Enjoyed the time spent here. It’s a dream come true to visit the temple of Apollo and this museum. Visited Athens in February 2020 but did not have the time to come to Delphi. We were lucky that the tickets to both attractions were free. First Saturday every month as explained by ticket booth operator when queried.

A fantastic museum! It was an incredible visit and a captivating journey through the rich history of the cradle of Greek civilization. The exhibits beautifully capture the essence of a culture that once considered itself the center of the world. Truly unforgettable!

It's a truly beautiful site. Hard but feasible to climb on the top because there is a lot to see on the way and the stadium is worth a look. Also the theatre is beautiful from the top. Good shoes are recommended as well as fresh water (there is a fountain on the way but the water is tepid). We didn't see the museum.

One of the better archaeological site and museums. I could have happily spent a day or 2 there. In the top 5 on my list. Also, it is nested in such a scenery that it was unforgettable.

The Delphi Museum is a really nice place. If you are interested in ancient Greek mythology characters, you should definitely visit it. My personal recommendation would be to visit the Thebes Museum before or after. We went to the Thebes Museum first on our way back from Athens and then visited Delphi. The ancient ruins can be a bit challenging in very hot weather, so definitely bring water and a hat. You can enter the museum with a 6 euro ticket. You can also visit the ancient city with the same ticket. The statues inside are magnificent. It is a complex that requires at least two or three hours. When you enter the ancient city, you will climb a lot of stairs. The ruins on the right and left until you reach the Temple of Apollo are treasure houses. Various city-states had such treasure houses built to show how much they valued Delphi, where they kept various war spoils and donations. The stadium was closed when we went. We could only see the temple and the theater. It was still very beautiful.

Delphi is best known for the oracle at the Temple of Apollo during the classical period. Our day began with a visit to the Museum of Delphi, where we saw the Charioteer, one of the best bronze statues ever. We then visited the Archaeological Site of Delphi, where we saw, among other things, the Temple of Apollo, the Ancient Theatre, and the Stadium. We had to climb all the way to the top just to see the last one! But it was well worth the effort. Here are some photos taken at the Museum of Delphi.

After visiting the Sanctuary of the Apollo and listening to our tour guide give us the history, we visited the Museum. The museum is filled w artifacts that were discovered at the Sanctuary of the Apollo. It was great to have a guide pointing out the highlights. It is a good idea to see the Museum after Sanctuary. Be prepared by wearing sneakers as you walk through the Sanctuary. The ground is uneven and slippery. Bring water it will be hot. Great views all around.

The Delphi Archaeological Museum is an absolute must-visit for history lovers and anyone fascinated by ancient Greece. Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Mount Parnassus, this museum houses some of the most significant artifacts from the ancient sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi, one of the most revered religious sites of antiquity.
