50 States, 50 Desserts: America's Favorite Sweet Treats | Condé Nast Traveler

"Inside the Kentucky Derby Museum I enjoyed a slice of Derby‑Pie at the Derby Cafe & Bourbon Bar—rich, gooey chocolate‑and‑walnut pie served with nods to Kentucky’s horse‑racing culinary culture." - Arati Menon, Megan Spurrell

Good food with friendly staff. A little expensive for what's on the menu, but everyone enjoyed it.

The atmosphere was great, we ate the b.L.TI did like it, but we both agree that they used a little too much butter on the B.L.TI thought they were supposed to be toasted.Other than that, it was pretty cool.Everybody was very friendly. The bartender was nice.I wanna visit again

I got to try my first hot brown sandwich. Seems like a pretty steep price at 15 dollars. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly

My Hot Brown was very good. But this is a small museum cafe, so be prepared for that. There's zero atmosphere and you may not get to sit down. The place was packed with people.

Convenient but atrocious food. The cheese on my sandwich was stiff and discolored. The tomatoes were dried out. The bacon was cold as a corpse. Service is moderately friendly but seems worn out by tourists.

Went on the off season to the derby museum and the derby cafe. Was not all that impressed with the food selection and quality. However, good drink selection and seating.

Was doing a tour at Churchill Downs yesterday and stopped in for a drink after the tour. Johnny is an awesome bartender, he was nice enough to take a picture of me and husband. Cheers to Johnny, he des a raise and I hope his foot gets better!!

We stopped in for lunch between tours at Churchill Downs. The grilled cheese and tomato basil soup were darn good considering there were snow flurries in late March. We enjoyed our day at the track and a great lunch helped.
