I stayed here for a few days in late July for my birthday. I originally picked this hotel because it was close to the water. Seeing that I could get to the metro from the hotel was a pleasant surprise. I landed in Toronto a bit earlier than standard check-in time, and they could still accommodate me. I even asked to get a different room since it was no longer necessary for me to have a double queen. My room had a stunning harbor view with windows all around. Having the bathroom facing the window and right above the bar was awkward, but who doesn't love a little show? The view was gorgeous. I could see the Rogers' stadium, the aquarium, the in-hotel bar patio, and most importantly, the water for my room. My maid did a great job cleaning the room and the bathtub that I had in the middle of the bathroom. I did not see any stray hairs or fingerprints anywhere. Very easy to get here coming from the metro station. The check-in receptionist was friendly and accommodated me when I goofed up and left my hotel keys in my room. The only thing I will warn people about is game day. When returning to your hotel during a Blue Jays' game, an attendant watches the elevator and only lets up one family at a time. There was a line out to the middle of the lobby. This was a bit of an inconvenience as I just left out for a little midnight snack and now had to wait in line with drunk people. I just wanted to get to my room and eat in peace. Highly recommend this hotel. However, please keep in mind the time the hockey games let out.

Delta Hotel Toronto is our absolute favourite hotel in the city. If we ever stay somewhere else, we always think "we should've just stayed at the Delta" and we are SO glad we did this time.||Check in was a breeze, the staff member was friendly and quick. While we were waiting in line they offered us coffee or water (incredible) and lollipops for our child! The hotel is in the perfect location to anything you'd want to do in Toronto and is surrounded by plenty of delicious restaurants. Parking is a breeze to get in and out of and so reasonably priced given the location. The hotel has access to Path which makes getting to all the hotspots a complete breeze. ||The room was HUGE, clean, comfy beds and the bathroom is awesome. Every single staff member we encountered on our stay was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. The pool was recently renovated and is a comfortable temperature, big and the view of the CN Tower doesn't hurt. ||The view from the 22nd floor overlooking the aquarium, Rogers Center and CN Tower is breathtaking. ||Thanks for a lovely night away, Delta!

We arrived at the Delta Marriott late afternoon after a four hour flight delay. Check in was efficient. Our Club Room was on the highest floor and had a great view of the Toronto skyline. Everything in the room was perfect. We has access to the Club lounge and it was convenient in the morning to wake up to a cup of coffee. They had a wide arrangement of breakfast food including scrambled eggs and meat. We chose to eat later at the restaurant which had a buffet and regular menu. Food and service were excellent and I suggest you get the breakfast plan if you want to eat at the restaurant as it is a little costly. The Delta also has the Sky Path which takes you to the baseball stadium and CN Tower. You can also use this underground path to walk to downtown without going outside. There are many stores and food courts as you use this underground path. It took us a day or two to master this Sky Path. All in all, the hotel was great and in a convenient location and staff were hospitable and efficient.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Delta Hotel, and I can’t say enough great things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and professionalism. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process seamless. The room was immaculate—modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. The bed was especially comfortable, and the amenities provided made my stay feel luxurious yet homey. I also appreciated the quiet environment, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The hotel’s location was perfect for both business and leisure, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. The on-site restaurant exceeded my expectations, offering delicious meals and excellent service. What truly sets the Delta Hotel apart is the attention to detail and the commitment to guest satisfaction. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and genuinely helpful, going out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Delta Hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch stay. I will definitely be returning!

We stayed 4 nights at the Delta. Our room had amazing views, it was stunning. The room itself was large and very nice. The downsides were the bathroom - it took forever for the shower to heat up and the water pressure was weak. We had access to the lounge, which has nice views, but was a bit crowded always. Still, it's a nice perk if you have status or upgrade. The staff at the hotel was terrific. The location is great. It was a good experience.

Had an amazing 1 night stay at the Delta. Our corner room had the most incredible view of the city, it felt like a honeymoon. We went to the rooftop bar for apps and drinks which did not disappoint and there was an awesome dj. Mark at the front desk was super helpful! Thank you Mark!

This hotel is in a great location - in walking distance or PATH access to so much like CN Tower, Blue Jays game, the aquarium, Hockey HOFame, markets and more. The staff was extremely friendly, and the rooms were always cleaned well. |Two things to consider if it matters to you:|1 - The door to the bathrooms in our room is so close to one of the beds, and while it has an opaque center, you can still see shadows of the people in there. |2 - The restaurants are a bit unique, which while it fits the vibe of the hotel, you might want to consider another local place for at least breakfast or fast lunch (several places nearby). |We felt very welcome there, and the items noted do not outweigh how nice our stay was.

Stayed at the hotel for business travel. It is right in the middle of everything and steps away from the Convention Center, the CN tower and multiple restaurants and shops. Staff is always polite and helpful. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. I was on the 8th floor overlooking the train tracks and there was no noise I could hear so sleep was good. I loved the ample room in the bathroom for all my toiletries and makeup items, shower was spacious as well. We tried the hotel restaurant SOCO a few times and it offered great food with great service as well. Recommend “The Six” for dessert and their charcuterie board.

Yelp
I would say this is more of a 3-star hotel than 2-star :-) Clean, fresh, awesome location and view (if available). Club lounge is large (and can be very busy), please note the opening times. Beer and wine is available. The 6 elevators are in two sets, depending if you are going above the 25th floor or below. It does go fast to go above the 25 floor (very smooth) and you can feel a pop in your ears :-) Due to the hotel location and size, it did appear to be a wait is normal and doors appear to take forever to open. LOL Service is quick at the front desk and very helpful. Valet seemed busy due to the location and surrounding space :-) Local Uber usage was fast and prompt for our needs. Underground parking is very large and costs may vary depending on local events (which will also fill up the whole garage) and day of the week. Will definitely be back if in the downtown area again.

Yelp
Delta Hotels Toronto Review: "A Mixed Bag of Mediocrity Date of Stay: December 17th, 2024 Purpose: Overnight getaway as Ambassador Elite members We arrived at 11:45 a.m. for our 11 a.m. early check-in, only to meet Lulu at the front desk--a master of monotone and acrylic-nail tapping. She dismissed us with "Room is not ready" despite our Ambassador Elite status. We killed time in the 46th-floor lounge at 12:15 p.m. with cookies, drinks, and amazing CN Tower views--but scenery doesn't count as lunch. The Room Finally got in at 2:40 p.m. We had to insist on a 4 p.m. late checkout (an actual perk). The seventh-floor room was spacious with a great view but had unemptied trash, yellow-tinted lighting, basic showerheads, and aging TVs (hello, YouTube audio-sync issues). A blinking bulb was never replaced, despite Lulu's promise. Amenities The 4th-floor hot tub was fine if you could ignore the shrieking kids nearby. SOCO was closed for renovations (news to us), so we settled for lounge hors d'oeuvres--saved by self-serve Maker's Mark. Breakfast was the standard bacon-eggs-fruit buffet. The Bed A king bed of average comfort--fine for one night, but you'd regret it after a few sleeps. Final Thoughts Stunning views can't hide mediocre service and housekeeping. Ambassador Elite perks felt like lip service, not actual VIP treatment. Would I return? No. * Complained to: customer.care@marriott.com and left a Google review.

Yelp
I have been travelling extensively for business for two decades and I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly during my travels so I usually do not expect much. The Delta hotel proved to be one of the greatest hotel experiences I had in the past few years and its superb service really restored my faith in the hotel industry. I was in Toronto for a tradeshow and most of the hotels were booked. I was greeted promptly at check-in and offered a surprise upgrade (I have Marriott status but usually nobody cares) which turned out to be a corner suite in the 9th floor, with gorgeous views of the CN Tower. The hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from the Union Station, the Ripley's Aquarium, the Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena as well as the Metro Toronto Convention Center. There is a lot of restaurants in close proximity which made my trip much easier. The room was spotless clean and the staff is professional, courteous and eager to help. I would gladly stay here during my next trips to Toronto.

Yelp
I stayed here for a conference in July. I stayed in the larger suite with king bed, sofa, and corner room. It was fantastic! The room was gigantic. It had a very comfortable living room area with pull out sofa. The king bedroom was also ample. Desk, chair with foot rest, large TV and large bed. The bathroom was very large with floor to ceiling windows. See all the pictures, it is great for up to four people comfortably without needing any roll away beds. I would stay again! The executive lounge on the 46th floor was fantastic, amply sized, plenty of views, great service, and great options throughout the day and night 6a - 10p.

Yelp
I stayed here for a work trip and love the location, modern aesthetics, comfortable rooms and service. Delta is part of the Marriott portfolio so you can use your Bonvoy benefits. The rooms are equipped with a shower, soapbox toiletries, safe, tv, fridge and faux hardwood floors. These are so much cleaner than carpets and love the sleek design. I was on the 35th floor and had an amazing city view. There is a club lounge on the top floor and gym and pool on the 4th floor. I ordered room service from Soco and the burger and caesar salad were amazing. I forgot a few items and requested them in the app and they were immediately delivered. The hotel is close to the train station and in a prime location to walk. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Yelp
We walked into a beautiful lobby. We had a long day of traveling so thankfully we were a quick 20 minute ride from the airport. The check in process was easy. I dress slighty homeless when I travel, so I'm always elated when I still receive excellent service. There is a bar in the lobby with a great bartender and an excellent whiskey selection. The view was amazing and the room was nice and clean. We were in walking distance of everything we came to do. We went to a concert at Scotia bank that was a 5 minute walk. The place was a bit pricey but worth it.

Yelp
This hotel exceeded all our expectations. Staff was amazing and hotel was clean and modern. We stayed for three nights and with Titanium status we got to enjoy the lounge--which was wonderful! Breakfast was served in the morning and hor devours in the evening with drinks and snacks all day. The hotel is so conveniently located in the center of everything--a short walk to union station, Scotia Bank Arena, Rogers Field, CN Tower and Ripleys Aquarium. There is even a skywalk that goes from the hotel to Union Station so you don't have to walk outside on the street when it's cold!! The Union Station Up Express train gets you directly to and from Pearson airport within 35-40 min and costs about $10/person. Can't rave enough about this hotel!!!

Yelp
I had the privilege to stay at the Delta Hotel by Marriott at their downtown location It is perfectly situated across from landmarks like the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium It is in walking distance of all these locations including sports venues like Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena There are a ton of restaurants located all around the area again all within walking distance of the hotel It is also conveniently close by Union Station if you are coming in from the airport from the UP Express I stayed for four nights here for a work conference that was accommodating teams from all over the world I would think that there likely was maybe 300-400 of us that had attended so being able to accommodate us all was impressive The front staff easily checked us in The rooms were super nice..... They were all clean and tidy I had the king bed ....it was super comfy Bathroom had a shower and was nicely lit The views from the hotel are nice depending on the floor you are on and where you are facing.....if you get a lakefront view....that is primo The gym/pool area is nice....the views from the pool are super nice.... Fresh towels are always available there I also liked the fact that it wasn't too busy there either There is a restaurant on site called Soho We had a meal there which I mention in another review that you can read up on Food during the event was super yummy I really enjoyed the pub style food they served us the first night....there was chicken slider that was really nice and the Korean BBQ wings they had were My tenderloin steak at the dinner event on Wednesday was awesome However there were two instances that I really wanted to compliment the staff on..... One instance was when I had forgotten my watch at the pool area..... I went to the front desk to ask if it was located in lost and found and sure enough they found it .....and they delivered it to my room from housekeeping The second instance was when I inadvertently left my room key in my room ....again I went to front desk and they easily were able to give me another..... Both times the staff there were courteous and friendly and asked how my stay was going ....and even when I ran into the staff in the hallway or elevator ....they asked how my stay was .....even when I was leaving today we bumped into a staff member and they thanked me for staying with them..... This type of customer service goes above and beyond which is what my company stands behind......and I want you to applaud them for that and making my along with my company's stay for the event an awesome experience

Yelp
Have you ever dreamed of going to the washroom while the whole city looks at you? Now possible! How? Privacy glass! This beautiful property overlooks the CN tower and condo wilderness. The floor to ceiling glass windows open up the world to you. It's an amazing opportunity to live a translucent life. Everywhere is glass. Like everywhere. This is a modern, nice, large hotel. Really well located, with excellent rooms and great facilities. Nicer than you think it's going to be. One watch out. It's an absurd $70 to valet park your car here. And they're stingy with elite benefits. This is a place where one can feel that unique sense of shameless that only exists in situations where the world potentially watches you defecate through giant glass windows.

Yelp
Where do I start? Check in was amazing. They were happy, smiling and so sweet!! I have a corner room high up ...omg the view!!!! I ate at their restaurant last night and left my jacket. The bartender told the hotel and they brought it back to me. Thank you! My 2nd night I ordered salmon at the SOCO... omg amazing I'm here one more night and really happy so far.

Yelp
This is a fantastic hotel with great amenities, clean modern rooms and wonderful room service meals. Stayed for work and will keep staying here each time I visit. Easily walkable to so many spots and well maintained and efficiently run.

Yelp
This review is specifically for the food in the lobby restaurant, Char No. 5 Whisky & Cocktail Lounge. I had the miso salmon and it was beautiful and a divine dance on my palate. I was so impressed and couldn't believe something this good could be served in a hotel lobby restaurant. It tasted like something from a Michelin starred restaurant...simply amazing. The bartender, Matt, was also friendly and made the menu recommendation. I'm so grateful to have experienced this dish. Just wow wow wow !!!!

Yelp
Visiting Toronto was an all-time great experience. The culture, the vibe, the people, and the sights were second to none. My family and I definitely enjoyed it. Delta Hitels was excellent in providing and assisting with a great vacation. The room and view were simply amazing. Location unbeatable. The courtesy and kindness from housekeeping to the front desk to the restaurant were above and beyond. The attitude of wanting to help no matter what the question was, I can honestly say I'll stay here again, no problem. Thank you again, Delta Toronto. Experiences like this are why I'm glad I'm Marriott member.

Yelp
Good location for Roger's Centre and Scotiabank Centre. Easy walk from UP Express and Union Station. Our room was clean and and had a great view of the city. There's a basic exercise room and pool. Refrigerator, iron, safe and good wifi. No ice machine on our floor but there are rumours one exists on another floor. The area is surprisingly dead at night ( tumbleweeds, crickets, apocalyptic feel) with not much open, and we could not find anything open in the hotel at 8:30 pm for dinner. There's some fast food and a convenience store across the street. We settled for Uber Eats but lack of food and beverage so early was surprising. Front desk service was excellent. Given the inconvenience for food and drinks, and vacant street activity I felt the price was too high. I would stay here again but it would have to be at a lower price.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent experience at the Delta Downtown Toronto. Great on-site amenities - including a well equipped fitness center and two restaurants. Housekeeping was too notch with super friendly staff. Special shout out to Ryilen and Kristin from the front desk staff who were amazing ambassadors of the Delta brand at check in and check out respectively.

Denise ..

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a great location! Great view!!The service was exceptional. Definitely a 5star experience!
google avatar

Freddie S.

Yelp
The 1 star only reflects on the Valet service. I understand that valet is contracted to Epic but it's ultimately a reflection on the Delta brand. If you don't have a nice car, you will be treated much differently.
google avatar

Gina L.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel. Amazing views. Great location. Friendly staff. I got upgraded to the corner suite and the views were very nice! They have a coffee shop so that makes it convenient to grab a coffee and pastry prior to starting your day. This hotel was within walking distance of the meeting point for my tours. Look no further!
google avatar

Jiren Z.

Yelp
TLDR: incorrect room description, only one chair in the room. I don't usually write reviews but this time I have to to prevent others from experiencing what we experienced. We booked a Harbour view king room and were surprised to find that the room only has one chair. The pictures and descriptions online said that there is a living and sitting area, but apparently there is not. The staff informed us that the hotel is recently renovated and the sofa is removed "for the best". I think they should update their fraudulent room descriptions asap. We were planning to work a bit but we can't both sit down due to the lack of another chair. Update: They resolved the issue and switched us to a different room the next morning.

Yelp
Very nice hotel. We had a corner room and windows on two sides of the room, great lighting and views. Bathroom nice.

Yelp
Stayed here during a business trip for Toronto. Can't say much as to value since work negotiated the rate. Place is large, but kind of in the middle of a lot of stuff. From the airport, there is a train that for 12.50 CAD will drop you about a 5 minute walk or so from the hotel. There apparently is also a skywalk we could have used, but I prefer to walk the city streets anyway to see what is around the hotel and the weather was nice. That said all of the staff was super friendly. The breakfast they catered for us the whole week was really good and the rooms were well kept and very clean. I did not get a chance to use the amenities so I can't give a full 5 star review, but given how everything else was, I imagine they are in good standing. The hotel is right between two arenas (hockey, basketball, and baseball) so I imagine it could probably get pretty crowded when games are happening. It is also next to the CN Tower. Definitely go up the tower at night and see the views of this gorgeous city if you have time. All in all, even though it was for work, I really enjoyed my week staying here. Also shoutout to the guy that brought me a Diet Pepsi at 11:30 when everything had closed. If I had any money with me, he would have gotten everything as he went way above and beyond!
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
This place is the absolute perfect location for tourists with families. The CN tower, steam whistle brewery, aquarium, are all a stone throw away. We walked everywhere and our room had an absolute beautiful view of the city. Plus our room was spacious. The only reason it was 4 stars is because their pool has a beautiful view but it's an absolute dump. For the premium price you pay for the room, everything should be pristine. I would think about staying here again because of the location, but would also consider a place with a nicer pool.
google avatar

Tracy B.

Yelp
Gorgeous property, excellent staff, extraordinary views. This place is so convenient if staying, working, or playing in downtown Toronto. I love walking here after a quick Up ride from the Airport.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
I really liked this hotel. The central location is great. The staff was very friendly and I appreciated the extras from the marriot bonvoy elite status. The room was clean, quiet, and had a decent view. i did not have a chance to try the restaraunt. It is close to a subway station and connected to the UP train from the airport. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Toronto.
google avatar

Nina S.

Yelp
Great hotel with awesome views! As people mentioned the only downside is elevator wait as if it's full you may wait a long time but everything else was great! I would definitely stay here again and do happy the lounge is open again! Gym and pool had good Covid control with sanitizers etc and booking system. The food was actually very good and happy with breakfast Value 3/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Service 4/5 Quality 4/5 15/20

Yelp
We checked in on Thursday morning and checked out Monday morning. The hotel is next to the CN Tower but our room didn't have the tower view and that is fine b/c I was able to look at the water while also looking down on part of the city. We got a room that had 2 beds and a bathroom. I will say that I loved the shower. In the shower there was a bar and the faucet was on the same side as the bar. The showerhead was on the opposite side which made it easier to shower and everything. I wonder if this is something that is common in Canada. Well I won't know til I come back again. The elevator apparently will let you know when it reaches the max weight limit and I know this b/c we stepped into it and it said it was at the max weight. The hotel is also connected to the PATH which was helpful.
google avatar

Oksana P.

Yelp
I usually don't write reviews, but I decided to write about my nice experience. Hotel is in a perfect location with walking distance to a lot of things. We stayed on the 35th floor with the view of the CN tower, brewery and water. Staff was friendly and very nice. Hotel was clean and felt very comfortable. We did self-parking and can't complain about it. Restaurants at the hotel were very good and entertaining. I would definitely stay there again.
google avatar

Ed U.

Yelp
If you want to be in the absolute center of Downtown Toronto, this hotel should meet most of your needs. It's a quick stroll away from the CN Tower or you can just take the PATH to Union Station without facing any inclement weather. I stayed in a King room with a city view for three nights because I had a work offsite in the office building next door. No complaints from an accommodations standpoint. All the touches were pretty luxe. If I paid myself, the C$185 nightly rate struck me as quite reasonable. What I thought was off were some of the supporting elements like an absurdly inconvenient elevator bank where wait times became excruciating. The front desk basically snowed me to accept a GreenStay discount which meant I had dirty sheets and towels for the duration of my stay. However, it's all about location, location, location, and Delta Toronto has that in spades. RELATED - Traveling to Toronto? Yelp
This is just the perfect hotel for people attending a conference at the nearby Metro Toronto Convention Center. It's a nice full service hotel with skywalk access to the convention center (3rd floor) and quick access via the UP express from the airport. I stayed for 3 nights and was able to try their buffet (1st floor), room service (tagliatelle with shrimp) and fitness facilities (4th floor). The rooms are nice and modern and have fabulous views (my room had a nice view of both the CN tower and the lake). The food at the hotel was excellent (for a hotel) and the fitness facilities are modern - (1) they have normal cardio equipment, dumbbells and kettlebells and (2) for people who are spin fanatics like myself, bring your spin shoes since their bikes are equipped to handle them. The elevators need improvement - they are too slow. With a big conference letting people out at the same time, the wait times were north of 5 minutes. Highly recommend this hotel and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I loved this hotel: the property is modern/comteporary and it is in great condition. The lobby is very nice and the rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. The room has all the amenities and floor to ceiling windows with a nice view of the city. The curtains are well installed to block out the light efficiently, without the laser slice of bright sunlight if you choose to sleep in. The location is the best, right in the center of downtown with a lot of options around. It has a hallway that connects the hotel directly with the central station in 5 minutes. From there you can also catch the express airpot ain as well. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful all the time. I totally recommend the hotel and I will stay again on my next trip to Toronto.

Yelp
Loved my Trip in Toronto but Hotel was not as well loved. We stayed in the King Corner room with deep soak tub, the tub was enough so you could sit in the tub with ur shoulders peaked out but not enough to soak without kicking ur partner in the face. I'm 5'6 btw. The view was pretty good, I told them it was my birthday and asked for cn tower view but I never recieved It, that's alright I live nearby and can just visit again for it later. COVID: since covid started they've stopped room service and cleaning. They only allow a slight tidying which basically is them fetching all the dirty towels and replacing them. THE AC ISNT REAL lmaoo, imagine hot soaking in a bath tub right next to your room and the whole 2 rooms being hot and steamy. We'll thats exactly what it was like. The fan turns on but it's not room AC and never cools down to a 18c. Also there are no windows to open are only solution was to open the door to the hallways and letting air in that way. WIFI never works, they have some weird signal block that doesn't allow you to use certain websites. Our only option tk watch movies was Netflix or YouTube everything else does not work and to stream ur phone yo your TV requires the password to work so that never came to fruition WORST LIGHT BLOCKING ever, you are Mayne sleep to 8:30 before waking up because the bathroom thats right next to the bed is made of glass and beams the morning sunlight to you.. its not an option to sleep. Bed + Pillows, you get 4 long pillows but not at all firm slept terrible.

Yelp
This Toronto hotel is located in the Entertainment District on Lower Simcoe St. Front desk staff are friendly and accommodating; be nice at a minimum and you'll get that in return. This is my first visit to this Delta Hotel; very nice lobby! I'm only here to visit guests staying in 4 rooms and they said the rooms were very nice so I can't speak first-hand of the experience.  Just keeping my social distance with the COVID-19 situation and the safety of all. This hotel has parking and breakfast for guests available at a surcharge. WiFi is free. Many amenities like the fitness room and swimming pool are closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Yelp
Rogers Centre where we saw Beyoncé. We stayed three additional days and couldn't have had a more enjoyable stay. The phone the room didn't work but service can be requested from the Bonvoy app and we received towels and washcloths within 5 minutes after we figured that out. Rooms are recently renovated and meet Marriott quality.

Just want to say it's a convenient hotel ! Hotel Follows proper protocol and very clean. Did not see spa or gym. Elevators to the 32nd floor is incredibly slow. BEWARE of valet services and them Offering rides around town or airport! DELTA HOTEL if you are not affiliated with them you should know what type of crooks u have who are CONNING your guests in the lobby of your hotel. Valet guy told us to the airport the cost would be 60 dollars looked at our luggage and considered all the ones we had. Pulled the vehicle for us , communicated to the driver and we got in the car. DRIVER had no masks and sweat pants! When we arrive at the airport he says 100 dollars! My boyfriend told him he was quoted 60. He said due to luggage. We didn't argue back. TOTALLy unacceptable . A con artist. We We're quoted different by valet inside of the hotel. It's a shame DELTA hotel, take note even if u r not affiliated, do you really want your guests to remember they were bamboozled in YOUR lobby!? You should not let YOUR valet men be inside men inside YOUR HOTEL.

Yelp
Great hotel! Very handy area and walking distance to the train station and the Scotia Bank Arena. Lots of restaurants in the area as well. We got upgraded and we were able to access the lounge for a delicious breakfast that included bacon, eggs, sausage and potatoes. They also had pastries, cereal and fruit. The lounge offered finger sandwiches, cheese and salami and desserts late afternoon. Will stay at this location the next time we are in town. Location and amenities were great. Front Desk staff was nice. The only negative is the bouncy elevator that makes you feel like you are on the Tower of Terror ride. The kids on the elevator seemed to get a kick out of it. We didn't experience the long wait times others expressed.

Yelp
Excellent location if you want to be near the ACC and the metro. It's about a 7 minutes walk to the arena (and you can cut through the PATH walkway), and its adjacent to the hotel (you don't even have to go outside). Same direction is the metro which can connect you anywhere, even the airport. There's even a Starbucks, Tim Hortons and food court nearby, and you can cut through the 2nd level. The room I had was on the 5th floor overlooking the train station. My friend had a similar room and said it kept her up all night. I didn't have the problem, but then again I am a heavy sleeper. The bathroom was amazing. Don't laugh... I really did like the great pressure the shower gave. Its a roomy shower and I felt like I was at the spa. I wasn't thrilled with the toiletries they provided, very strong perfume scent. Lucky I was there for 2 nights, so I just dealt with it. The rooms are not that large but its functional. There's hooks on the wall to hang your coat, which beats the small closet they provide. There's ample places to store your stuff, from the closet and drawers. They even give free bottled water and coffee/ tea service. I didn't park the car but they offer valet. I did hire a bus to take us to Buffalo, and the valet was able to direct the driver to the right driveway to pick us up.

Yelp
Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto is conveniently located in downtown Toronto and in walking distance to most tourist area. And since it is so close to Union Station, you can hop on the Subway, UP Express, VIA Train, Go Transit and all these would connect you to anywhere around the City proper and the rest of GTA and beyond! The hotel itself is relatively new and well maintained! My room is spacious and well appointed. And the view probably one of the best in the area with CN Tower and Lake Ontario. Soco Restaurant the main hotel restaurant has a great menu and good food. I don't really expect much from a hotel restaurant but it exceeded my expectation and the price is really reasonable too! Sadly Char No 5 was not open during my last visit. I would be back for a drink next time to sip on some Canadian Whiskey. Highly recommended as a Staycation Hotel even if you are locals. Pet friendly is always a plus!

Yelp
We were in town to visit Niagara Falls and spend a day in Toronto prior to heading on the train to Montreal. We made the mistake of spending the first night in a hotel in Mississauga and wish we had spent both nights here instead! The lobby is grand and beautiful with comfortable chairs dotted throughout. The soaps/bath potions and fragrance emanating from the lobby remind of one of my favorite Issey Miyaki perfumes. The rooms have beautiful views of the Toronto skyline and the hotel is opposite CN Tower. Our room has a view of union station which I know some might not appreciate but our six year old was fascinated watching the trains going in and out of the yard. Traffic was a bit of a mess arriving but we appreciate that this is so close to Union Station given our early morning train. It is only walking distance to some great restaurants! If only we weren't leaving after one night!

Yelp
Get a harbor view room!! We stayed on one of the upper floors (40th floor I think) and the view was spectacular. PATH skywalks run right next to the hotel and you can access them on the third floor. There's no signage or anything, you walk out a door and you're on the elevated walkway through downtown. To get there from the airport os very easy, we took the train inside the Toronto airport to Union Station downtown and it was a 5 minute walk via the elevated skyway to the hotel. If you keep going past the hotel on the skyway it will take you directly to CN tower. It's a very pricey hotel but the location and the view easily make up for the cost.

Yelp
I mean, yeah, it was fine. The room was serviceable, but as another reviewer mentions the Air Conditioning isn't great. We had a corner room so the view was pretty good, but we were sticky and uncomfortable the whole night which isn't ideal in Toronto in August because generally you want the indoors to feel less humid than outside. For the price, the value just isn't there. The bedding, pillows, duvet, etc. all felt hot and cheep, not the cool soft luxurious feel that you want from hotel bedding. If you want value for your money do yourself a favour and go to the St. Regis across the street. Oh, and it doesn't make any sense to me why hotel guests aren't able to get dinner reservations at the hotel restaurant? SoCo is listed on their website as the Mariott's restaurant, but don't hold your breath for a reservation as you'll have to get in line with the rest of the peasants and tourists flocking to the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium.

Yelp
It's a very nice hotel and conveniently located so close to everything, restaurants, the market, CN tower, the convention center where the conference was for work. It was just annoying waiting for the elevator for a while since I was on the 37th floor. There was a very nice man located near the doors where Uber picks you up. I was waiting for a vehicle to pick me up for the Niagara Falls tour but I didn't know who the driver was and whether I was gonna get picked up in a car or a bus. That man saw that I was waiting for something and I told him and he went out of his way to ask around and cross the streets to find it. He remembered me after a couple days asking how the tour went. I wish I got his name but he's always standing near those doors and he wears glasses. He made my stay so much better and he helps with the luggage when you get an Uber.

Yelp
The girl working the front desk late Saturday night around 1:45am (March 24) was the rudest hotel employee I have ever encountered in my 20+ years of travelling. It is insane she has a job in hospitality, considering how inhospitable she is.

Yelp
The Delta in Toronto is definitely one of the nicest places to stay in Toronto. When you arrive at the Delta, The driveway is massive for being in the heart of the city. Upon walking in the huge lobby area is vast ! The front desk on the right is also sizable ! There were a number of people checking in, but luckily I have Titanium status so I was able to make use of the Bonvoy priority area. Was checked in, in less than 2 mins. Friendly and efficient ! Was told I was upgraded to the Club level floor. Arrived at the 46th floor and got into my room. First impression, Nice ! Clean, cool looking and easily +10 ft ceilings. The room was fantastic, totally quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately I was only staying one night. Made my way over to the club lounge. The lounge is a bit confusing. It's heavily fragmented and it feels like you are in a crowded house party, as you try to move past others to get into the next section. The selection of foods & drinks was more on par with Renaissance, instead of Deltas. Kudos to this Delta for stepping up the game here. The location of the Delta is fantastic. Steps away from Union Station, plenty of food/drink options, and in the heart of Toronto. When I'm back in Toronto, this Delta is my first choice.
