We had a wonderful dinner at Déryné celebrating my birthday. Even though we told them we were too full to order dessert, the staff Martin surprised me with a complimentary birthday dessert. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture and truly made the evening special. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, and outstanding service. Highly recommended! Martin had a excellent service and he recommended some place for us to visit.

After a disappointing visit some time ago, I decided to give Déryné another chance and I’m so happy I did! I completely fell in love with this place again. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every time I’ve been back, the experience has been excellent. The service is also 10/10: each time we were served by different waiters, and every one of them was kind and attentive. They paid attention to every little detail and made us feel truly welcomed. The atmosphere and decoration make it such a warm, cozy, and elegant place to be. It’s one of my favorite spots in Budapest, and I always look forward to going back. I recently celebrated my birthday here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Overall, Déryné has completely won me back. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing vibe. One of the best places in town!

Very nice and professional service, friendly staff, we've got Martin as our host. Talked a lot about movies and O received some portrait cards of famous actors. The food and drink is legendary here no wonder top celebrities visit this place. Highly recommended restaurant.

This is a fabulous, international standard restaurant wjth warm, elegant and European interiors, incredibly warm service and creative food. The menu is diverse and includes Mediterranean staples from steaks -presented raw on a platter to select from, fried eggplant, an array of seafood , meatballs and lots of vegetarian options. Wines are fabulous by the glass or bottle and the whole dinner experience has a fabulously upbeat, fun, creative, energetic feel.

loved the ambiance. everyone was incredibly attentive throughout the entire night. although the portions are rather small, they were very tasty. we got the burrata salad, wagyu, carpaccio, and the fried eggplant side (which was surprisinly the best item) and all of them were fantastic. music style & volume definitely made our night. incredible bistro that lightens up this quiet area!

Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous!!!What an amazing experience we had from greeting to food, wine and surroundings. This place is very special. All four of us are world travellers and this was one of the best quirky places we have ever eaten.Staff were warm, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable, able to advise on food ordering and the amount we would need. It's a sharing menu but you can have your own dishes. Everything we ordered was divine!!! Burrata, goyzu and enchiladas to start.Lobster spaghetti and lamb polpetti and fabulous veg to share for main.Baklava, and Passion fruit crème brûlée to die for. Our waiter who we stupidly didn’t get the name of but he looked like a Hungarian God 😂😍 was outstanding. Deryne has been visited by many famous faces pictured on the walls. The interior design of the restaurant is genius; quirky, inviting, intimate and stunning! A restaurant not to be missed!

So glad I got to visit this restaurant for brunch while in the area. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were made to perfection. We were lucky enough to grab one of the last burgers available for the day since they only make so few. The pork schnitzel was great as well. The atmosphere was electric and the staff were super friendly. Definitely a must try.

Everything about this place invites you into another world. The service is wonderful, and the food leaves a lasting impression that makes you want to come back special thanks to the chef. A truly winter-perfect atmosphere, a beautiful experience that’s absolutely worth repeating.
