TailGate Brewery is one of our absolute go-to spots for a casual night out or when friends are in town and we want to show off a great local vibe. The Hot Honey and Whipped Ricotta pizzas are our favorites--Hot Honey brings the heat with amazing flavor, while Whipped Ricotta is a little sweeter and super satisfying. We usually split a small pizza and a side salad and satisfies all our cravings. They've got a rotating beer menu, which keeps things interesting, and the bartenders are always super helpful if you're not sure what to try. Getting a flight of beers is part of the fun--perfect way to sample something new every time. Keep in mind, Tailgate Music Row is a Texas A&M bar as well as the American Outlaws (AO) spot for US soccer games. It gets packed, loud, and super fun during big USA soccer matches and is THE spot to be for a U.S. match. Otherwise, the outdoor space is great when the weather's nice, and the vibe is always relaxed but lively. There is plenty of room both inside and outside to sit, which is nice both during winter and summer. All in all, TailGate Brewery nails it with solid food, great beer, and a really fun community vibe. Highly recommend!

The service at Tailgate Brewing was absolutely amazing!! We appreciated that the bar staff took the time to explain the different beers and drinks to our group. Also, they offer table service even on the outside patio. What was really amazing is the server heard me say my phone was dead and she offered to charge it for me. Wow, I was so impressed. Without a phone in Nashville you are pretty much dead in the water. She saved the day! Regarding the drinks, I was looking for something non-alcoholic and decided on the cotton candy dirty soda. It was good, but needed more cotton candy flavor. The outside patio is absolutely amazing with non covered and covered seating. We enjoyed sitting in the sunshine and watching the big screen TV.

We came in here to simply get a T-shirt and behold, I now dream about their beer as I returned home to another state. Honestly, I'm not even really a beer person but their Orangu Tang Sour was the best craft beer I've ever tried. Their taster pours were pretty much 3/4 of a full glass and every one we chose was outstanding! I pray one day they would make this available in Colorado. We bought some beer to take back to our hotel room as well. Additionally, the staff were so kind and helpful answering all our questions and making great recommendations. My only regret is that I didn't try the pizza however, every one that I stalked on other peoples table looked outstanding and made me slightly jealous!

Super kind people that work here! Very helpful with recommendations to help us find what we like. The cider was TO DIE FOR and we devoured the pizza. The environment was relaxed, casual and the people were super down to earth. Will definitely visit next time I'm in Nashville.

This place was easy to find and easy to park on a Monday night, but I can imagine on busy nights that isn't the case. There is a small parking light right in the side of it which you have to pay by the hour ($9.25 an hour) and it's immediately out of a traffic circle. You walk in and seat yourself and then order at the bar and they bring you your food. They have some good beers available and fun drinks if you get there early enough but we got there at 8 pm and they were out of all martinis which was a little weird. So we got beer and a mimosa. Both were decent. We got the Tennessee golden ale and something like a triple hazy IPA and they were both good. As for pizza you can get pretty much any kind of pizza but they also have specialty pizzas with set toppings which are delicious sounding. We ordered a meat lovers, the birria pizza, and a pineapple and hot honey pizza. They were all good but not out of this world. The meat lovers was good, would order again- had Canadian bacon, bacon, sausage slices, and pepperoni on it. The birria was also good, unique, had birria, cilantro, and lime on it with birria sauce on the side. It was good but not sure if I would order it again. The pineapple and hot honey was good but really heavy on the honey. Oh we also got appetizers, onion rings and pretzel bites. Both were A+! The prices were okay -nothing not expected at craft pizza place - A little high though and you have to pay for anything extra you can think of. You have to pay for red pepper and ranch and Parmesan which I personally find annoying but I get because some people get crazy with them. All in all I wouldn't come back alone or with m family I don't think but if someone else invited me I would eat here. (I'm from out of town though so take this with a grain of salt)

Another Nashville staple that mostly lives up to the hype. Not a beer person but the pizza was calling my name. Crust is perfectly golden while being chewy and crisp at the same time. The sausage and pepperoni both had unique flavors that were delicious. I did find the sauce to be pretty bland which is disappointing. The garlic knockers were also delicious, though definitely pricey. Overall a good time and a chill environment

Me and my boyfriend stopped in Nashville for his work and looked all over for somewhere to eat. We ended up parking by Tailgate and it had to of been for a reason because we enjoyed every bit! We started out with loaded taco fries which were phenomenal, then we ordered the Burrata Margherita pizza, and the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. They were both amazing and it was so hard not to finish but the portions are great and there was no way we could eat it all! We will definitely be recommending this to everyone who is in Nashville! Environment and staff were amazing too!

Overall nice experience. When you walk in, you go up to the bar and order. They will give you a number and you find your own table and get your own drinks. We ordered a pizza, salad, and garlic knockers. It was very loud in the restaurant so it was hard to order. We sat outside on the patio, and enjoyed some live music. Everything here is self serve so if you need something, you have to go to the bar and get it. Food was pretty good. However they did mess up our salad due to not hearing the order correctly (again the music was loud). Very friendly staff and they fixed the mistake immediately. Many people were sitting and working while enjoying a beer. Cool place definitely check it out if you are in the area. Large selection of beers!

This was my last stop on visiting all of the local Tailgate locations and giving them 5 stars cause I love them. This place is small but nice. As usual, the staff was lovely, the beer tasty, and the pizza absolutely the best. Now I will say one thing that disappointed me. I specifically asked if there was trivia that night and was told yep, at 7. So we ordered our food and patiently waited. And waited. And waited. Realized it was past 7 and no sign of trivia. There had been a storm just a couple hours before so I thought maybe it was cancelled after all? Hubby mentioned it when he paid our tab. NOPE. The trivia is played out in the other patio room. WHAT? No one told me this. No signs, no info, no announcements nothing. I was really sad to miss it because we had planned our night for that in particular. Sooo if you're wanting trivia, go outside. With that sad little bit out of the way, we still love you Tailgate.

Highly recommended this place. The pizza that we had was amazing. Honestly one of the best pizzas we have ever had. Perfect mix of flavors. We had the "hot honey" pizza but substituted the sausage for hot chicken. It was amazing. The other people with us had the "whipped ricotta" pizza and they loved theirs too. Great selection of beers on tap. The vibe of the place was cool and fun.

Great tap room with top notch pizza and so many screens to watch any sport imaginable. Staff here is friendly and make sure to join the mug club if you come here often!

Quality/Quantity - For a brewery in a "tourist" area, it sure felt like home here. Sports day today; the 49ers played and lost... Tried a few tasters and settled on a Session IPA. My daughter got a Sounds Strawberry Lemonade Shady. She could not finish it, so I had to help her. It was actually not bad, but still not my type of drink as it was a cider or sour. Atmosphere - "Two" floors. Main floor - Indoors with TVs all around, sports bar! Second floor = outdoor patio, also some BIG screen TVs, see pictures. What a cool spot to hang out, or at least finish our night. Well, after they closed at 9pm, we walked down the block to check out all the other MANY bars/clubs. Many promotions and discounts, see all my pictures. Service - 5 stars, welcoming and patient. Price - $15 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2014 and with your 8 locations. This is the second or 3rd location we have now been to.

Visiting from out of town with my boyfriend! David was super helpful and patient with me picking my new favorite beer!!! What a fun time and gorgeous atmosphere!! Thanks David for all the recommendations as well!

Great selection of beer. We had some great hazy IPA's! DDH and Home Run were excellent. We shared a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and boneless buffalo wings. After a few bite of the sandwich my mouth was really burning, but it was worth it! Wings were calmer and great with the blue cheese dip.

My bf & I are visiting Nashville for the first time & this was our first stop! Very close to our hotel so we took a quick scooter ride over on a Friday afternoon. It had a local vibe to it & I love that. We both ordered a flight - mine was a cider flight & my bf's was a beer flight. My bf also asked the bartender to pick the beers for him (the menu was overwhelming!) We also ordered a "make your own" pizza - Detroit style with pepperoni, jalapeños, & extra cheese. 1 Cider flight - I ordered all 4 ciders that were offered - Tailgate cider, blueberry cider, raspberry cider, & pumpkin pie cider (seasonal). My favorite was definitely the Tailgate cider! I wasn't a huge fan of the other 3 but I'm still glad I tried it all, so I know what to order next time. 2. Beer flight - My bf got Dragon's Gold, ruby grapefruit, Adoption ale (I think?), & pumpkin roll. His favorite was Dragon's Gold! 3. Detroit pizza - This was DELICIOUS!! I wish they did not add the extra marinara sauce on top, as I feel it took away from the rest of the pizza, but we just wiped it off so not a big deal! Definitely a great first stop!

This was honestly a disappointing experience overall. Came here to watch the NBA Finals game, but they didn't switch off the music to put on the tv audio. The pizza was pretty lacking as far as flavor was concerned. And there was a big lack in communication between staff where one employee was doing last call, but the bar had already closed taps. At least the beer tasted good.

Great selection of beers at a great price! The passion fruit guava and mimosa ciders were both very good and the rice crispy sour. The garlic knots are full of flavor and garlic which I love. The pizzas are also tasty. We got cheese with the honey whipped ricotta and loved it! It comes with so much ricotta so if you aren't a big fan of ricotta I'd recommend something else.

Pizza is great, had the beer samplers and bartenders are very attentive and replaced one of the dark mule with something we preferred. Great service.

I love tailgate brewery, it's one of my favorites in the city. They have a great and funky selection of brews, however most notably, they have delicious food. Their menu is full of typical foods like pizzas, wings & Sammie. The parking situation is eh, but worth a stop if you're in the area!

This place is a great place to have drinks, watch games and hangout in a cool environment. It's located right smack in the middle of other restaurants and bars. Great selection of local seasonal drinks and great service.

We brought our dog at patio seats. It was nice. DDH IPA and pizza were great! The employees were also friendly.

Came in about 30 minutes before they closed. The bartenders were still friendly and cool and took the time to explain the different types of beers to us. Since we got there so late, we didn't order any food, but the food on the menu looked pretty tasty. They also have a bunch of TV's where you can watch different sports. They have a pretty good selection of beers and I got the Peanut butter milk stout and it was really good. We stayed after closing time and we weren't rushed to leave, which I appreciate a lot. It's too bad im only here for a few days and we came so late, but I wish I could come back when it is really busy because it seems like this place would have a really cool vibe.

Tailgate has been on my pizza bucket list for years, and it was well worth the wait. I ordered the small veggie pizza, which came loaded with green peppers, red onion, tomatoes, black olives and mushrooms -- all atop a layer of rich marinara and savory mozzarella cheese. The crust had a very faint sweetness to it, which I enjoyed. That was complemented by the sweet notes in the sauce. The "small" size was perfect my hefty appetite. And while I'm not a beer drinker, I love hard cider and seltzers -- both of which Tailgate offers. Their standard cider is a little sweet for me, but still very drinkable. The seltzer flavor rotates, but I would be very happy if the cherry slush flavor I tried stuck around. The service was spectacular. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The atmosphere inside is laid back with plenty of TVs both inside and out, meaning this is a great spot to catch a game over good pizza and drinks. I look forward to coming back to explore more of the menu.

Highly recommend the knockers. The knocked my socks off. They were so knocking good that wife stole half of one. Nice guys at the bar. Took order, took money, gave food. What more could you ask for? Oh sports? They got that too. Don't sleep on this opportunity.

Visiting breweries is one of my things. In Nashville for a conference and after finally getting out of my hotel, friends and I walked here. Fairly close from Loews Vanderbilt. Fairly quiet for a Monday night. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Cool stuff on the walls. Impressive beer list. See the pic. Options abound and there were several sours so you know I got a flight. Aside from one that just wasn't to my taste, all were great. I got the Turkey Rachel sandwich and it was huge and delicious. And some seriously awesome fries. A friend got a pizza and it smelled amazing. You order at the bar and it comes to your table. Quick and super friendly service. And no hard time about splitting the bill at the end.

What a fun place! Indoor and outdoor seating. Great music. Tons of beers on tap AND lots of vegan pizza options. We ordered a few vegan pizzas. Our omni friends ordered pizza and apps and said their food hit the spot. Absolutely loved visiting this bar restaurant. Service was friendly. You can order at the bar and wait for your beer or pick it up yourself. So casual and so much fun.

10/10. Best pizza in town, you can't go wrong with your order. Pizzas are half off on Wednesdays which is amazing. The staff is so nice and helpful. The vibes are great and there's a great patio.

Aight guys....Tailgate is absolutely the best a hungry family could ask for...the Garlic Knockers were an absolute fabulous appetizer. The Pizza was amazing...we had the birria and lawd Jesus was it good...perfect flavor...the meat tasted like it was off of the best taco truck in the neighborhood...so delish. We had many beers as well...my personal fav was the grapefruit ipa..so subtle and just easily crushed...I highly recommend this place..we have been to the one in Chattanooga several times and this one didn't disappoint either!

This is one of those instances where I wish I could give more than five stars. I was tasked with finding a spot within walking distance of our hotel where we could hold a casual happy hour, and Tailgate Brewery was the best option. I contacted the staff beforehand to arrange it, to make sure they'd have space and could run a tab for our group of 20. Worth noting, they didn't make us pay any kind of reservation fee or hit any kind of ordering minimum, which a lot of other bars in the city seemed to push for. (This was a Monday evening though, so they weren't super busy.) The manager Tray and the rest of the staff were nothing short of gracious. They were beyond fantastic. They saved us tables on the patio, and the ordering process was really seamless. Food and drinks came out quickly. We got an array of apps like pretzel bites, fried green tomatoes, and garlic knockers, and everything was tasty. They also have craft pizzas which I didn't try, but a few of my friends did and they looked excellent. The beer menu is HUGE and fun. I started with a pink lemonade shandy, which tasted like a radler, very sweet and refreshing and perfect for summer. For my second drink, I did a pineapple cider, which tasted like pineapple juice. Seriously, the beers didn't taste alcoholic, so even if you're not a typical beer drinker I'd encourage you to give their menu a try! There were a lot of other great options I would've loved to sip if I wasn't such a lightweight. Lol. Ambiance was laid back, fun, and comfortable. This is a great place to come and hangout with friends. The outside did get pretty hot after a while, but indoors was cool. The bar was very spacious. Locationwise, it's on Music Row across from the Musica statue and near some other bars and restaurants, within a walk of several hotels.

Amazing beer selection on tap. Can't go wrong with the Detroit style deep dish pizza. With the hot honey drizzle. Perfection! The taco fries were pretty good as well. The service was great. All around one of my go to spots in Nashville, TN.

Table for 2 for lunch Approaching Tailgate Brewery Music Row, I was lucky enough to find street parking right in front. We had to pay via an online app. We entered and walked up to the counter and met David. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He asked us what beer styles we liked and helped us pick out some great choices for our flights. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the beers that were being offered at the time. He also advised that there was a special discount going on for their pizzas. It was Wednesday, and it was half off pizza day. We decided to go with a small Veggie. We ordered our flights and pizza and seated ourselves outside on the patio. The weather was perfect; a bright and sunny day. Tailgate had a very casual, quirky vibe, with artwork everywhere. There were even some  funny murals on the ceiling. We were enjoying our beers, and after a short wait, the pizza arrived. We started to dig in, and loved it. The tomato sauce was sweet and delicious. The crust wasn't super crunchy, but it was buttery with a nice bite. The vegetable toppings were very fresh. We were in no rush and taking our time enjoying the sunny patio. This place is a winner; I would definitely recommend it to anybody, and I can't wait to go back on our next visit to Nashville. David was a star and took great care of us.

Food was super good. When we went it was seat yourself, scan the QR code for the menu and order at the registers. Staff was nice, restaurant was clean. Def on the louder side but it wasn't obnoxious in any way. Family friendly. We ordered the street corn pizza, hot honey wings and birrra sandwich. Everything tasted great. Would definitely eat here again

Great beer. So much to choose from and it's all quality brews. Ask for Isaiah's masterpiece - orange dream wheat plus peanut butter milk stout. Great staff. Good vibes. THC seltzer and cannolis to go.

Loved this brewery! The food was great as well as the beer flights that we tried. My favorite was the maple beer, but everything was good. We also loved the garlic knots and ricotta pizza.

Friendly, fast, so so many brews on tap, amazing. I tried 5 beers, all great! My fav was the Imperial PB and J. Cool artwork, cool vibe.

I loved the ambiance and craft beer at Tailgate Brewery. We ordered at the bar and then sat on the outdoor patio. We enjoyed a flight of their Irish Red Ale, Maple Pecan Porter, Strawberry Rhubarb Kettle Sour, and Sadie's Hazy Double IPA. They also had some yummy sounding pizzas on their menu but we didn't get the chance to try them out. All of the beers that we got were solid but I love sours in particular, and their Strawberry Rhubarb sour was fantastic. It was my favorite drink during my trip to Nashville!

Change is good. We hear this all of the time. Lately though, change hasn't been so good - inflation, world events, people's attitudes. Thankfully, we can still find some good in this world. This may be small in the overall scope of things, but, for our dinner last night, the change was a bright light in this otherwise chaotic thing we call life. Like I said, the change is small but for Tailgate Brewery, it's huge. It's a new menu featuring Detroit style pizza (rectangular, thick chewy crust and sauce on top of the cheese) along with an ample selection of traditional pizzas served with unique topping combinations. They also have a specialty pie that changes monthly and a couple of desserts. This visit, we opted for the special, the Tye Dye. The pizza was a feast for the eyes. If you get this (and I strongly recommend you do), take a moment to delight in the art placed in front of you. This masterpiece is a six slice rectangle covered in mozzarella baked just right with a tad of yummy burnt cheese on the edges. Now for the ocular delight: 3 sauces - marinara, creamy marinara and pesto, drawn in diagonal lines across this culinary canvas. But that's just the background. The main focus of this pie are the small mounds of fresh ricotta cheese dotted on top. The ricotta kicked this very good pizza to something awesome. Who would have thought that a simple dollop of soft, creamy cheese could make such a difference but it does. The creamy marinara also really stands out - I'd love to have a bowl of ziti topped with this pinkish colored sauce. The pizza was 6 slices. Not huge but we were hungry and not hangry and ended up taking two slices back to the hotel with us. The restaurant is called Tailgate BREWERY and I'd be remiss to not mention the drink list. A very large offering of brews including hoppy IPAs, lagers, ciders and seltzers. Rounding out these libations were two frozen margaritas. The hubs ordered "blueberry pancake" beer and was just blown away by how it tasted just like it's name. Service was top notch. We ordered at the bar and seated ourselves. After we were seated, we were greeted by no fewer than three servers making sure we had everything we needed. We also had a chance to talk with the manager, Trey. We talked about his inspiration for the menu. We talked in length about one of the more unique toppings - the honey ricotta. He must have saw us drooling and brought us a sample. People, this is something you will want to eat plain with a spoon. Trey, if you're reading this, I'm STRONGLY recommending that you add a chocolate chunk brownie topped with the honey ricotta and a swirl of Ghirardelli's chocolate sauce to your menu. (And I want credit!!) We've been to Tailgate Brewery before and just weren't wowed. This time they knocked it out of the park! Can't wait to come back to Nashville!

Food was pretty good and beer was decent. However, our lunch for wife, myself, and 4yo daughter was over $100 after tip. That was for four beers, a couple of entrees and an appetizer.

The beers are excellent! Had a couple IPAs and lagers. Lock It In IPA was very good. Had a Nashville Hot Chicken and Mac pizza, and it was excellent too. Service was great, college games on all the TVs, nice weather....., I can't find anything to complain about! Lol - I'd definitely recommend!

Great all around brewery/taproom. The staff at this location are super attentive and care about their customers. They have a bunch of beers on the board at any given time so it is easy for most folks to find what they want. The food is pretty decent, but I would stick to the pizzas. They recently added Detroit style pizzas to the menu, and they are pretty darn good. Their mug club is second to none. Without going to all the perks, I will say this... $1 dollar beer on Tuesdays! I happen to like hazy (New England) style ipa's. This is my only gripe about Tailgate Brewing... they put lactose in every damn hazy beer. Huge bummer. Let the hazy style hops speak for themselves and quit adding a cover-up like lactose. Don't get me wrong, they still taste good, but this is unnecessary at best.

We were looking for some casual pizza and beer while visiting Nashville- This spot did not disappoint! The beer was delicious, so many offerings- we had a couple of the IPAs, they all hit the spot! The pizza was equally scrumptious. We had a pepperoni and the tie dye pizza off of the menu! The small was more than enough to share so ordering 2 gave us plenty of leftovers! To top it off, each and every staff member was helpful, friendly and attentive!

This was such a pleasant experience! We actually came here 2 nights in a row. The food may seem like it's not the biggest attraction, but you couldn't be more wrong! the food was delicious both nights we came here. The staff was very sweet, and the outdoor area was lovely. they also have tvs for sports etc. The beer is all locally made by the company, and we didn't try a beer we didn't like! Would highly recommend, especially within walking distance from a lot of places people stay. It is on the same street as a few great local businesses/ bars/ restaurants as well.

Everything was really good. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was amazing but way too hot for my weak tastebuds. They didn't even laugh when I asked to order one without the hot sauce. We took the hot one home so I could eat the regular there and the crispy fried chicken and the toasted bread were so good. My family enjoyed the pizzas as well. Oh and my dog loved his treat they brought him.

After wrapping up our sightseeing for the day, we decided to stop off for a snack and beer. Tailgate was not too far from Belmont Mansion, so we figured this would be a spot worth visiting. The bartender was welcoming and patient. Kind of tough to decide when you have so many choices! She even poured a couple of samples for me to try. I finally decided on the Mystic West Coast IPA. My wife tried out the Cherry Cobbler Sour Shnack, which she loved. Being there on a Monday meant all apps were 1/2 price. We requested the pretzel bites. After placing our order, we made our way to the outdoor patio area. It was a perfect day to be outside! Our food was brought out not too long after. The pretzels were served with mustard and liquid cheese. Everything was top notch! We were tempted to order another round but we decided against it. This place is a perfect spot to chill at and I would definitely stop in to sample more of their beers and other food options.

The staff here is amazing. They really hustle and you can tell they and bringing their A game! The food here is so fresh and delicious! The vibes are epic here and I always have a great time!

The hospitality here for those of us who aren't from the area, is a five star rating in itself! My soon-to-be wife and I were headed to a totally different bar when we were drawn into this place by the refreshing outdoor atmosphere and a worker from the brewery being a goof in the doorway waving us in. We came in and I guess, by the way we were looking around, the bartender manning the taps could tell we were from out of town. Matt (I think and hope that was him name for the recognition), was an absolute rockstar to make us feel at home here. The amount of choices was overwhelming, so we got to try a small sample of a few we thought we would like, to help us make our decision on our flights that we both got. Along with that, we were willingly "upsold" on one of their famous pizzas. In particular, the mac and cheese pizza with ham. Sounded strange, but we put our faith and trust in him and it absolutely delivered. The server came out to deliver the pizza to us and said "hey, have you two had this before?". We said no, and then he insisted he wait near us for our first bite to see our reaction. I'm sure the reaction on his end would have made the chefs proud in the back, because it was absolutely delicious. We were definitely "feeling" those beers on the flights we got, so we had to get it together before our fancy dinner in an hour and half after, but this place was definitely worth it. Outside and inside were poppin. When my fiance and I parted ways for our bachelor and bachelorette parties the next day, both of our groups stopped there throughout the weekend and each of our groups of people got to experience it all over again. 10/10 brewery, pizza place, conversation place, party place, whatever! Love it here!
