Dera Rawatsar Heritage Hotel

This was everything we had hoped for, and more, in a small family run hotel in India. ||We were collected from the airport by the hotels friendly driver who acted as a tour guide on the journey, giving us snippets about each area as we passed through. He actually gave us more information on this short journey than the guide we’d ordered for the following day! ||The hotel setting is perfect in a quiet road walking distance from the crazy main road but far enough to be peaceful. ||Through the gates you find a beautiful oasis of calm where plenty of staff await with the combination of discretion and service perfectly balanced. Friendly and immaculate Dillip welcomed us and completed the formalities, (check in was wonderfully quick). He escorted us to our room, or rather suite, in no time. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished in exactly what I expect of classic Indian while having the mod cons of mini bar, TV, kettle and two air conditioning units. The bathroom was immaculately clean with bath, shower and rooms own hot water supply. ||We both had a great nights sleep in the wonderfully comfortable beds. The following morning we thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast of western and Indian items, with fresh eggs to order, along with several cups of excellent tea and coffee and fabulous service from the team!||The pool is a great haven after hours of sightseeing in the heat, comfortable loungers and towels aided an afternoon al-fresco nap. Perfect! ||We ate dinner in the restaurant twice, a beautiful setting on the terrace and probably the best food of our trip! We loved chatting to the staff and sharing stories while we waited for our food. ||We have stayed in several so called five star hotels on this trip and nothing has come close to the Dera Rawatsar in terms of friendliness, service and ambiance. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!||Thank you for a wonderful stay at a special place. I wish you all the best and hope we’ll be back with you one day soon!

An amazing hotel inthe hustle and bustle of Jaipur. Our superior room was more like a suite with a split level lounge and bedroom with 2 bathrooms. Service was impeccable. (Room 204hWe were there for Holi. The hotel put on an amazing morning with music and colours and dancing. We visited the tourist organised Holi celebrations after this at the Kathi Koti hotel which were really bussing. Breakfast was a nice buffet with cooked egg options as well. On our return it was lovely to relax with a beer and light lunch and a dip in the pool. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I had the chicken thali - 2 curries and all the accompaniments. The following day we had a site seeing tour with our private guide and spent a second night enjoying the hotel. So much cheaper for alcohol than either Delhi or Agra. |A very memorable stay thank you to all the staff

Beautiful boutique hotel away in a peaceful enclave of Jaipur. Upgraded to an enormous suite taste full furnished. Pool was great after a hot dusty day sightseeing. Ate a very delicious dinner at the hotel one evening. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

Best Hotel we have been to in India!!!|The Hotel is clean, super cute, has a delicious breakfast and the staff is awesome. |On top of that, it has the perfect location, close to the City Center but without all the noises, so you can enjoy your time at the pool too. |If you want a great experience in Jaipur, I highly recommend you to stay in the Dera Rawatser Hotel!

A great location in Jaipur. Run by a very welcoming Indian family who live in the front of the property. Rooms very comfortable and peaceful. Seemed to be more European guests and excellent catering on site meant there was plenty of choice on the menu to have all meals on site. Pool gives a great respite on hot days.

Hotel is so calm ,rooms are excellent, clean . And about the staff and service , it was overwhelming. They are so friendly and helpful ,we felt at home

Very nice family run hotel with authentic feel. We got n upgrade in room type with additional sitting area and small balcony. Food for lunch and dinner very tasteful, javeen was extremely kind at pool side. Close to busterminal and just of the beaten track. Little gem in hectic Jaipur
