Great trail as I rode a large portion of it. Well maintained.

Love the historical concept behind the park. Not a very big museum but it was very educational. Loved the architectural concept of the park. The brides were not open when we went, however one is due to open this year(2025). I will have to return to catch this exhibit. Thank you to the staff for very informative education. I do recommend this park there's something here for everyone.

As an outdoor adventurer, state parks are my go to place to visit. Delta Heritage Trail State Park was an absolute delight. The trails are absolutely beautiful. I unfortunately was so enthralled with this one I forgot to take pictures lol. As a photographer this is definitely a photo opportunity for portraits. If you are looking for the gift shop to add to your collection of Arkansas State parks, this is one that needs to be visited. Especially if your next stop is 26 minutes down the road to The Louisiana Purchase State Park. If you are looking to get your Arkansas Passport stamped they do have a stamp inside. If you visit after closing, they also have a Passport station outside. Both convenient obviously. They have bathrooms if you need a pit stop before heading to the next stop. The staff is helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. There are lots to do in the area as well if you want to make a day. Picnic areas, bathrooms, trails to explore. Down the road is restaurants, gas stations and more. D.H.T. State Park is sitting in a historical part of Arkansas that has much to offer. This is definitely one you would need to take your time to explore. As a historian, this one is a gem!

A small, but quiet park. Primitive tent camping. Visitors center isn't much, but the man on duty was very friendly and informative. He had knowledge of several state parks in the area and the eastern side of Arkansas. He was even a bit knowledgeable about a few parks on the other side of the state. Not to take away from him, but the speckled king snake on display is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Absolutely stunning. Not much else to do here except hike and bike.

My son and I went on a bike ride on the trail. Rode the first 18 miles all while doing a geocache' run. Clean, smooth, not busy. Most of all it was a peaceful ride.

Camping is OPEN since June 1st. Had a great night's stay here. Fee is $14, pay at front if no envelopes in the box. If beyond closing time, just pay in the morning. Sites are walk-in only, park vehicles in the parking lot. I suggest if you need water, use the refill station near the cycle repair spot in the parking lot. Sites are in excellent condition just watch out for the slippery wood lining the gravel. Highly reccomend coming here for a primitive night's stay!

Nice place. The park ranger was there on a sunday and he was funny and nice. Told us about the snake and the parks close by.

Rode bike 50 miles. About half shaded by trees. Got to keep moving otherwise the knats will swarm you. Really enjoyed the scenery.

Yelp
This is such a nice recreational area. The visitors' center has friendly, helpful staff members. The restrooms are spotlessly clean.

Yelp
The trail is pretty and and nice place for a walk. I haven't walked the whole trail so I can't say much about anything further than 2 miles in either direction from the trail head. When walking be sure to go early enough or bring a flashlight cause only the sun goes down you can't see anything. The trail is surrounded by farm land and it is nice to see. Once I was serenaded by some frogs that were out in the fields. They aren't the best singers but I am happy they still choose to sing. Another time there was a small plane flying around and he was so close it almost felt like you could reach up and touch the plane. There is nothing really fancy about this trail but I enjoy it.

Yelp
Enjoyed a nice take out lunch of Pasquale's tamales from nearby T-Mac's Catfish Cabin & Delta BBQ just up the highway. The picnic area is located just below the highway overpass and along the rail-to-trail conversion. Several tables are available with many in shade during lunch. The visitor center is still a work in progress but offers three bikes for rent at just $2/hour. You'll also find cold soft drinks and some keepsakes. You can also pay for tent camping here as well. The park offers three tent pads with tables and lamp stands along with water and trash bins. The trail is nicely maintained, but very straight as its a former rail line. We ventured south away from the highway and turned around at a nearby wooden bridge. We'll likely return to this undiscovered park to stretch our legs on trips through Helena. We invite you to join us by grabbing a meal or a snack from nearby Helena or Marvel and then take a pleasant walk Delta style (slow).

Yelp
First off, great little park. Although there are very few camp sites they were well maintained and the facilities were terrific as well. The trail, an old railroad track, is a great bike ride with plenty of tree cover on sunny days, but includes a caveat that there are quite a few gates at the road crossings that are a little difficult to navigate initially. We rode the trail to Elaine and back, around forty miles, with only one flat tire thankfully we had a spare tube. There is no water on the trail so make sure you bring plenty, it would not hurt if the Park Service put in a water spigot at the Lake View station. The Ranger was very professional, knowledgeable and exceptionally hospitable, even to the point that she spent her days off to help us have a great experience. While the Ranger had things well under control, it seemed like she could use another couple of hands around there and perhaps a little more funding to really cinch it up nice. I have to admit though, despite being a smaller park and only having one Ranger assigned to it, this park was better run than some of the larger State Parks in Arkansas.

Yelp
A great running trail. It's an old railroad that has had the tracks removed. Has .5 mile markers throughout. Even shortly after a rain the track is dry enough to run or bicycle.
