tynisha has phenomenal customer service! I had a small problem (normal for any business when you are seeing thousands of people) and she handled it with excellent service. My family orders food most fridays…the nonna style is amazing! Thanks again Tynisha for taking care of us.

We were tourists in DC for a few days and I was craving a deep dish pizza. I looked up places around and chose this place based on the great reviews of the food. My mini Chicago pie was absolutely delicious. I added basil and it was so fresh! My daughter liked her Caesar salad. My friends liked their American style pizza. I was disappointed though because nothing came out together. My daughter got her salad. 10 minutes later my friends got their pizza and 10 min later I got mine. We ordered together though. I was also taken aback by the ordering and eating experience. We were seated upon arrival by someone who was all business, no friendliness. It was fine but not something we're used to in a restaurant. We waited about 15 before someone came and offered us water, which was all we wanted to drink. We were only the 3rd table seated so that was pretty frustrating. The person who offered and brought our water was also not friendly. No smile, nothing. You order food from a QR code on the table, which no one told us about, but we did see after a few minutes. A third person brought our food and again, no smile, no friendliness, nothing. Everyone just seemed robotic. It was off-putting. That was the end of our service. No one checked on us after. Not one word. I had never seen this in a sit down restaurant that wasnt "fast food". Again, not what we expected or were looking for. Lots of people were only doing takeout and I understood why (after the fact unfortunately). The food was EXCELLENT, but that's all I can say.

Went here in the dead of winter so it was a little cold on the inside but the food warmed us up. Chicago deep dish was really good and the Caesar salad was perfect. Detroit pizza was pretty good I would like the dough to be a little more airy, a little more crunchy, but we can tell that they're ingredients are quality. I'll go back and try some New York style pizza next time. Definitely a save to favorites in Google establishment.

After reading so many positive reviews and seeing a lot of hype on social media, we were excited to try this place, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We ordered delivery with 12 wings plus both a Detroit-style and a New York-style pizza. The wings were very poor. The meat was tough, chewy, and tasted overcooked, and the order arrived without the ranch sauces we had requested. We couldn’t finish them and ended up throwing most of them away, which is rare for us. The pizzas looked great and were nicely presented, but the flavor just didn’t match the appearance or the hype. They were fine, but not particularly memorable or standout. Given the overwhelmingly positive reviews and online buzz, I was honestly shocked by how underwhelming our order was. I’m hoping this was simply an off night rather than a typical experience. Since this was a delivery order, I’m giving some benefit of the doubt that the dine-in experience may be better.
