A nice campground but not very easy to find ur number site and reasonably crowded on the weekend, all of which made it harder to know which was ur fire pit. Beach gorgeous. Forest walk lovely. Facilities good.

My only regret is only staying one night! The beach is so beautiful, stunning rainforest and cutest kangaroos. Campground super close to the beach and you go to bed and wake up with so lany kangaroos. Pur favourote campground in NSW so far!

Fabulous remote feeling place just above the beach. Lots of friendly birds and kangaroos. We stayed in a recently renovated cabin with lovely furniture, good kitchen utensils and a lovely deck. Great access if walking the Murramarang coastal walk.

We stayed at a powered campsite. The site (P6 from memory) backed up to the Forrest, providing a beautiful view of the trees. Despite the campground being very full, it still felt like we had privacy. The camp facilities are fantastic, very modern and clean. It was a short walk to the beach which was amazing. It felt very secluded, and the shoreline views are amazing, you would struggle to find a more beautiful location anywhere on the planet. Even the drive to the site is amazing, just be careful of the wildlife on the roads, we encountered a Lyer bird, some wallabies and a lizard. This place was amazing, I will definitely be back.

Such a great place. One of the best camping experiences I’ve ever had. Spotless, big sites, hot showers, toilets are clean. Beach is nice and relaxing. Lots of kangaroos, birds and ducks and opossums. We really enjoyed it. We will be back soon.

Out of the way spot, but worth the windy, narrow road to get here. Cabins are spotless, beds are cosy, common areas are airy and inviting, with everything you need to be self sufficient for a few days. Camp barbies are clean and the gas is free. The beach is wonderful, and as it’s all of about 50 metres to walk to, we swam everyday. General stores are close by at either North Durras or back on the highway if you need to stock up on essentials.|This is a place to chill out and relax, read books and get back to nature. Internet access is patchy at best . . . and after the first hour of anxiety – that was the best part of our days here.|Thanks. Cate

Great spot. The amenities are new. Fairly crowded but peaceful. Rangers there during the day, every day - though they sold us wet firewood that we couldn’t burn. Especially no kindling. Great walk over the southern headland to north Durras beach.

People have raved on to me about this camping ground. I was so excited to book and go on another camping adventure. I was just so disappointed with the camp ground area. I was knee deep amongst the other campers, with no individually marked camp spots and if there were I couldn't see them. I spent one night here and was exhausted from the lack of sleep during the night due to the other campers having no respect for the time of night. Playing music and being so loud. The owners of the camp grounds finish in the office and go home so there is no one to police the camp grounds at night. I packed up and continued down the road for 1 minute and found Durras lake north caravan Park. Now before I tell you about them a very interesting point I should mention is that if you continue a little further past depot, the sky opens up and the whole area is filled with sunshine, something you don't get at depot. It could be midday at depot and it feels like it's 5 o clock in the afternoon. Durras lake North camping is far superior. Beautiful clearly marked sights that you can fit your car onto. There is adequate space between campers and you are surrounded by national park. I can't recommend them highly enough. Please do yourselves a favour and book at durras instead of Depot. I guarantee you won't regret it
