Deloraine Deli

The food tastes fresh, it's rather pricy for the portion. $9 for a small portion of chips 10 big pieces and 10 small ones. The baguette is half the size of Subway for $20. The desert is too sweet. The food presentation is amazing. The place is very cozy and spacious. Clean toilet, good service.

Worth stopping here or detouring for coffee and lunch! Service was outstanding, the gentleman could not do more for us (clearly the owner with a passion for what he does). Baguettes freshly baked and beautiful! All our lunches were absolutely amazing! Coffee was great too, and we even went back later same day for another.

Absolutely wonderful. So friendly and helpful with amazing food and coffee. They do breakfast and lunch and deliver. Had the most amazing madras curry. Chef is nepalese and can't fault anything. They even did us a grazing box to take away for $45 fabulous.

Great! place for a coffee and cake . Nice homemade brownie. Lemon cake was also nice . Highly recommend you visit.

Called in for breakfast on a Friday morning. Ordered a basic bowl of muesli. This came beautifully presented with portions of muesli, yoghurt, divine in-house poached fruits and a side of milk. A perfect purple nasturtium completed the visual. Understood very quickly why it is a local favourite.

Hamburger was excellent, pickled cucumber (home made) was the right combination giving the burger a great taste. Meat Patti was flavoursome and well cooked, chips on the side were crunchy without being overly oily.

Visiting from Queensland, my local Tassy friends took me out for lunch at Deloraine Deli, saying they stop in every time they visit the area because the food is always so good. We sat outside (with a pram in tow) in the beautiful courtyard where there was plenty of sunny and shady positions to choose from. The beef bacon and cheese burger was perfect - very tasty, and not too heavy. The chips crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Yummo.

We came here for a late lunch and the service was excellent - they were very accommodating when they learned our group needed vegan options and helped us find meals that suited. Unfortunately the food was pretty average and way overpriced - as travellers in the area it's definitely not something we'd come back to.

One of my most favorite places to eat! Deloraine is a quaint little town and a nice break from the city. The owner, Grant, is a very nice guy. The food is amazing. My favorite items are the "Hot & Spicy" and the "Turkey Works"
