The room was excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. However, the hotel’s kitchen is quite small with a very limited menu. The food prices are on the higher side, and while the taste is acceptable, it’s nothing exceptional. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment—poor in taste, limited in variety, and refilling was notably slow. Despite being marketed as a heritage property, the hotel lacks the true heritage or royal ambiance one might expect. For ₹14,000 for a two-night stay (including breakfast), the experience doesn’t justify the cost. The location is also not ideal, being close to a busy bus stand, which affects the overall atmosphere. Ratings: Room: 10/10 Service: 5/10 Food: 6/10 Location: 3/10 Staff: 7/10 Overall: A decent stay if you prioritize room comfort, but not a good value for money considering the food quality and lack of heritage charm.

Beautiful old villa, a haven of quietness behind a busy bus station. The pool is great for a quick dip after or before sightseeing. We got a room upgrade and stayed in a large, spotlessly clean suite with all amenities and the most comfortable beds I ever slept in :-) Staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet plentiful with many Indian and Western choices. Would definitely book again!

Charming stay with Great staff. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The cleanliness throughout the property is impressive, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The spacious rooms ensure a comfortable stay, and the breakfast options are delightful. While the facilities are good, they could use a bit more variety, but the pool is a nice touch for relaxation. Overall, a lovely experience worth considering.

I love everything about this hotel, the room, the staff, the food. It's located in a rather quiet area of the city, and it feels peaceful and safe here. It's around 10 mins drive away from the Pink City. Our room comes with a balcony, which is very chill and relaxing. The thing I love the most is the staff here, everyone is so friendly and helpful, always greeting us with warm smile, and always ready to help. The food they make is also good, home made and authentic. I can't recommend this place enough for people visiting Jaipur.

The hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming, friendly and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was beautiful and clean. The food was delicious. We also got to hear about the history associated with the hotel as this hotel belongs to one of the Royals of Rajasthan.

A formidable experience. We have stayed two nights, anda the stuff have been friendly and kind, taking care all detalls, rooms clean and bigger than usual with a private terrace. Also a pool to calm the August weather. I would recommend to everyone

Loved this place so much. Everyone is greeting you every time you enter and saying goodbye everytime you leave. They sourced watermelon and oatmilk specially for us. Service is just fantastic. Special thank you to Shyam - he exceeded our expectations. We will return next time we are in Jaipur and will recommend this place to anyone we know who wishes to visit this incredible city.

This was everything we had hoped for, and more, in a small family run hotel in India. ||We were collected from the airport by the hotels friendly driver who acted as a tour guide on the journey, giving us snippets about each area as we passed through. He actually gave us more information on this short journey than the guide we’d ordered for the following day! ||The hotel setting is perfect in a quiet road walking distance from the crazy main road but far enough to be peaceful. ||Through the gates you find a beautiful oasis of calm where plenty of staff await with the combination of discretion and service perfectly balanced. Friendly and immaculate Dillip welcomed us and completed the formalities, (check in was wonderfully quick). He escorted us to our room, or rather suite, in no time. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished in exactly what I expect of classic Indian while having the mod cons of mini bar, TV, kettle and two air conditioning units. The bathroom was immaculately clean with bath, shower and rooms own hot water supply. ||We both had a great nights sleep in the wonderfully comfortable beds. The following morning we thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast of western and Indian items, with fresh eggs to order, along with several cups of excellent tea and coffee and fabulous service from the team!||The pool is a great haven after hours of sightseeing in the heat, comfortable loungers and towels aided an afternoon al-fresco nap. Perfect! ||We ate dinner in the restaurant twice, a beautiful setting on the terrace and probably the best food of our trip! We loved chatting to the staff and sharing stories while we waited for our food. ||We have stayed in several so called five star hotels on this trip and nothing has come close to the Dera Rawatsar in terms of friendliness, service and ambiance. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!||Thank you for a wonderful stay at a special place. I wish you all the best and hope we’ll be back with you one day soon!
