Absolutely wonderful. So friendly and helpful with amazing food and coffee. They do breakfast and lunch and deliver. Had the most amazing madras curry. Chef is nepalese and can't fault anything. They even did us a grazing box to take away for $45 fabulous.

Always fabulous to drop in here whenever we're in the area or getting on or off the spirit of Tasmania ferry. Fresh, tasty food with table service. Highly recommended with ever changing specials

Visiting from Queensland, my local Tassy friends took me out for lunch at Deloraine Deli, saying they stop in every time they visit the area because the food is always so good. We sat outside (with a pram in tow) in the beautiful courtyard where there was plenty of sunny and shady positions to choose from. The beef bacon and cheese burger was perfect - very tasty, and not too heavy. The chips crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Yummo.

Dropped in for lunch and the soup was not nice at all. It was ‘Velvet chicken and corn’ and was like a bowl of minced chicken with corn and very little ‘ broth’, taste was ok but it was weird. The cheesy garlic bread was delicious and the coffee was ok. Staff lovely and friendly. $19 My friend had a $27 steak sandwich which was underwhelming not even a few chips on the side.

Great coffee!!! Was the first person in for coffee that day. It's was that good we came back after our trip to cradle mountain and was the last coffee customer of the day. As well as great food, they have lots of products, chocolates and cakes. Lots of space for groups or large families. Highly recommended.

Dropped in here for a quick bite and coffee. Heaps of seating inside or out, reasonable selection of cakes though astronomically priced $12.50 a slice is ludicrous! Coffee was nice, staff friendly, food okay.

Deloraine Deli, how dare you. My experience today was appalling. After finishing our food and drinks, my companion and I were approached by a masked wearing waitress. Her initial interaction was very condescending and made comment regarding a small mess on the table. This embarrassed my companion who has a condition and has issues with coordination. I asked her not to make a deal of it but then she made further comment and spoke to her like a child. (We are 50's and 60's). She then proceeded to clear the table getting very close to us. I asked her to step back please as my companion is immuno compromised and that I don't trust people wearing masks as it generally is a sign they are sick. She then informed us that she is recovering from a cold and still has a lingering cough. Wow. She then proceeded to get even closer to us, I'm talking inches here. I repeated my request to please step back. Again to no avail standing her ground. Wow again. My third request was like a plea, leave us alone pleeease. After another comment that she understood and looking at us like little children, she finally went away. Another Wow. I was so shocked by this whole encounter i went and made a complaint to another server and asked for a manager or owner to be informed. The same server then came to our table a few minutes later and informed me that the owner/manager was aware and their policy was to allow staff who were sisk or recovering from illness to work but whilst wearing a mask. Are you serious, in a service industry that is handling food. Double double wow. I commented that I wasn't impressed and I would never return. A few minutes later another woman who i take was the owner or manager ( no introductions) aggressively approached me and kicked off about their policy once again and if it was good enough during Covid it was good enough now. ( in fact it wasn't good enough during covid, that's why we were locked down and not allowed out anwhere). I said what has this got to do with covid, it's about respecting someone's right to keep their distance from a sick person. She then doubled down and told me not to raise my voice to her staff. I hadn't raised my voice once during this whole saga. Wow yet again, what a way to treat your paying customers. I was and still am stunned. To the owners, good experiences are passed on to 4 or 5 people. Bad experiences are shared over 10 times. Keep that in mind when dealing with genuine complaints. Your attitude to this was way worse than the initial incident. So again, how dare you. How dare you trivialise people's health and safety, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Your response to this review is a typical case of gaslighting... That is to put the blame on the victim to deflect any onus on you to take responsibility. Deloraine Deli, you will never find resolutions when you are looking for conflict. Pathetic !!

Came here for breakfast on the way to Cradle Mountain. Ordered the Spanish grande which was delicious, especially the chorizo. Also ordered the muesli, which came with a little pot of normal milk but am lactose intolerant so just wish it was stated on the menu that it comes with this so I could swap it out for a milk alternative. Prices were reasonable and staff were friendly.

Yelp
We came here for a late lunch and the service was excellent - they were very accommodating when they learned our group needed vegan options and helped us find meals that suited. Unfortunately the food was pretty average and way overpriced - as travellers in the area it's definitely not something we'd come back to.

Yelp
One of my most favorite places to eat! Deloraine is a quaint little town and a nice break from the city. The owner, Grant, is a very nice guy. The food is amazing. My favorite items are the "Hot & Spicy" and the "Turkey Works"
