As a long time returning loyal costumer I’m absolutely disgusted in the service. No communication, no one answered the phone, no phone call back to discuss my order. I ordered a Red Velvet cake to be delivered on Friday 31st Jan for my son’s first birthday. When it was delivered we opened to have a look and it was damaged beyond fixable. I ran outside hailed the delivery driver told him to come inside and look at the cake and when I told him it was clearly damaged during transport and told him it was unacceptable he tried to deny it and say he’s just the delivery driver and the cake was in a small box that’s why it’s damaged. The cake was a big disappointment, the cream cheese icing was cracked and tasted like it had been in a fridge for a week, you could see by looking at the cake the crumb coat had not been done properly. The cake was dry, we tasted it, it was dryer than the Sahara desert. It is evident that the cake was clearly not fresh. It definitely was not made the day prior as you would minimally expect coming Luxury Italian bakery? I am still awaiting a call back regarding a total refund of both the cake and delivery. The overall service was poor, it would have been a complete embarrassment to serve this cake to guests.

Their cake was a masterpiece. With its deep, dark chocolate layers and a surprisingly bright, almost citrusy burst from the candied orange zest in the frosting, is a game-changer. The texture is unbelievably light and airy, defying expectations with every bite. It's not just a cake; it's an adventure for your taste buds, a perfect blend of unexpected flavors and textures that left me utterly speechless. I'll be dreaming of this one for weeks.

The brownies are always perfect—rich, indulgent, and the kind of treat that feels like a little piece of heaven. I love how easy it is to place an order, and the service is always spot-on. Dello Mano has quickly become my go-to for any sweet craving, and I can’t wait to order again!

My partner received this Italian ricotta cheesecake for her birthday. It was a dainty size but was quality over quantity! Delicate flavour not too sweet crumble and zest on top adds a different dimension to the flavour/texture. Had pretty specific time constraints for delivery but they graciously accommodated that. Thank you for adding a bit of sweetness to my partner’s bday!

We love Del Mano, and whenever in the city we try to buy a treat to go at the kiosk in Wintergarden. Service varies a lot and so does its closing time, but yesterday’s (23/01/2025) was sadly the worse. The girl serving seemed to be in her own world; didn’t move from here place to tell us which cupcakes were which (as they weren’t signed), had really dirty hair, didn’t use gloves or tongs to handle goods, and hummed away as if we weren’t there. Felt that we were inconveniencing her.

Do not order cakes online for pick up. Service is non-existent. I ordered a birthday cake which is supposed to be picked up upon receiving a text the day of. That text never came. On the day, not a single one of their phone numbers on their website was staffed and half were disconnected - there's about half a dozen phone numbers spread across their website. I did not hear back from them until it was too late, and only after I chased them up by email - they took 4 hours to respond to that. Unreliable, non-responsive. If you want a fresh cake, and need it for a specific day, go elsewhere. Otherwise, feel free to try your luck at whatever's actually sitting in the windows of the shop.

I’m giving it 2 stars because I had a really poor experience with customer service. I received an email stating my order was ready for pickup on December 18, 2024. I went to the Indooroopilly shopping center to collect it, but I couldn’t locate the shop. I tried calling the number listed in the email, but didn’t get any help. I also attempted to reach the main office, but received no response. I had planned to use the Chocolate Gift Box as a surprise for a party on the 18th, which I couldn’t do. On December 19, someone from the head office replied to my email to give me the correct contact number. I am very disappointed.

I have long been a fan and purchaser of Dello Mano brownies and cakes so should not have been surprised that the ricotta cheesecake we ordered for a staff members' birthday today was hands-down the best cheesecake I have ever eaten.... not just me, but everyone who tried it agreed. Brilliant!
