Gina and Carolyn are God sends! I couldn't have had a better experience with Depot 16. These ladies were so helpful, kind and informative from the day I reached out to tour a unit. Application and approval was super quick, and they were very communicative throughout the process. The property is beautiful - super clean, quiet and has that gorgeous art deco charm. I love my new apartment! Thank you!!

Living at Depot Apartments in Miami has been a great experience! The property is clean, well-maintained, and in a convenient location close to everything. But what really makes this place stand out is the management—especially Carolyn, the manager. She is incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. From the moment I started my application, Carolyn went above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free. She’s always available to answer questions and makes sure that every resident feels comfortable and well taken care of. You can tell she truly cares about the people who live here. Thanks to her support, moving in and getting settled was much easier than I expected. I really appreciate her effort to make the whole experience as pleasant as possible. I’ve been living at Depot Miami apartments for nearly 4 years now and Carolyn is the new manager and boy oh boy is she great at what she does and on top of that she’s sweet as pie, I take that back, she’s sweeter than pie! She is the epitome of Southern Hospitality. I’ve only known her a short time, but already I’m impressed with her work ethic, attention to detail and above all that she really cares about the tenants and the apartment buildings and the upkeep. Already in a few short months she has been making the buildings lighting, landscape and interior looking and feeling better than it has ever since I moved in nearly 4 years ago! Congratulations and a BIG THANK YOU CAROLYN for doing a job well done and going above and beyond. It shows and we notice the great improvements you are doing!!

I have had a wonderful time at this apartment. The setting of the community is very well kept and quite honestly gorgeous at all times of the day. The units span from brand new to the charming character (and well built—and kept) of art deco era. Overall, you get a really good feel for the heart of the tropical art deco soul of Miami Beach. A quick walk away to the mall too. Also, Carolyn is a fantastic property manager, both very welcoming and incredibly proactive. I really appreciate the whole team, too! Thanks, Josh

Do not move here! I truly don’t believe that the 5 star reviews are legit for this place. I’ve been a tenant here for 3 years and let me tell you that any problem will go unsolved. Carolyn, the property manager is trying to charge me and my wife an early termination fee after I left the unit for BLACK MOLD and unsafe living conditions. she had the maintenance crew come by and paint over black mold while they lied to us saying that it wasn’t harmful. I then payed out of pocket for a third party company specialized in mold and the results came in as “TOXIC BLACK MOLD” (proof attached) Please consider another property if you care about your health and safety of your loved ones.

I moved to Michigan Depot a couple months ago. I have had nothing but the best experience with the team from viewing the units on a short notice, applying and moving in. Carolyn was amazing from day one. She showed me my options, was patient with all of my questions and requests and was proactive in all communications. I never had to message her asking what was going on because she kept me informed every step of the way. Every unit I viewed was 100% updated beautifully and the property is well maintained. Carolyn runs things beautifully around here - things are taken care of at a high standard (something that is not common on the beach lol). Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The staff is all extremely pleasant and all of the neighboring tenants are quiet and respectful. I moved out of a tower building and was worried about losing "safety" and having the property be loud or unmaintained. Actually, it is extremely safe, quiet and I have first hand view of how often it is maintained. Loving the property, the area and the entire team.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU RENT!!! (Illegal charges, roaches, MOLD) My husband, my dog and I were living in this apartment for a while, and had concerns regarding mold in our unit. We brought it up to them in July of 2025, saying there was mold in the closet. Their maintenance guy came by, and assured me it was not mold. He told me it was only a water stain and he would come fix it. No testing was done, nothing was checked. He then asked me if I had any bleach to help clean the area! And he proceeded to wipe the MOLD all over my closet! He painted over it with dry wall, and they called it good. A week after this, I was experiencing extreme itching all over my body to the point my legs were severely bruised because of how bad I was itching. All my clothes went back in that closet where he wiped TOXIC mold everywhere. After a few months, the blackness of the mold was obviously back and visible again from where he painted over it. We mentioned the mold to them again, and they said “oh we know where this is coming from, we will handle it” then we heard nothing. We e mailed them again asking about the mold, and they told us they were gonna fix the AC. The AC was not our issue at this point. We then hired our own private professionally licensed mold inspector to run tests. THE AIR TEST AND SWAB TEST CAME BACK POSITIVE FOR STACHYBOTRYS, AKA TOXIC BLACK MOLD. We e mailed Depot management with all the information,m we received from the inspection and gave them a 7 day notice to fix the issue. They did not respond for days. Then they sent people to fix the AC. Then, they tried to send the maintenance guy to cut out the “water stain” with just a saw! This would have caused the mold spores to spread all over the closet and in our small studio apartment where all of my belongings have to go! I also have asthma, and was already dealing with skin irritation! This is not the proper way to remove black mold, there are requirements! We asked them to please bring anyone to help take the black mold out properly and they never answered us in regards to mold. They never even mentioned the word mold! After they did nothing, we stood by our 7 day notice and left our uninhabitable apartment. Now, they’re trying to charge us $4,000! Because of their mistake! What they did and are doing is ILLEGAL!! DO NOT RENT HERE! I have may other issues we dealt with, including the microwave not working and them NEVER fixing it. Our windows covered in algae and ROACHES! I had to get my own roach extermination kit and try to fix the issue myself! These people do not care about their residents!

Caroline was absolutely amazing! She helped us find and secure our apartment so quickly and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was always responsive, patient, and willing to answer all our questions. We’re so grateful for her help and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and dedicated agent!

I just moved in aug 12 and I have had rent payment difficulties for both months . They are charging me 100$ a month late fees butI have paid each month what was quoted . There are many maintenance items that have not been addressed . there were no drawers in the kitchen and an unprotected side entry thatis completely open to the street . My bathroom door does not close and the front door is also not hung correctly . This has caused a high electric bill - 3 times what my former was in the same sq feet . My washer/dryer is not performing correctly. I would notrent here in the future. Jean
