Good food with friendly staff. A little expensive for what's on the menu, but everyone enjoyed it.

My Hot Brown was very good. But this is a small museum cafe, so be prepared for that. There's zero atmosphere and you may not get to sit down. The place was packed with people.

Convenient but atrocious food. The cheese on my sandwich was stiff and discolored. The tomatoes were dried out. The bacon was cold as a corpse. Service is moderately friendly but seems worn out by tourists.

Was doing a tour at Churchill Downs yesterday and stopped in for a drink after the tour. Johnny is an awesome bartender, he was nice enough to take a picture of me and husband. Cheers to Johnny, he des a raise and I hope his foot gets better!!

Went on the off season to the derby museum and the derby cafe. Was not all that impressed with the food selection and quality. However, good drink selection and seating.

We stopped in for lunch between tours at Churchill Downs. The grilled cheese and tomato basil soup were darn good considering there were snow flurries in late March. We enjoyed our day at the track and a great lunch helped.

Our bartender, Jimmy Bourbon was the NICEST!!! He was such a great bartender. He made us feel very welcomed. The drinks were phenomenal! He definitely made our experience at the Kentucky Derby museum 10000000/10!!! Great guy! Thanks Jimmy!

Visiting Churchill Downs from NJ and had my first bourbon drink, prepared by Johnny Bourbon. Enjoyed my mint julep immensely but have to say, my husband's "perfect" old fashioned was to die for. Johnny was personable, knowledgeable and the highlight of our tour. One of the best bartenders we've yet to know; wished we lived closer to enjoy his company more often. Thank you, Johnny!
