I really wanted to give this restaurant a 5 — and trust me, I’m holding on to that last star so tightly! This spot was recommended by a friend, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a great evening. The waiter greeted us warmly and reassured us they’d find us a table, which they did without any hassle. The atmosphere was absolutely spectacular — beautiful, elegant, and with a sexy charm. A DJ was playing in the background, adding to the vibe without being intrusive. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating, each space beautifully designed with dim romantic lighting, warm wood accents, and plants woven into the decor. We chose to sit outside and it was perfect. We turned to Google Maps for food suggestions and ended up ordering the eggplant schnitzel as a starter and the veal escalope for our main. The portions were generous, the presentation was excellent, and the quality of the food truly stood out. Everything was full of flavor and thoughtfully prepared. To top it off, they welcomed us with complimentary bread, olive oil, and thyme — and ended the meal with delicious Hungarian bubbles on the house. It’s those extra touches that really make a difference. A special shoutout to Martin, our waiter, who was incredibly helpful and added so much warmth to our experience. We highly recommend this place — it’s absolutely worth the visit!

The place is charming, large, with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options for all tastes. It's luxurious, so don't do as I did and come well dressed. The food is delicious with good, fresh ingredients and freshly prepared. The service is very friendly and very professional. The price is in line with the quality of the place; you should come with a full wallet.

Vibe is great, loved the live jazz, service was attentive and not overbearing. But: the prices are just not justified by the quality of the food. Don’t get me wrong — there is nothing problematic with the food. It’s perfectly fine. But this is a restaurant priced at double Michelin star level, and, that it is not.

This restaurant was highly recommended by several locals and very glad we were able to go. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. Can’t go wrong either way. Food was very fresh and delicious. The asparagus dish is a must. All of the staff were incredible. We felt more like we were being served by friends. Definitely recommend!

On a Sunday evening, we were happy to find an available outdoor table. The staff truly shined; they were incredibly quick, responsive, and friendly throughout our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers, which were a highlight. However, the NY strip, recommended for two, was just "okay" and didn't justify its price tag. The service was definitely five-star, but the food, particularly the steak, was closer to a three-star experience given what we paid!

Just follow Moni’s recommendations, then you can enjoy the typical Hungary food in Budapest. Also, I didn’t like either goose liver or duck liver, but here provides the best one I’ve ever eaten. The best food and service in Hungary, ten out of ten, no joke.

Atmosphere Déryné has a cool, warm, and inviting ambiance, an ideal spot for a summer dinner. It strikes that rare balance between stylish and comfortable. Food The food was absolutely amazing. While it’s a creative twist on Hungarian cuisine, the flavors and execution were spot on. From the top of the menu, everything impressed us. We especially loved the aubergine, Caesar salad, quesadillas, ragu, carpaccio. Every plate was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Service Service was fantastic, extremely attentive and genuinely friendly. Our table took a little longer to be ready, and they offered us complimentary champagne, which was a lovely touch. Value Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely worth it.

Off the beaten path for tourists but very local and recommended. Staff was nice, bartender was very attentive, food was delicious. I would recommend this place to someone who is traveling to Budapest. Worth trying on the other side of the river but also encourage you to walk the area. Be a local and try many things
