Denali Dome Home Bed and Breakfast

This is such a lovely place to visit and stay. The photos are accurate but don't fully show how roomy and comfortable the space is. Terry and Ann have made this such a comfortable space with all the amenities. The room was large with a comfortable bed and large closet. The bathroom is large with great lighting, big shower, shampoo, body wash and conditioner, lotion, and more. |On the ride from the train station, Terry points out where to buy groceries, gas, park entry, park buses as well as cautioning about the speed limits. They also give great suggestions about getting around the park and restaurants in the area.|Breakfast is made to order and served family style. Some of the best breakfast I've had anywhere at any price. Eggs cooked to order, french toast, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, homemade jam, coffee, juices, sausage. Great value and so convenient. And a great opportunity to meet others staying at the Bed and Breakfast. A family of 10 (with small children) were staying in the basement. The place is so larger we didn't hear anyone else unless we and they were in the common areas. Most of the time, people are out and we had the living room to ourselfes.|Bonus: The only moose we saw on the trip were outside in the yard. So fun to watch them come up to the salt lick and stay for a while. We saw them several times.|You will need a car to get to and from the Park. We rented one from Terry which is how we found this place to stay.

We stayed here for the Denali portion of our trip. Ann was very helpful in advance with recommendations and reservations (take the transit bus not the expensive narrated tour for example) for activities we wanted to do. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Bart had good tips for the park at breakfast. We already had a car but they picked up other guests from the train station and rented cars. They are about 10 miles north of "the gulch" so it's quiet but good restaurants and a market nearby. We had a great stay

It’s a complete pleasure staying with Ann & Terry. Their place is wonderful (and impeccably clean!), filled with Alaskan art and touches. It’s about 15 min from the entrance to Denali Ntl Park, and nearby a great bar (Totem) and restaurant (49th State).Terry is a fantastic breakfast cook, and both are so knowledgeable about the park and the entire area. We hope to return again soon, thank you for another wonderful stay!!

We were here for three days. It’s my first time staying at a B&B and I’ll tell you it didn’t disappoint. You can tell a lot of love is poured into this place. ||Comfy beds, good breakfast, snacks, and drinks are all highlights from our stay. And the biggest highlight - everything is well maintained and very clean. ||I highly recommend staying here (and renting a car from here too!)

We were only visiting denali area for one night and Terry made sure we had a great experience! The house was really nice, easy to find and close to the nearby attractions, also close to the park. Breakfast was great and Terry gave us helpful directions before leaving (how long before gas, parts of highway to be careful on). Great experience we would gladly stay again. Thanks Terry!

We stayed here for two nights while doing some dog mushing near Denali. Ann and Terry were wonderful hosts, and we very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable, and the lovely hot shower was much appreciated after a day out in the cold. We enjoyed the custom breakfasts, and enjoyed conversing with our hosts and learning more about the area and its history and surroundings. The main areas of the B&B were comfortable places to relax in the evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Truly fantastic location, accommodations and hosts. We appreciated being just outside the main area of Denali for a quieter experience. Beautiful setting in Healy. Hearty, home cooked breakfast each morning. The Millers are such accommodating hosts...terrific recommendations/helpful hints in the area as well as having walking poles, binoculars, and bear spray available for their guests to borrow...even a fire in the living room in the evening. We used the 2 rooms on the lowest level, which was perfect for my wife and me, along with our college age kids. Felt like home...we were very grateful.

What a great place to stay! The place is immaculate. This is because it is also he home of Anne and Terry. Our room and bathroom were clean, spacious, new carpet and a nice view. The Buckminster fuller geodesic dome is unique and provides open areas for guests to relax in. They living room huge with a nice TV and view of the field where moose pass through. The only times we saw our hosts were at check in, when we wanted area suggestions, when they picked us up and dropped us off, and at the magnificent cooked to order breakfast-I had coffee, OJ, eggs the way I wanted, French toast, and fruit while others had pancakes, waffles and sausage. This was better than any restaurant and probably better than I cook at home. They sent us off with loaner walking sticks to a few suggested activities. I suggest booking excursions with them, especially the Flight around Denali for phenomenal views. They will also suggest other buses where you can save big bucks . We also rented our car with them to explore on our own-all the cars had leather, nav, lower miles and were clean. It’s 10 mins from Denali National park so its easy and far greater value than corporate tourist trap. The only thing I did not like was the free homemade brownies has I no self control and they were always there for the taking.
