Dells of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area

If you haven't been than you need to visit. The town has a little of everything. You can take a 2 hour boat trip with stops for you to get off at to walk around...It's a beautiful place..They have a big amusement /Waterpark there and if you stay in one of their hotels you have free access to both parks for every day your there. So much to see and do..they have ticket booths all around to buy tickets to all the attractions

Guided boat tours lasting for 2 hours was really exciting. The guide was keeping the tourists engaged for the entire ride duration. They were explaining all the attractions en route the sail. There were 2 stops in between for concessions and refreshments also. Worth for the money.

The views are absolutely breathtaking—everywhere you turn, there’s another stunning scene just waiting to be admired. Whether you’re standing at the edge of a gorge or looking out over the river, the natural beauty is overwhelming in the best possible way. 🌅 As I explored the trails, I felt like I was on a true adventure. The lush greenery, the gentle sound of the river flowing by, and the sight of wildlife darting in and out of the trees made it feel like I was in my own little nature movie. 🎥 Every twist and turn revealed something new and exciting, from hidden coves to jaw-dropping lookout points. And let’s talk about those views—wow! 🌄 You can’t help but stop and just take it all in. The combination of the majestic cliffs, the beautiful Wisconsin River, and the vibrant foliage makes for a landscape that’s both dramatic and peaceful. A wonderful place. This place should be visited by everyone at least once in their life. Excellent nature. Thick forests, a lot of greenery, clean and warm water. There is a lot of entertainment for everyone. I will definitely go there more than once.

Took the boat ride which was absolutely amazing!!! At first we got lost cause our GPS took us to some place where we couldn’t see the rocks up at Chula vista resort and some guy helped us….In order to see the rocks….you have to buy tickets at Downtown Wis Dells at the Dells Boat Tours. You get shuttled to the Boat! Water is $4 a bottle at their concession so remember to bring your own water. The 2 lady guides on the boat ride were absolutely fantastic!

The Dells of the Wisconsin River scenic and natural area is an awesome area to hike around and see some natural beauty and scenic views. We hiked around the area for probably about an hour and a half and got to see wonderful river views, some great geological features, beautiful trees and some amazing wildlife. They even had a nice sand beach down by the river from the loop trail. The hike to get to the river from the parking lot is not too far or strenuous.

This is a great view. We took the Upper Dells boat trip. The Wisconsin River is beautiful in this area with a lot of history.

Very beautiful view from the boat and at each of the stops! I would say I would go here again and I would definitely recommend others go on it too!!
