How the art, culture and culinary scenes in Athens have been revived - SilverKris

"A whitewashed modern gallery that opened roughly a year ago and celebrates the intersection of art and design, showcasing both established and emerging Greek and international artists; its curator describes a newfound artistic freedom in the city, with creators prioritizing expression over commercial pressures and engaging with the wider community through initiatives such as street art projects." - SilverKris

Google
Since there aren't very many reviews, I'd like to add my own. I've only been to Depot once, but I found it to be unique and a great space to view art. They have made good use of the available square footage to show a variety of work without it feeling cramped. I especially liked the caboose gallery dedicated to train-related art and photography.

Wonderful little gallery in Littleton. Used to be a railroad station, so lots of charm. A must see if you visit! Artists use different mediums and very reasonably priced! Shows change about every other month (check their website). Each year around December is the Holiday Express show with lots of wonderful gifts such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, pottery, jewelry, and the list goes on. These artists are very talented!

My favorite Co-Op gallery. As a member I have benefited greatly. Beautiful gallery that is very high quality with a nice ever changing variety of styles, media and prices. Love it! Just wish we weren't so tucked away behind (north) the Buck Recreation Center.

We have enjoyed visiting the Depot every time we are are in town. There is a wide array of art mediums from very skilled, local artists. I wish we were local so we could visit all the shows and I'm sure fill our home with more art 😊

Google
Great little coop gallery staffed with friendly artists. The exhibits are updated frequently including traveling exhibits. The process age very reasonable. It's a little out of the way, but worth checking out.

The women working were not welcoming and acted rude when I said I did not know anyone who had submitted to the show. Overpriced artwork and was shocked to see printed photos for $200+ that just were using a Lightroom filter to make it look like a hand drawn painting.

Very friendly atmosphere. The two artist that I met were great at showing and explaining how they created their artwork. My first time there. Had a good time.

Google
Authentic depot and caboose that makes a great setting for highlighting art from guild members that also staff the gallery and make your visit enjoyable. And the art displayed is for sale!

Yelp
Charming local art gallery with a ton of history! I love this secret little spot that is right in the heart of Littleton. There are new art shows nearly every month with a variety of art forms to view.

Yelp
This very interesting building is the original Littleton railroad depot, built in 1888 by the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe railroad. The building has been moved from its original location. The caboose next door is about ten years younger than the depot building. The depot is now the headquarters of the Littleton Fine Arts Guild which is celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2017. Most of the building is devoted to the Depot Art Gallery which regularly presents work by the members of the Fine Arts Guild and, occasionally, broader shows. The caboose is sometimes pressed into service as additional gallery space (rather difficult to access, unfortunately, via a very steep iron staircase). The depot building is owned by the City of Littleton and maintained by the Fine Arts Guild. Art shows are presented in the Baggage, Ticket, and Waiting rooms. The spaces are a little cramped and the quality of the art is variable, but this is a good place to find a bargain by a local artist. A wide variety of media is exhibited, including painting, sculpture, photography, pottery, and jewelry. There is lots of free parking and admission is free. I find it hard to keep track of their shows as I have not found a way to get on their mailing list, if one exists, and the Fine Arts Guild does not do a good job of publicizing their events.

Yelp
Not ada compliant and the littleton art guild that resides there has a hard time reading their own application for admission. Disabled artists do not apply.Paul has a tough time looking beyond the requirement for an 8 hour shift no matter the artisti

Yelp
It's a wonderful place to view the many talented artists in Littleton. I am biased because I belong to the Littleton Fine Arts Guild. It is Western Welcome Week here so there are a lot of selections to choose from. Plus, the admission is free. Nice way to meet other local artists

Yelp
Great gallery with a good choice of local, affordable art. Ranging from prints for $40 or so up to original oils etc for over $550. Really great place

Yelp
Great gallery but driving directions are wrong. The Depot is located on Powers Ave., east of the railroad tracks. Go over the bridge on Littleton Blvd., headed east and take the first left into the Courthouse parking lot. Go past the courthouse and the Buck Recreation Center and you will run straight into The Depot. 3/20/18 I believe Yelp has corrected the driving directions and I thank them for doing so!
