We loved this very roomy suite! Nicely decorated with everything you could possibly need. The bed was super comfy. It was very quiet as it is off the main road so we slept great. We will definitely be back!

This place was amazing! I was very pleasantly surprised. For how inexpensive it was, we expected less. It was spotless. It was so clean, in fact, that we made a game out of it to see if we could find any dirt or dust anywhere. There was none. It was absolutely meticulously clean. The beds were super comfortable, there was a cute patio out back, fully stocked kitchen, and board games. 3 whole bedrooms that were decorated beautifully. My only regret is that we didn't plan our trip so that we could stay here longer! We will definitely be coming here again!

- UPDATE - They got upset with me for posting this review, so the day after I posted it (10 days after our stay), they made up a "damage" (claiming a scratch on a TV that we did not go near), and they charged my credit card $120 without my approval and without notice. It doesn't get worse than this. So dishonest and a never-ending nightmare. My creditcard company is handling this as fraud. - The Desert Inn was a super shady and horrible experience, and its manager Barry was even shadier in handling the mistake, which he even admitted was in their end. (And just to note, they tried to bribe me with a $30 refund to not write this review, but I would rather warn people and not take that money). So just beware of the other good reviews. We arrived a family of three with an 8-month old baby. We had driven all day and arrived at 6pm to find that they had given us a 1 bedroom apt with a single bed rather than a 3 bedroom apt, which we had reserved and prepaid for. The front desk was closed, and when we called their number, the manager said that he could see that we had booked and paid for a 3 bedroom, but unfortunately they were fully booked, and he did not know what had happened - and that was that. I asked him for a full refund ($170 for two nights), so I could go somewhere else, as we were three people, including a small baby, and there was only one bed), but he refused. We were back and forth on the phone for three hours, and the poor baby had to sit in the car waiting after a full day of driving. We finally had to sleep on the floor because all the other hotels in the area were full at that point, because it was so late. The next day they were still fully booked, but the manager promised to rectify the situation somehow, but their idea of rectifying it was to charge fully for the first night (so they charged for a 3 bedroom even though we slept on the floor in the 1 bedroom), and they would then refund us for the second night, if we were to check out. We packed up and left immediately, but they ended up only refunding $40 for the full day and night, because they sneaked in a penalty for canceling (after they themselves asked us to cancel and guaranteed the full refund). This place is so so shady.

I can see why it's a 3 star hotel. They say no netflix because they care about your privacy but they don't have a solid cutain by the parking lot so everyone can see you walking around in your underwear. You climb the curb every time u enter the parking lot. They just need to put a little ramp there or something, but it's literally just the curb when u come in, you'll see it. And to top it all off you have to check out early. The normal standard for a checkout time is 11am, they make you check out at 10am, if you want to checkout at the normal time that's an extra 20 dollars. The amenities and the place is self is a great place don't get me wrong, but they definitely haven't thought everything through. I mean there's literally duct tape on one of the kitchen chairs to hold it together lol.

Our experience was great. Accommodations are great for our big family as it has 3 rooms . Only issue was that couldn't get our morning coffee as the coffee maker was broken. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Mostly a good experience at this little historic motel: Lots of space, with a full kitchen, living room/dining room, and three bedrooms. Giant TV in the living room. Air conditioning worked great, especially since it was so hot outside. Easy to walk to several restaurants. Close to grocery stores and other shopping in Page. Quiet street. Bathroom is dated but functional. It's not fancy, but you are also not paying fancy prices.||However, a few things made our stay less than 5 stars: There's an extra $30+tax charge to use the laundry machine for one day. We paid the fee since we desperately needed to do laundry and didn't feel like schlepping to a laundromat. The management states that the laundry is mostly for their staff to use, which is fine, but it's also included on the floor plans on Booking.com so we assumed it would be available for our use. The apartment smelled like fish when we arrived, so we had to air out the place for a few days before it didn't smell fishy when we walked in. Back patio area was nice but didn't have any shade so we couldn't use it during the 100*+ days.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment for 3 nights of relaxing during a hectic 3 weeks of travel. It was perfect for spreading out and reorganizing all Our assorted luggage, watching tv and making some homecooked|Meals. Bed was very comfortable. It is a historic building so there is wear around the edges but it was super clean and well appointed. The price was great.|I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Desert Canyon Inn was a great place to stay in Page, Arizona. The value for the price was unmatched. The beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and the hosts were accommodating of our need for a late checkout when we had gotten in at 3 am that morning. Overall, would recommend.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to lay your head you can do that here. One major bonus is that the apartment we rented had 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen. It was however very old, walls were thin, locks not necessarily sturdy enough to hold and cameras absolutely everywhere. Even at the back entrance where housekeeping goes inside (guests are allowed to use this entrance, which is not locked to the outside courtyard. The courtyard has charcoal grills that were available to use with charcoal provided, however, we used the kitchen to cook. The courtyard was alright as it had patio tables and a few lounge chairs, but it's overlooking a back alley with old townhouses and broken windows. So it doesn't really feel like a super safe area. We also encountered about 4 police cars right on the corner down the street that had something going on.

Yelp
The Desert Canyon Inn is a wonderful place to stay while in Page AZ. Daisy is a great host and the rooms are nice and they have outdoor grill and seating areas. When in Page stop and stay awhile.

Yelp
The absolute BEST experience we have ever had at ANY hotel/motel!! We arrived just in time for a warm, inviting fire outside in the fire pit... The manager, Heather was beyond accommodating! Her attention to detail and friendly welcome made this already wonderful property even more special! The "room" is 3 times the size of a normal hotel room with a separate bedroom, kitchen, full living room and huge bathroom and EVERY inch was SPOTLESS and smelled sooooo good!! We simply cannot say enough about our exemplary stay at this special motel!!

Yelp
This hostel was uniquely comfy and apropos to our visit to Page, AZ and it's surroundings. Having the opportunity to regularly stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, and not a professional hotel reviewer by any means, and not a regular business traveler - but as a primarily pleasure and needs wanderer, I have developed as what I believe is my most concise method for scoring the worthiness of each hotel visited in accordance to personal criteria. My measures are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score:5]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score:5]; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score:5]; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas and access to an office center and Wi-Fi access [Score:4]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score:3]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score:4]; Taking all the aforementioned categories in a scale of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This hotel rates a: 3.6. Most positive point(s) at this hotel is/are: how close to everything we wanted to visit; it's ease if access from main road; overall quiet ambience and outdoor lounging area. Most negative points found here are: on the positive side so much as to not worth mentioning. My price to value to overall assessment: VERY, VERY Good!

Yelp
Kind of a sketchy looking neighborhood as you drive into 8th st. Pleasantly surprised when we drove up to the actual grounds. Rina was so pleasant & informative! The grounds were very clean. We rented a 3 bedroom apartment for only 1 night. It was very CLEAN! It smelled nice. Everything you needed was available. Plenty of towels , toilet paper, complimentary coffee. A full working kitchen (we used the fridge to empty our cooler & refroze our ice packs. Plenty of Parking in the back It was a wonderful stay! Highly recommend it. Thank you.

Yelp
These are well-equipped and beautifully maintained apartments. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed, and we enjoyed having a comfortable living room for our family's stay. The beds were comfortable -- even the sleeper sofa!-- and we were impressed by how quiet it was, given its central location. Pushpa, the hostess, was friendly and helpful, and went out of her way to tell us about activities and restaurants in town. I would highly recommend this for family trips!
