As a long time returning loyal costumer I’m absolutely disgusted in the service.
No communication, no one answered the phone, no phone call back to discuss my order.
I ordered a Red Velvet cake to be delivered on Friday 31st Jan for my son’s first birthday.
When it was delivered we opened to have a look and it was damaged beyond fixable. I ran outside hailed the delivery driver told him to come inside and look at the cake and when I told him it was clearly damaged during transport and told him it was unacceptable he tried to deny it and say he’s just the delivery driver and the cake was in a small box that’s why it’s damaged.
The cake was a big disappointment, the cream cheese icing was cracked and tasted like it had been in a fridge for a week, you could see by looking at the cake the crumb coat had not been done properly. The cake was dry, we tasted it, it was dryer than the Sahara desert. It is evident that the cake was clearly not fresh. It definitely was not made the day prior as you would minimally expect coming Luxury Italian bakery?
I am still awaiting a call back regarding a total refund of both the cake and delivery.
The overall service was poor, it would have been a complete embarrassment to serve this cake to guests.
